DORMERO Hotel Halle

The location of the hotel is good. The room is large and the bed huge, and very comfortable, although I would rather have had 2 single beds as was travelling with my son. The bed only had one pillow and one single duvet despite the booking was for 2 people. We found another pillow and duvet in the wardrobe but I do feel the room should have been set up for 2 people. The free drinks in the fridge was nice, but the fridge was not cold, there was also no way to open the drinks but we asked at reception and they provided a bottle opener. The shower in the bathroom was broken so you had to hold it to shower as it did not stay in the holder. The bathroom was clean but did smell damp. There was chilled water, sweets and pastries to help yourself to at the reception. The check out was midday which is great but it was rather a shock at 11.55am when just finishing packing in the bedroom someone tried to enter the room with no knocking or warning, this really is not acceptable.

A nice boutique hotel in great location. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Rooms are large and comfy. But keeping me from giving this hotel a higher rating than 2 stars is the lack of communication and the ignorance of the hotel staff - I left a quite expensive charger in my room during my last stay (the wall plugs are in a really awkward locations in the rooms). Called the hotel twice and sent 3 e-mails. They confirmed the carger was found, asked me to send my address and cotact details via e-mail but they never replyed those e-mails.

Dormero, DORMERO so good they make you pay twice. I stayed in this hotel in December and was charged twice. I emailed them the day after my stay and two months later I am still waiting on a refund. I understand how a mistake can be made but to have no urgency to correct it is totally unacceptable. The hotel is in a good location. Comfortable but maybe in need of decoration. Rooms are spacious and old style.

Old hotel that has not aged well. It is in dire need of complete and full renovation. Rooms are spacious, but you can hear everything that is going on outside and inside. Staff is friendly enough, rooms are cleanish. I will likely not stay there again, unless I cannot help it.

Excellent cost/service balance. The hotel is well located, near the station and also near the old town. I would definitely stay there again.

The personnel were super rude. The waiter was not honest. I asked for a glass of tap water, and he replied if I wanted still or with gas (which does not make quite sense), I repeated that it had to be tap water. Later he charged me 4 euros...

Rooms are in normal size. But too old building. Location is great. There is Anatolia Cuisine near the hotel. Anatolia was great 👍 delicius food and great staff

The location of the hotel is excellent, but the rooms had a bad odor. While the rooms themselves are spacious and nicely appointed, the unpleasant smell detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, check-in was problematic, as our room wasn't ready until 4:30 PM. On the other hand, they are strict about check-out times and charged extra for an additional hour.
