"Dornier’s modern cellar and production facility is quite different from the traditional 18th- and 19th-century buildings you’ll see in the winelands. For example, a pool above the cellar regulates the temperature of the wines in an eco-friendly way. Its reflective surface also helps keep the entire subterranean building cool. The cellar’s overall design pays homage to the Dornier family’s history in the aviation industry. Contact the winery in advance to arrange a tour of the facility, then enjoy a tasting of award-winning wines like the Dornier Donatus White (a blend of chenin blanc and rich sémillon), the Dornier Merlot (with hints of plum, mint, and roasted nuts), and the Cocoa Hill Sauvignon Blanc (featuring notes of mulberry, roasted oak, vanilla, and spice)."

Great experience overall - the property is beautiful and wine pairing with a mixed platter was well served. However, service wasn’t as great and I felt the attendant wasn’t much in the vibe of explaining - she would just state her prepared text and go. But again, good experience overall.

Dornier.. an absolute MUST. Each of the glasses of wine was better than the previous glass. The setting is beautiful, and the wine barrels and cellar are kept under a massive pond.. keeping the wine at the perfect temperature. We bought lots of bottles of wine as each one was our favorite! The setting is absolutely spectacular! The wine labels are shaped like the cellar's roof. Our server Milla was extremely knowledgeable and made everything sound interesting. And it was absolutely perfect weather!

Had some light lunch here today along with a wine tasting with some friends. Absolutely amazing views of the mountains near Stellenbosch. They offer several different wine tasting options and we did the basic version. Wines are good quality and the waiter was very insightful in the wine presentation and ba ground. We also had a cheese platter that was amazing. The call their pizza flat bread and is also recommended. One recommendation from my side is that they offer clean glasses for the new wines. During our tasting they just added the next wine to the empty glass of the previous wine. This is personal preference through. Restroom cleanliness 5 /5 Restroom convenience 5/5 All in all a great outing.

It's a beautiful wine estate that's well worth a visit. The architecture of the cellar is on another level. They have a great selection of wines and good food. Milla was phenomenal and very knowledgeable.

What an amazing estate. We booked for a cellar tour which was very informative. Shout out to Jordan for going the extra mile. The cheese platter was fresh and tasty. Dornier leaves you feeling calm and perfect spot for a chill outing. We cannot wait for our next visit at this stunning farm.

An architectural vineyard definitely worth visiting, it has been our favourite wine experience so far in South Africa. The staff were very knowledgeable and passionate. The charcuterie platter was excellent! 👌
