The Dorsett Hotel has an amazing location, just an easy walk to the beach and local cafés, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The pool was a real highlight, offering fantastic views over Broadbeach city, and we also loved that you can use The Star Hotel pool as well. The rooms are stylish, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, and I also loved their sustainability initiative. The Casino Harvest Restaurant and Uncle Su at The Star Hotel are both within easy walking distance, which was absolutely perfect for us. We booked a quick, last-minute night away and ended up having an exceptional stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Dorsett Gold Coast on New Year’s Eve, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is very beautiful and feels brand new ✨ A big shout-out to the housekeeping team, the room was extremely clean and spotless. The reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We even received two complimentary drinks during check-in and a free gift, which was a lovely surprise 🍹🎁 The location is excellent, right next to The Star Casino and only about a 10-minute walk to the beach 🌊 The infinity pool is beautiful, and my daughter absolutely loved it 💙 The highlight of our stay was definitely the New Year’s fireworks. We could see them clearly right in front of our balcony such an amazing and unforgettable view 🎆 Thank you, Dorsett Gold Coast, for a wonderful stay. 1K+/night so worthy. We truly enjoyed it and would love to come back 😊

We stayed at Dorsett Gold Coast for a family trip and booked two Deluxe Twin Rooms. We were a bit disappointed to learn that this room type cannot be arranged as connecting rooms, which would have been more convenient for us. Aside from that, the overall stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean and the size was comfortable for our needs. The highlight of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. It was perfect for enjoying water play with the kids, and we loved being able to swim both at night and early in the morning. The pool hours 6am-9pm were incredibly useful for our family. There was a small issue after checkout, but the hotel handled it quickly and professionally, which we really appriciated. One thing I feel is worth mentioning is the difference in freindliness among the reception staff. While two team members were warm and welcoming, one staff member’s noticeably indifferernt attitude made us feel a bit uncomfortabel. It reminded me how much a single interaction can shape the overall impression of a hotel. I hope this feedback can be taken as an opportunity for improvement, as the rest of our experience was lovely. Overall, we had a good stay and especially enjoyed the pool facilities.

Had a really enjoyable stay at The Dorsett in Broadbeach. A much needed night away, me and a good friend of mine who also has young children. It was perfect to unwind, enjoy the facilities like the pool and be in such close proximity to Pacific Fair and some of Broadbeach’s best restaurants. Rooms were clean, modern and equipped with everything we needed. Would happily stay again!

Pros - Great Location. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic staff. Amazing pool (espec for kids) Exec lounge access perfect for feeding the kids during the day (eg breaky swim 2nd breaky!) Great food in the lounge - lovely breakfast and snacks and a great view! Cons - poor bedside light for reading - not bright enough. Exec Twin - v small beds. V small fridge. V limited hanging space in room - espec for kids with wet swimmers - need more hanging rails. Lifts v slow at peak times. Parking not on site - have to drive round to Casino parking. No valet service. Overall well priced for service, location and amenities. A few issues which could be tweaked.

The Dorsett hotel has an amazing location. It is an easy walking distance to the beach and local cafes. I also love the pool because it has a great view over Broadbeach city. The rooms are really nice and are designed really well. They give you the option to be sustainable and give you a voucher, if you choose not to have your room cleaned and towels changed daily. A great incentive for the environment. The cafe is amazing. I recommend the avocado on toast. It’s delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Dorsett several times & we absolutely love it! The location is perfect & staff are always so professional & friendly, with a special mention for Francisca who is a gem on the front desk! The rooms are always so fresh & clean. The pool is what drew us to the Dorsett initially, so we keep coming back. Thank you & we will be back again soon. 🍸😊✨️

We stayed in Dorsett for 5 nights and 6 days as our baby-moon leisure time in December 2025. We got a standard queen bed room as we expected in level 18. Had a good view of partial towers and ocean and visible swimming pool on the ground which was nice. For check in, we warmly welcomed by reception and they explained all amenities and accesses to us clearly. We rented a car to save time to visit different places around so used the carpark with cost of $20 daily (I expected free carpark for 4 star hotel which was a bit disappointed). In our first day of stay, we got a bottle of wine with yummy dark chocolate in our room for free as a welcome treat which was perfect! The hotel has environmental friendly cleaning procedure in a way that if you don’t ask to make up the room, they will give you a $10 voucher of drinks in their cafe which was amazing. We got $40 drink voucher in total and requested only one room make up during stay. We booked for daily breakfast and we got a self service breakfast with a perfect variety of foods and snacks which made our life easy every morning. The hotel is located in perfect location with easy access to surfers paradise beach with 5-7 minutes drive. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
