DORMERO Hotel Hannover

The hotel is clean, with a reasonable price. The room is also really clean but a bit small. I had a business travel there and I was happy with their services.

Visited in March. 15 min walk to the Hannover main train station and a U rail station is within 1 block of the hotel. Hotel is clean, simple modern, and the staff was superb! Breakfast is additional cost, but worth every penny, er Euro. City centered and an easy walk to many of the touristy sites. Many food options and 2 REWE grocers across the street from the hotel. Walking distance to a beautiful river. Bring good shoes, you'll walk over 15k steps each day while touring Hannover and the nearby cities. This American girl was very pleased with this stay. Would stay again here or any of their hotel locations in Europe because of this experience. Danke!

Great service, pets are more than welcome and staff isvery polite and friendly. Superb location as well, especially if you are going to a concert near the hotel - perfect choice

very nice hotel. relatively close to the city center. public transport almost in front of the entrance. great selection for breakfast. pleasant "above-standard" services included in the price - drinks in the minibar and in the hotel lobby. rooms clean and tastefully furnished, only visible signs of use in places. friendly service, nothing to complain about

Quirky hotel with an on-site parking lot and a few free beverages in the rooms. Breakfast quality is meh for the price. Our room's air conditioner did not seem to function and the desk wasn't very helpful about it. Really unpleasant on the hot days we were there and it was hard to sleep because of the heat. Late check out time was nice.

Very Clean hotel. A smaller room with free drinks in the minibar. Great location and friendly and helpful staff. Parking with underground garage was located perfectly within so that you just can take the elevator up to the reception. |Cons: Built in tv so you can’t connect your own chromecast etc. No room service and limited bathroom supplies. Also very loud AC. Overall a great one-night stay.

Great money/value. One of not that many hotels which is truly pet friendly and guests with cats are welcomed here, In comparison to many others who state they're "pet friendly" but in fact accept only with dogs. Both rooms we booked were clean and pretty fresh, "welcome drink" feature is a pleasant addon that you don't expect. Parking on site is for 19eur/d, but there are plenty of parking spaces around that are free after 6pm till 9am or on Sundays, or there are a few huge free parking spaces closer to lake. U-bahn station is close and city center is in walking proximity as well if you like to walk. We haven't tried breakfasts here. 1evening and next morning there was a pretty strong smell of weed on 3rd floor and elevator, but that's rather "kudos" to unmannered other guests than to hotel or staff.

we took a standard double room for 350 Euros per night, the room was very small, no more than 30cm of space on the sides of the bed, a small desk, no wardrobe except a couple of hangers. physically there was no room for the suitcases anywhere other than leaving them on the floor and climbing over them to go to the bathroom. We asked for a slightly larger room, at least to manage changes. At reception they told us that the rooms are all the same and that they were fully booked. we invited the receptionist to check the measurements of the room, she came up and replied, the room is really small, we'll change it tomorrow. The next morning there is no water to take a shower. At the reception we pointed out the promised room change and that there was no water in the bathroom. In the evening they tell us that they won't change the room because it is the same as the others and there was no point in changing them. plus they didn't have other rooms and that the problem was only our problem, there was a bed for 2 people so we had to make it work, even calling me a liar because they had the room checked and the water in the afternoon was ok. After several attempts (maybe I raised my voice a little) another receptionist comes out and warns me to call the police. I agree, I say, call her willingly. He replies that they would have agreed with the hotel because they are German and I am not. I convince the other receptionist to check the room, she goes up and comes back saying the room is really small, I'll change it for you. Terrible service, rude and unwilling to accommodate customer requests. and finally I repeat, for 350 Euros per night!

The Dormero is a decent hotel with decent size rooms and easy access to the train line. The rooms are quiet large, with two double beds put together to make queen bed. The TV console is awesome with 2 speakers mounted next to the TV. The lighting is really well done on the room, daylight (blue) or yellow light. The hotel has it's own parking lot. I am not sure if you have to pay or the hotel validates it for the guests. The hallway had a wired stench, smelled somewhat like natural gas. I didn't have breakfast, so no comment on the quality/cost. The main reason I took a star off is that the minibar is advertised as complimentary but if not stuffed with adequate supplies. It had 2 bottles of water. For additional bottles, I had to buy them at the reception. This is misleading

Nice concept - and sure much much (much!) nicer than the horrible Maritim it used to be. Stayed two nights with my 23-head staff - and ran from one little nightmare to another, from room not being ready/ fully serviced (at 8pm!), lousy laundry service and disastrous dinner service - and no one taking care of us. Sorry, not good enough. by the way: we did actually get stuck in an elevator once in a dangerous situation. So the carpet shown in one of the image below is not funny.

I've been staying at this hotel for a week now for a work trip that brought me to Hannover. On our night off a few of my co-workers and friends decided to hang out at the bar and eventually we got hungry and wanted pizza around 1am. We couldn't get food at the bar so I went up to my room to order 24 hour room service and got a pizza. When it came I brought it down to share with my friends and the night manager told me I couldn't eat downstairs. I put the pizza down on a table while other friends ordered more pizza from the front desk and went into the bar to tell everyone else that I couldn't eat downstairs so I would have to be up in the room. When I came back outside my other friends were still ordering so I stood there next to my pizza waiting for them. It took awhile and I was hungry so I took a bite and to my surprise, the night manager rudely yelled at me and told me to not eat the pizza there because it was the law and he would call the police. I was upset so I responded, "I can't take a bite while waiting for my friends?!" And he said, "NO YOU CANT TAKE A FUCKING BITE NOW GO BACK TO YOUR FUCKING ROOM!" I was shocked and asked his name, he said "Tobias Klingmann, don't forget it." Interesting standards for customer service in a hospitality business.

Great hotel. Don't know how they do it for that price. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel big room, great bathroom, two big TVs, free wi-fi, free mini-bar (1 beer and soft drinks, but still, pretty cool). Helpful staff (apart from the restaurant).
