Dorsett Gold Coast

Beautiful hotel. Large rooms, clean, bed very comfortable. Executive lounge was amazing. Food was plentiful with a good selection. Breakfast was superb. The service from Isadora was 5 star, friendly and attentive. Cannot speak highly enough of the overall stay. Love The Dorsett and will be back soon.

The two time I have stayed here, I have been greeted with fantastic fast but professional and relaxed service (first time the gave my daughter a bear, made our trip). Once inside, the room gives calm, quiet, relaxing vibes. The difference tropical carpet vs standard mono colours, really elevates the space. The personal touch having your name on the TV as you enter and enjoy your personalised stay. Amazing showers with electric mirrors to stop the misting up. Pool is incredibly long perfect to have your own space. Parking is very close. Pacific fair is just over the road. Perfect location for class, privacy and close to anything you need.

Review from my daughter who hadddddd to post lol - This place was amazing, the service was great. We ordered room service it said a 40 min wait, which we received in about half the time. Thee staff have been great, they were so freindly especially rebecca at front desk. I had to ask her a few questions and she answered them with a smile. So far great experience but the parking has been a pain during the upgrades. But if you stay here you must see rebecca she is one of the best staff here. - Summer.

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend and had a really enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic with easy access to public transport, and the city views and outdoor pool area were great. We also had daily breakfast at The Star Casino, which was a great bonus. When we first arrived, there was an issue with our room, but Marcella at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable. She resolved the issue straight away and even upgraded us to a better room, which really elevated our stay. Her service made a big difference and stood out as a highlight of the experience. Thanks again to Marcella for her help – we'd definitely stay here again!

The room was nice enough and the facilities were lovely as well, but parking was an immediate challenge upon arrival. There wasn’t anywhere to set down and check in first before the hunt for a park began. The check in experience was easy enough and pleasant, we received bottled water upon arrival which was a nice touch. The plan was to get room service (it was my birthday, room service is a fun novelty for me). 3-4 of the restaurant options to order from were unavailable on a Friday night, so we wound up leaving to go and get dinner elsewhere. In the morning I figured I’d get breakfast through room service because I hadn’t purchased it upon booking the room. You can’t really do that either though, your only options are cabinet items or toasties from the cafe down stairs. I think this hotel is good if you plan on going to the casino etc. I didn’t realise it was associated with the star when I booked, to be honest. It’s nice enough, but my stay experience was just kind of inconvenient in some ways. Nice enough facilities and comfy bed though!

We stayed 3 nights in the Dorsett, our room was beautiful and comfortable, a bit old but the view and the service were stunning. All the staff was lovely, the receptionists were attentive and made us feel welcome. We had the most beautiful breakfast at the lounge. The food was tasty but the coffee machine is a bit old fashion or tricky. The friendly staff offered to help most of the guests, so thank you very much Denis for your kindness. We will definitely be back next time we visit the Gold Coast

The Dorsett is close to the beach, the Oasis, Pacific Fair, and so many delicious restaurants and cafes in broad beach. I felt particularly safe amongst the nightlife all the way from the casino to the beach, which is unheard of where I am from. The staff are so amazing and generous with the amenities such as bottled water, coffee pods, milk, and any other reasonable request. For example; I sprained my ankle and they brought me ice to apply in ziplock bags. The concierge staff in particular are kind and professional. Please forgive my spelling as I only caught the name quickly; Kahn at the front desk provided exceptional service. 4 star for rooms as I only requested one room turnover in a week long stay (they offered a daily turn down, but for economical reasons I did not allow this) and the toilet paper wasn't restocked, the used glasses/cups were not restocked, and I ran out of shower wash and had to use the hand soap lol no big deal, still a great hotel.

My first time here and after trying to navigate the arrival, parking and finding my way in the experience improved. Lovely room, the executive lounge was great and Isabela had a friendly welcoming atmosphere to add to the experience. The location is excellent and I even saw whales from the lounge.
