I stayed here on a work trip and I really have to say was a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful and the staff so welcoming. The rooms spacious and clean and warm. The food in the hotel was really nice and such a great variety. The hardest part was choosing what to eat. Food was also quick which I liked as we were hungry from travelling. Restraunt is also 24 hours which I think although I didn't need it is really handy to have if you are travelling late. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again soon. 5 stars

It was a great service. Happy I stayed there I was pretty central and was able to get around quiet quickly. This hotel is located right next to “Aldgate” and 10 min walk from Liverpool station! You are about 15 min walk from Shortditch. This hotel has a really good rooftop bar, drinks excellent. The breakfast restaurant needs a makeover but the service nice and polite.

4.5/5 Great hotel, just a few nitpicks: The rooms are not big enough to accommodate two single beds unless you are close friends and weren't configured as such when we arrived, the included breakfast menu is limited but my omelettes were good, and the shower door opens outwards so the floor is always soaked after a shower with barely any space to put stuff on the vanity. Otherwise, great staff, comfortable beds and steps away from Aldgate station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Rooms are old and outdated. Carpet in the room has stains that are Obvious. No ironing boards/irons in rooms. Which is annoying as a lot of professionals stay here. On arrival no complimentary waters. Was sent on request - waited an hour. Very hard to reach the main line front desk. During my busy day, I called 13 times, with no response. A little frustrating. Food in restaurant was OK. I would recommend to eat out. Bar was good. Staff were attentive.

Arrived to check in with a slightly chaotic reception. Several police officers present and a family with buggy u able to enter as key not available for non revolving door. Room comfortable and hotel clean and pleasant. Shower door leaked in both rooms. Plentiful numbers of staff but didn't feel the same welcome I had in a similar standard hotel nearby.

The room was lovely and clean, with a great view. Apart from the rooms, we felt it was lacking. There was no lounge. The club on the top floor is run separately from the hotel, so you have to book a table in advance to get in, the doormen were a bit snobby and impolite. The music is so loud you can hear it from the ground floor. But the rooms seemed to be sound isolated. Point is, on the weekend you’ll find a long row of people in the lobby trying to get into a club. The hotel restaurant’s food (vq) was absolutely terrible. Like, really really really terrible. Really disappointing.

I spent 2 nights in the hotel. The water in the bathroom was cold. The drain of the shower was blocked so using the shower created flooding (see picture). On the first night I reported the issue to desk staff but they did not fix the issue so also the second night there was cold water and a flooded shower. In addition 1 out of 3 elevators were out of order so long queues in front of the elevators. Staff on site poorly skilled, the breakfast was below average. Overall experience was disappointing and so the hotel was definitely not worth the room rate.

One room was bad, but they kindly moved me to a beautiful one. This hotel is near the tube (subway) so extremely convenient, has a good restaurant with excellent service inside. I'd definitely skip the massage they offer not worth it. Definitely go check out the rooftop bar great views and you can see the London bridge.
