Dos Dos

I came here on a date and really enjoyed being able to sit outside at the bar to eat — the downtown patio atmosphere was great, and walking through the restaurant itself, I liked the overall vibe inside as well. The bartender was friendly and took our order in a timely manner. Food-wise, prices were reasonable at around $12 per item, but nothing really blew me away — pretty standard, filler-style Mexican food (rice, beans, and a bit of meat). Personally, I’m not big on kitschy spots, so it’s probably not a place I’d return to. That said, if you’re leaving Cowboys and want a late-night bite, it’s a convenient option. I was tempted by the snickerdoodle ice-cream cookie... maybe next time I’ll swing by just for dessert. side note, after we asked for our bill, the bartender basically treated us as if we were no longer there. another couple walked in and sat at the bar and he was focused on them. very friendly as if they were regulars, or maybe personal friends, either way, he was clearly done with us. If I were leaving the tip, he wouldn't have gotten much. treat me with respect while I'm there. the whole time I'm there.

Awesome place to get your taco or burrito fix 😋. Only been in once, but the burrito 🌯 I had was just that amazing! Would definitely recommend it and I do plan to come back. The only thing that was missing was Iced water. All the water had no ice in it, which is strange especially during the summer. Other than that, this place is pretty good, so check it out y'all 🤘

The house-made chips were delicious as were the chicken nachos - so many delicate and beautiful flavors in one bite. And the margaritas were divinely tasty. Service was perfection. Reasonably priced menu, decent portions, vegetarian options.

Place is a little on the pricier side but overall the food was pretty good, I want to say these were the best nachos I’ve had so far. My company ordered 2 bowls and they were a little small for the price but both people were satisfied. Their horchata was really good, so was the esquite. Recommend if you got the money to spend.

The house shot was cheap and good, the nachos and quesabirria were a great deal, and the decor was clean and bright. A lovely stop on an afternoon downtown.

The shredded chicken nachos were just the right size for one, maybe a little bigger serving than I needed, but could not stop eating they were so good. Fresh chips and toppings. Sat by the open wal with a view of the park. Gorgeous! Oh, the skinny Margarita was easy to drink...maybe too easy! Lol. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been wanting try Dos Dos for a while and tonight did not disappoint. The service was great, and the atmosphere is slightly elevated, which is overdue and welcomed in the Springs. Drinks and food, spot on. Well done!

I came here with my daughter and sat outside. I asked for water right away, but it never came. It wasn’t until our food was brought out that I asked the person delivering it for water, which she thankfully brought immediately. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. The tacos were cold, and it was obvious the tortillas had been sitting out for quite a while—both mine and my daughter’s. On top of that, the meat was full of fatty, unchewable pieces, as shown in the photo. Eventually, I had to stop eating because I was constantly spitting pieces out. It completely ruined the meal. If you're wondering why I didn’t say anything sooner, it’s because we never saw our actual server until it was time to pay. When I mentioned I wasn’t happy with the meal, his response was simply, “Aww, I’m sorry.” No effort to make it right. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The food and service were both disappointing.

Everything ordered was fresh, good portion sizes and full of flavor. The chicken nachos were amply topped, queso was hot (temp) and tasty, and the dos crunch was awesome. The tacos were also good, double decker the way to go with queso inside! Will be back!

Stopped here for lunch. Their chips and queso was pretty good, just salty here and there. My main entree was the shredded tacos, and they were really good. Chicken was moist, and there was a great balance of flavor. The service was good, nothing to complain about there.

Dos dos tastes really yummy, and is super cute and has a great aesthetic. I don't like the backless chairs though because I have some back issues so I had to sit propped up against a window. They also have no booster seats for kids so I spent most of my time wrestling my child around. Service was ok, prices were high for the little amount you get. I also got food poisoning and I'm not saying it was Dos dos but everyone I went with also got sick... But my in laws come here frequently and love it.

Deserves a 4.5 star rating but I rounded up. I tried the shredded chicken tacos and they were very good. I also got an order of the tacos al pastor and they were delicious. Meat not too dry, nice pineapple flavor profile in short yummy. Taco place with a bar and a young vibe. Fast service in and out but you can linger if you have the time.

Was in the area and craving some Burria tacos. Since I wanted my husband to try Dos Dos, it was the perfect choice. We made it for Happy Hour so our server suggested their house margarita which was refreshing and tasty. The tacos were really delicious! It was a little dark inside making it difficult to read the menu but we really liked the ceiling lighting decor. We had great service since it was before during off hours. If you're looking for good tacos and margs, Dos Dos is the place!

Good Stuff! Breakfast Burritos are super good! So are the breakfast tacos. Lunch is decent. The margaritas are very very tasty! The chairs are a bit low to the ground... but if they are too low for you, head to the back, there is bar seating back there!. Enjoy!

My girlfriends and I went here to celebrate my birthday a few weeks back! I got the tacos and a mango margarita. The portions were a bit small, and the tacos were pretty "standard". Not much going on but a solid taco! Margaritas were amazing and really hit the spot, especially since it was so hot outside and there was no AC inside. We'd definitely come back for the great service and drinks!

Always delicious, highly recommend the bowls, they are amazing and go perfect with some chips and salsa.... Plus a beer of course

It wasn't the best. The food doesn't taste authentic at all, customer service was okay. The server never really came by to see if we need more water. Definitely wouldn't come back.

On our second visit, I finally ordered my long-awaited Spicy Margarita and Dos Crunch. Deceptively American, yet delightfully delicious Americanized Mexican cuisine. Indulge in the flavors with the sauces and guacamole for a truly satisfying experience! I also like how we have an option of ordering digitally or in-person, whichever is faster We'll be back soon!

Grabbed a quick dinner last night and the food was fantastic. Service was quick and the restaurant is quite cute- you can watch food being made. The horchata is best I've had, I had the eskites - delicious and ordered carne asada nachos- equally delicious - I definitely recommend and will be returning

I love coming here, especially when we want a quick meal before exploring downtown. Service is always fast, the food is good and over the warmer months, it is nice to sit on the patio or inside with the windows open and a view of the park. The bowl is my favorite menu item with carne asana

These wonderful humans shows an out of towner a good time. They were very hospitable and held a great positive demeanor. I came for the tacos but left with more than expected . Such a. Kind wonderful bartender Codi! Make sure you tip her fat !

Our first time here and we loveddd it! The staff was friendly and we were in and out in 30 minutes. The food was amazinggg. I'm Mexican and these are the best birria tacos I've had since I've been here in calorado. The nachos were also delicious! We usually have left overs but not this time! We didn't even leave a chip behind! The horchata was good it did not taste like the packet ones. My husband had one of their carne asada burritos and it was big and well worth the price! The seating was also very asthetically pleasing. The inside vibe is great! I have no bad things to say about this place. It is now one of our favorite spots and will be here more often!

Came in for a quick to-go order. Ordered and food was ready in 5-10 minutes. I ordered the supreme vegetarian. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Pretty good price of food and tons of food for the price.

Love the Mexican corn and the plantains would have given it five starts if I could have left with a full horchata when asking why they did not fill it they stated because I asked for no ice? Little silly.

ordered from them twice on Door Dash. each time they "forgot" my to-go margarita. I called and stated that my drink was forgotten and their response was to come by and pick it up: the whole point of DoorDash is not having to drive. the second time they forgot my drink yet again, so I had it sent by another driver and it was half full and i paid $27 for it. this place is a JOKE

I believe dos dos is affiliated with dos Santos, and I honestly prefer it. Better menu, less crowded and slightly cheaper. I really liked the tofu options they have as well! It's more burrito focused, so you can have a bowl, burrito or breakfast burrito (until 11am). The tofu burrito was huge and delicious! We all shared chips and guacamole and I love their seasoned chips. The inside is beautiful with lots of natural light. I am jonesing to come back for breakfast!

This is a pretty cool spot that I will frequent when in the Springs. Chill vibe. My burrito bowl was amazing - it just tasted fresh. I only tried one of the salsas, but there are some hot ones (see photo)

I couldn't believe how good the Al pastor tacos were. We ordered 3 to start and had to order more. And I'm from LA so that's saying something!

Stopped here for dinner around 7:30pm last night after we had gone to the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur. We were able to find sitting for the five of us with little issue. There are tables available as well as bar seating, which is great if you're looking to just grab a drink. The menu is very straightforward with your options. I opted for the quesabirria and an horchata. The horchata was very refreshing after a long day at the festival and very smooth. The birria in the tacos was good but just okay in comparison to other quesabirria I've had, and the consommé was onion-heavy. $12 for three tacos is a reasonable price though, on level with other places I've gone. The music was pretty loud in some spots of the restaurant, though we ended up in a quieter corner where we could hear each other fine. If I'm looking for a Mexican spot, I'd probably seek elsewhere, especially if you're looking for somewhere with an expanded variety of protein options even in your tacos. I do appreciate that they other a tofu option for those looking for a non-meat option. All that said, I would not be opposed to stopping in here again.

You walk in and it smells amazing. We ordered chips and guacamole to start and the chips were so fresh and salted perfectly and the guacamole was yummy. We ordered the nachos and quesobirria, which was on the happy hour menu and was blown away by the flavors. Great service and yummy food!

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Didn't need to wait for a table around 7pm on a weeknight. I ordered a Crunchwrap which was bomb. They have a full bar as well. As with much of Colorado, the foood here is very fresh and tasty!

The food is always excellent. I almost always get the quesabirria with chips and queso. The food has been great every time and the service is always fast. It's a cute little place and I'd recommend it for anyone looking for some good tacos!

The Al Pastor burrito was delicious with a perfect amount of piña to sweeten the meal. Trendy beverage service in mason jars keeps the vibe hip.

This place rocks! Really neat atmosphere, and open to the street. We got tacos and the nachos which were so so yummy. We enjoyed and gulped down those nachos so fast. The cheese was so good and fresh radishes were even on top. I really recommend this place! Good service too.

DO DOT EAT HERE!!! Rude service argumentative server who doesn't do her job! We walked in no one was there to greet us. We're giving menus and not informed they are only serving a certain part of the menu. We finally sat down, ready to order and then we're told they aren't serving half the menu until 11am which was in 12 minutes. They could have taken our order and then put it in at 11 but instead we had to wait. Mind you we are the ONLY people in the place so the workers are just standing around talking. Once they returned exactly at 11am they told us now they don't serve the other part of the menu which they should have told us. Mind you the menu doesn't say anything about times! They seem to care more about the look of the place than service and even then the tables were dirty.

Amazing breakfast burritos! Aoili sauce makes the ingredients come together perfectly! Not busy so perfect for a breakfast outing with family or friends. Hidden gem!

Super tasty and good! Salsa is fresh and has just enough kick to keep you wanting more! We had the 3 tacos. Chicken, Al pastor and carne asada. Ummm yummm-loved them all! The tomatillo sauce is insane and perfect! Looking forward to next visit and a margarita!

Dos Dos is the ultimate spot for fantastic drinks, a prime location, and mouthwatering food. Whenever friends come to town, I make sure to point them in Dos Dos's direction before we hit the bars for a great night out.

I went to Colorado Springs for a work trip and stumbled upon Dos Dos. My coworker and I chose to eat here because he said he felt the food was going to be good. He was not wrong. At first, I was hesitant to eat here because as a Mexican, I know my Mexican food and I am a tough critic when it comes to it. However, this place exceeded all of my expectations. I tried the deluxe wrap. OH MY GOD!!! The wrap was heavenly. The best wrap I have ever had in my entire life!!! It was one great bite after another, all the flavors were so well balanced. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and not dry at all, which is not easy to do. The flour tortilla was crispy all the way through, it was the perfect texture!!! The chipotle mayo and guacamole sides were great additions to the meal!!!! All around the best way to summarize this dish in my opinion is - edible art!!!! I finished my meal feeling so content and joyful. The staff were kind and attentive, great customer service. You truly can't go wrong with eating here, it's an amazing place all around. 100/10 recommend you try this place!!!

Come see Skyler! She makes a good drink! Food is fresh and authentic! The tortillas are fresh and made in house. The bar tender, Skyler was lovely. Just make sure not to order your tequila drinks extra spicy if you can't handle it!

this fast-casual dining experience was not too shabby! Reasonably priced for being associated with Dos Santos. I ordered a salad because I've been eating out WAY too much and was in dire need of some vegetables. You do get to choose which protein you'd like, and I would recommend the chicken 100%. The drinks were good, but I thought it had too much ice and the horchata tasted kind of watered down. The matcha latte was good, not as watered down. Service was great overall :)

My husband and I went to the soft open of Dos Dos, located in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. We walked in, ordered and sat down at the bar. The ambience is warm and inviting. We had or food in less than 10 minutes. We were shocked at how fast our food came after ordering! The staff was super kind and helpful. My husband got birria tacos and I got a chicken burrito. Both were tasty, but I have to say that my favorite thing I got was a horchata. It was perfectly sweet and just hit the spot. A great new addition to Colorado Springs!

The food is incredible! Seriously the best burrito bowl I've had in a while. The staff was so kind and took very good care of me, made sure I had water even though I was ordering to-go. They also did so good with the renovation of the building! Growing up in CO, knowing what it was before, they did a full transformation. I can't wait until summer when I can sit outside on those benches. But yah... I crave their food. Like a lot.

The food was super yummy! Good service! It was a great vibe! The carne asada was really good. I loved the green salsa that came with the tacos. The spicy margarita was good but definitely spicy! I didn't get to take a picture of the fried plantains but they were super delicious! Definitely recommend this place!

The worst service ever I would not ever go here for food for FREE! So no stars for me and I still tipped because that's what I do for service. The scene is nice but they should hire someone to keep the place clean! Oh I had to give a star to post....

If you have dietary restrictions or allergies this is not the place for you. Alerted our server that I am quite allergic to dairy and wanted to be sure the tacos I ordered would not come with cheese. When they arrived at the table there were small pieces sprinkled across all 3 tacos, likely just cross contamination from careless assembly in the kitchen. Our server was able to take them off the bill which was greatly appreciated, but had I not seen the cheese I would have spent the night in the hospital. The service was also slow and lackluster, not sure if it was an off night or regular occurrence. The rest of my family's food seemed decent, though a bit greasy
