It is not my first time to visit the Dormy Inn chain with the onsen available in every hotel. As always, the room is spacious and clean, and the onsen has both indoor and outdoor bath. It is within 2 minutes walk from Kanazawa station with easy access. There are numerous washing machines (free of charge!) and dryers available, so you don’t have to queue for washing machines if you had a long trip and need your clothes to be washed. There is a wall of manga outside the onsen and washing area for killing time. I will definitely continue to choose Dormy Inn if available.

Cannot beat this location, next to the station. Room is sizable and not cramped. However, i used the lint roller and there was so much hair. Shown on the photo was my sixth sheet. Been to so many hotels and none have much issues. Use a lint roller folks to avoid sleeping with other people’s hair. Otherwise really nice hotel. They have free ramen in the evening. They also have a nice onsen facility.

We stayed at Dormy Inn Kanazawa Hotel. It was $250 for 2 adults for two nights. It includes buffet breakfast, public onsen baths, free washer, dryer (need coin), & free snack and alcohol. There's even a manga reading room for you to relax after taking a bath. The food was overall better than expected so that makes me want to go back! I especially love their freshly cooked local specialty omurice during breakfast. I really enjoy having free ice cream and snacks after taking a bath late at night too, that was my favorite part of staying there. We even got free soba as night time snack. Their baths and sauna was good enough but not too memorable for me since I have been to traditional ryokan with better onsen so I can't remember much about the baths, but I still enjoyed it. It's hard to find real onsen inside city area anyway so this was better than nothing. I really appreciate that Dormy Inn offered onsens! The onsen was clean and definitely helped rejuvenated my energy from the long travel. The room was roomy enough for luggages to be layed out unlike the small room at APA Hotel at Tokyo. The double bed was comfy enough and fits two adult, pillow was OK, the room and bathroom did smelled a bit but not as bad as when I was staying at Okuninu Onsen Kaniyu so it was tolerable. I find it funny yet innovative they placed an emergency water jug next to the toilet in bathroom. There's even emergency supplies and potty corner inside the elevator in case you get stuck! This was definitely a great hotel chain to stay at in Japan. I'm so glad I was able to find this kind of hotel with onsen! Not many offers that! Everything was clean and overall stay was very comfortable. I definitely would stay at another Dormy Inn again for when I'm in the city!

Definitely a great hotel to choose when in Kanazawa. Close to the station and a nearby shopping mall. Rooms are good overall with no major complaints. Lots of free amenities (unlimited popsicles and coffee after onsen, late night ramen). The breakfast buffet is really good with a wide variety of Japanese specialties. Onsen is decently sized and well stocked. Would definitely choose again!

Love the Dormy Inn chain! Will need to stay in more of their hotels during my next Japan trip. So many freebies: onsen, popsicles, yogurt, nighttime ramen! This location is a 5 min walk from Kanazawa station. Great food options in the mall beside. There’s an open air onsen as well which is lovely in the cold weather.

Best Hotel with onsen bath and daily free soba. Love this chain of hotel with their high quality of onsen bath and also free soba every night. The price is value worth for a decent size too. This one also very near to the station and mall.

We enjoyed our stay here for a span of three nights. A good proximity to the Kanazawa main station and within easy walking distance to the Omi-Cho market and even the Kanazawa Castle as well as the Kenrokuen Gardens.

Yelp
We stayed here two nights and it was a great experience. It is clean, rooms are large in comparison to many we've seen and they offer everything you could possibly need. We didn't take them up on their free suppertime ramen, but who could possibly complain about free. It's also in a great central location. We were able to walk to all of the sites and we were surrounded by a variety of food options. Now the onsen was an incredible experience. It was my first time, so I don't have much to compare it to except for western spas. In my opinion it topped many/most western spas with their offerings and minus all the put on "airs" that are so common at spas. I'll definitely be doing this again.

Yelp
The inn itself is pretty fantastic. The service, amenities, and cleanliness are top-knotch, and at surprisingly competitive prices from everything else we could find in the area. The place has hot springs and complimentary noodle service too?! Count me in! I can't say much bad about Dormy Inn, except that maybe their in-house noodles are just so-so. But a late night snack for free? I can't complain.

Yelp
Dormy Inn in Kanazawa. Spent one night here and was very impressed. Was able to book a room for about $160 US - about half of all the other local hotels. Staff was very helpful and tolerant of my lack of Japanese. Room was roomy, full size, and very comfortable. Room was very clean and well stocked. The have a free hot spring and sauna. Did not use it but it looks very nice. Free WiFi and "Noodle service", which sadly I did not have time to try. One block from the Kanazawa train station and across the street from the Focus shopping mall. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
