Dos Angeles Del Mar Bed and Breakfast

I absolutely loved my stay here!! We came to visit for my husband's birthday. The room and building are impeccably clean. We had beach chairs and beach towels to use, and parked ourselves on the beach for a relaxing morning, and then a swim in the pool in the afternoon. Also breakfast is included every day, with fresh coffee, fruit, and pastries! This place calmed my mind and soul, peaceful quiet and relaxation! Also, John has so much local knowledge about restaurants and surf spots! He makes you feel like family!

My wife and I along with my two adult daughters just spent 7 days at Johns guesthouse this February. It was just such a wonderful place to hang out and base our activities from. We felt completely at home immediately thanks to John and Dylan and even got Dylan to play a few rounds of cards in the evenings and shared big laughs with us. The physical beauty of the place is stunning and the pool is perfect for cooling off and reading a book by. We loved the breakfast especially the fresh papayas and pineapples and was a perfect start to each day. Beds were very comfortable and there is a tv in the room but we never watched it. If you want to learn to surf (my girls did) make sure you talk to John first because he will hook you up with real pros that actually care about the kind of surfing experience you get(shoutout to surf 787!) We will return again someday, i really havent been anywhere more beautiful than Rincon and will stay here again when we do.

We had the loveliest stay with John and Dylan. The property was so lovely and well taken-care of. The location was perfect. But by far the best part was the hospitality and kindness of John and his son Dylan!

The room was very cozy, everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. John and his family were always attentive to make sure everything was fine and we didn't lack anything. The breakfast was 10/10. The pool area was very clean, and it was a very nice place to relax. Well located, close to restaurants and the beach. It was a very good experience.

My husband and I spent a week at this wonderful bed and breakfast. John and his family have created a real slice of paradise. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the pool area is surrounded by beautiful trees and plants, and there is a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. John will happily accommodate your requests. He and his children go out of their way to make your stay a perfect one. It truly feels like a stay at a friend’s home. Our favorite part was a morning chat with John when he shared personal stories and offered advice about things to do and places to go in the area. We had a car and since we were there after the high season, we had no trouble finding parking. We’ve already recommended the place to people we just met in El Combate. We highly recommend this place and hope to return in coming years.

From the moment we arrived we felt like we had been life long friends with John, the host of Dos Angeles. His place is up on a hill overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed walking to the nearby Sandy beach and watching the expert surfers. We enjoyed meals at the many nearby restaurants, including Jack's Shack, Tamboo, the Red Flamboyan, and the Kahuna. John will even let you in on a local's secret spot to get home made Thai food. || After a day at the beach I enjoyed an afternoon dip in his pool. ||The daily breakfast has many options that are sure to please everyone. I most enjoyed the fresh fruit. This place is close to everything but also removed enough so its quiet at night and away from the busier scene near the beaches. I can't wait to return next year.||This place is up a steep hill. My husband and I are in our late 50's and had no problem making the trek up and down. Sometimes twice a day. The residential road is not busy. It was good to get a bit of exercise after sitting on the beach all day!

I have stayed at many places over years of travel, and I can confidently say that Dos Angeles Del Mar is the best accommodation I have ever experienced. John is the kindest, most welcoming and generous host. He has cultivated a peaceful environment with a lovely atmosphere. John is willing to spend time talking with guests and consistently checks in to make sure everyone is comfortable. His recommendations - from places for the best local food to which breaks were the best for surfing - were incredible. I told him I was vegan and he made sure I had plenty of options at breakfast. The location of this property is walking distance to Rincon’s gorgeous Sandy Beach and lively Puntas. It is in a safe and quiet area that is convenient to all of Rincon’s hotspots. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with local flora and the pool is pristine. I will definitely stay here again soon!

This special place is very beautiful and relaxing. John is a wonderful host and makes sure that you feel at home and answers any questions you have, and shares his local knowledge. The rooms are very comfortable, with a little fridge and microwave. All morning, he prepares a delicious breakfast with coffee, local fruit, pastries, anything you want!!! Fill up your belly, go on adventure, catch the sunset and then come back and jump in the pool! A perfect day!

Dos Angeles B&B in Rincon is a short walk to Sandy Beach and is a beautiful guest house in a beautiful part of Puerto Rico. John, the landlord, is a congenial and helpful host. The room, as well as the entire property, is very clean and appears all new. John puts on a very nice breakfast consisting of hard boiled eggs, bagels or pastry, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. and, of course, good coffee! We enjoyed our two-night stay and found it to be a good location to use as a base to tour the western part of Puerto Rico.

Dos Angeles B&B is a lovely, private, picturesque place to unwind & relax with your partner. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. The hostess Yolanda was so nice & friendly. She made us feel like we were home in her place. The restaurants & beaches are all close by & you will love the beach for snorkeling. There are also many inexpensive places to eat nearby. We found a lovely wine shop in the town of Rincon and had a wine tasting & bought a few bottles as well, since the wine was tasty & inexpensive. You will Love Dos Angeles B&B, it's a hidden gem in Rincon.

Fantastic spot in Rincón! May not be the best spot if you're planning on staying in your room the entire vacation, but who would do that?! Rooms have A/C, running water, and a backup generator for whenever the power goes out, so you'll never be uncomfortable! There is also off street parking, so you don't have to worry about your car getting hit. No, this isn't a 5-star resort, but it is clean, cool, and convenient! And Yolanda is so warm and welcoming!!!

One of my best lodging experiences. It was my first time in Puerto Rico, and DADM made it that much more memorable. Plus, Rincón, is an awesome area to find scuba experiences. There's a very nearby sanctuary that is accessible by boat. Highly recommend! A+++

John was an amazing host! GREAT SERVICE, ROOM AND PROPERTY! He upgraded us as a surprise, the room's view was spectacular! Best balance of helpful and attentive with privacy. Quick walking distance to all the best surf spots and bars without the noise. Plan on ubering back up the mountain though if you have an overindulgence evening! We are already looking at the calendar to come back and I would highly recommend to anyone who likes a little higher end, boutique hotels- this is it!

We spent 4 nights at Dos Angeles del Mar. Great, simple place with easy access to one of the best (sandiest) beaches in Rincon. The owners John and Yola take great care of the property. Nice, clean rooms with well-groomed swimming pool in the yard. They provided a simple continental breakfast daily. (cereal, milk, bagels, yogurt, and coffee) They had good restaurant tips and surf reports. If you're looking for a quiet, clean place to stay in this surfer town, Dos Angeles is a great bet.

We stayed here one night & it was fine. It is a very nice guesthouse. We had the ground floor room - it was nothing special, but clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good. The owner was helpful about what to do locally. Parking was easy. Wifi for our room was not consistent - sometimes it went out.

Where do I start? This has become my home away from home in PR. Your hosts John and Yolanda are now family we long to visit. My son and I have called Dos Angeles home for the past 5 years. Rooms are varied to accommodate nearly every guest or group size. We've traveled there comfortably together and with other families. Never disappointed, always well cared for and close to everything in the area. John and Yolanda are not just your inn keepers they are gifted and generous souls. Enjoy!!!!!!

Nightmare!! Horrible customer service!! We stayed here one night- we were going to stay three but after a horrible check in experience and nights sleep, we knew this wasn't how we wanted to spend our vacation. The hotel however (John) would not allow us to pay for just the one night. As if our dissatisfaction of staying there wasn't enough- he charged us for the entire 3 nights as well as various other fees for not staying. Do not waste your time or money! There are tons of nice places to stay in Rincon- with nice people! This place is not one of them!

Yolanda and John are now like family! Nice clean rooms, great coffee, and a good continental breakfast! Any questions or need any suggestions, they are always happy to help! Our second time and we will always go back!!

Myself, my husband, whom grew up in PR and our friends from Wisconsin stayed here for a week. It was hands down the best place for a relaxing vacation . It was beautiful , clean, and the owners John and Yolanda were amazing. Very into our needs and making sure we had a great time and new where all the best places to go were. John on many occasions went above and beyond , truly a great business man. There was a super breakfast every morning waiting for us. The beauty of the grounds for which the guesthouse sits on is breathtaking . We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Dos Angeles Del Mar to any body. We will For Sure return when we come back to PR. It's hard not to like this placer. They are so earnest in making sure this the place for you. Earnest about the rooms, earnest about the pool, earnest about the grounds, not so earnest about keeping the family noise down. Air conditioners most important job is to cover over all the noise, both from the family unit and all the barnyard activities that take place all hours of the day. My advise? Set the ac loud and spend as little time in the room as possible. After one night on the bed, your back will thank you.
