Fantastic place. Great atmosphere and even better food and drinks. Had the squid ink pasta and it’s the best version of that dish I’ve ever eaten. Plenty of variety on the menu. Alexias and Mattias (I’m sure I got the spelling wrong) were fantastic at the bar where I sat.

We walked about 2 miles to try this place after seeing the pictures online. When we arrived, we didn't think it was the right place looking at it from the outside, we went in and it in-fact was the correct location. The inside is beautiful along with the staff! Service was great, and food was the best we’ve had in Argentina thus far! It was definitely worth the walk! A++ in my book!

Excellent table service and cool place. Since it’s Buenos Aires and the pasta is amazing I wouldn’t say it was five star but I’m hard to please. It was exceptionally yummy!!! Definitely come here if you want super good pasta. It took almost an hour to get the main dish and the place wasn’t busy but that’s sort of par for the course in Argentina.

Wonderful Italian cuisine served with style and grace by the warm, friendly staff in this family owned gem we found by accident while sightseeing near the Presidential Palace. The portions were large and could easily be shared. We didn't have room for dessert, which was disappointing. They get busy for dinner so reservations are recommended. By far the best food we ate in Buenos Aires!

Listen. I had to come back to this place because once wasn’t enough. When I tell you then food was unbelievably good, the food was actually fantastic! Let’s start with the surreal and fresh bread, the refreshing summer wine and the fabulous house appetizer. Omg! Those, by themselves, were already enough to write a full 5 start review. I shared the veggie salad and the mix of the greens with roasted pumpkin plus avocado mash plus sesame seeds and cashew nuts was to die for. Every single dish was balanced, well seasoned, just perfection. I highly recommend to order any pasta, you won’t regret. The staff is very attentive and will make sure you have a wonderful time and I have to give a big shout to Florencia for being an amazing waitress. The ambiance and atmosphere took me back to Rome (very cliché since it’s an authentic Italian restaurant). I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Carolina, our server, was amazing and helped us have one of the best meals! We loved everything we ordered, from the wine to the amazing pastas to the dessert! Highly recommend - this is a great place and not a far walk from the casa rosada

There were some great things about D'Oro to love: the energy, the vibe, the central location near Plaza de Mayo, the portions sizes, and the excellent service. But in the end, unfortunately, the food quality was simply not among those things I loved. I started with the meatballs appetizer, and while the dish was well presented, the meat was too tough and the sauce didn't have much flavor. The dish also needed some fresh parmesan, which wasn't offered but was brought upon request. I wouldn't order this again. I opted for the chicken scaloppini, with lemon sauce and capers. This wasn't terrible, but it was average. The chicken was a little rubbery but the flavor met my expectations. The side arugula salad needed more dressing. Like I said earlier, the service and vibe of the place were awesome. But with all the options for Italian food in Buenos Aires, I was a bit disappointed.

Food was amazing. The ambience was also great. I have many food allergies and they accommodate me without problems, they even baked bread safe for me.
