Dosa Hut - Indian Multi Cuisine Restaurant Footscray

I just ordered Paneer 65 Biriani for pick up. My biriani had chicken piece in it. I’ve been a vegetarian all my life and finding a piece of chicken in my biriani was really disturbing. The quality of the paneer too wasn’t up to the mark. The paneer tasted a bit sour. Very bad experience.

Best food in the town. Loved the biryani. Will come back again.

Great food at this 'no frills' indian restaurant . Dosas were delicious. Curries we had were yum also. All washed down with some mango lassi. Trisha was lovely and helpful. Great value!

It was a delight to return to Dosa Hut - Footscray (604 Barkly St, West Footscray) on this summer evening. It’s been a few years since we were at this place, and it was nice to see the great taste of food in the menu and service offered by the friendly staff have not changed. We have been to other places of this chain and restaurant serving same dishes, but there is something special at this one and we always enjoy our visit. On this occasion we had chicken dum biriyani, crispy goat, mix fried rice, paratha, gulab-jamon, rosha-malai, and tea. We hung out for a short period catching up with old stories while slowly enjoy every bite and sip. The nice melody in the background is never overwhelming. We were happy to be back to this neighbourhood eatery where the dishes are always delicious and price is very reasonable.

This restaurant was absolutely insane!! I Absolutely loved every single menu item they had here and it was the real flavour of India! They had great authentic menu items! The biryani here was HUGE came with a great portion and flavour wise and how they marinate their chicken is AMAZING! Love their curries too!! For dessert I also tried their rasmalai and Gulab jamen and it was a hit!!🤤 Definitely recommend this footscray location! The staff were the best and I appreciated the great service!

We checked out their Footscray store for their new Menu Items and honestly were blown away! 🌟💖 It was a full house on a weeknight too ☺️ We tried their new Indo Chinese items- including the Cashew Veggie and Egg fried Rice- both had really good wok hei 🌟✌️✔️ Together with their new Roast Ghee Chicken and Ellipaya Prawn items it was the perfect pairing. The prawn was so spicy 🥵 We also tried the Bagara Rice with Chicken 🐓 we were craving the samosas too and it was so so yummy! We been to dosa hut on weekends for dinner, we ordered masala Dosa and chicken biryani.. and mirchi Bada bit spicy for me but i loved it. Highly recommend for chicken biryani and varieties of dosa.. Staff is very polite and friendly.
