I’ve been going to this South Indian restaurant for the last three years since I moved to Oxford, and I still love it as much as the first time. The food is absolutely authentic and full of real Indian flavors. Everything tastes amazing, from the crispy dosas to the flavorful sambhar and fresh chutneys. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. The staff are friendly, and the place feels warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for delicious South Indian food, I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t get bored of it—I know I haven’t!

Dear Dosa Park, I/we am/are disappointed in your menu, I am visiting a friend and we decided to order a curry, we ordered 3 main dishes, all were just way, way, too oily, two of my friends ordered dishes that are usually the creamy consistency but were faced with a tub of oil in each and also their particular dishes said no spice, yet it was so spicy they couldn't eat it, the lamb in mine was cheap and fatty. Our pilau rice had what seemed to be frozen mixed veg in it, we've never had mixed veg in a pilau rice. The naan was hard, like cardboard almost, and what topped off our night was we had ordered at 20:05 and it arrived at 21:45. I would not recommend this place, I wish we had read reviews beforehand but we were so hungry and clearly we've never had issues with other curry houses so trusted this one to be good. We are looking to get a refund because we've had to go to the local tesco to get a microwave meal, which we know will be much more enjoyable. I would not call this authentic in the slightest.

Good size portions and enjoyed the tasteful food 👍🏼. Just need to improve condition of male toilets 👎🏼

It’s always a pleasure to visit Dosa Park. The staff are helpful, the food is great, and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended. EDIT: unfortunately, despite being a loyal customer - I’ve had to edit my review. I called up to reserve a table for dinner the other day. I also requested to order my food in advance because I knew I would be in a rush to get to a meeting. I was assured that my table was reserved and would have my food served promptly as it would not be busy at my planned arrival time. When I arrived the restaurant was full. The staff looked at me with shock when I asked about my reservation - they clearly didn’t reserve a table for me at all. They couldn’t seat me anywhere, so I had to leave and get a meal deal instead as I was in a rush. Very poor service on this occasion.

I should have checked the reviews before I went there. I ordered Chicken biyarni and masala dosa. The dishes are blend and not tasty. The service is also terrible. It seems that there is only one waitress and she was using the phone and she didn’t hear me at all when I wanted to get serviced. The atmosphere is a bit not great. I have tried many indian restaurants and this is the worst so far. I wonder abt the hygiene of the dishes. All in all, I wouldn’t probably go back.

Extremely friendly service and wow the food! Delicious. I had the Tandoori Chicken Biryani and it was just amazing. Definitely try the Chai as well. Definitely go when in Oxford.

Went recently when I was visiting Oxford. Ordered full breakfast ..not flavoursome food. Idli so hard .parotta ..oh my god . My tooth got loose . My crown almost broke . For south indian ..it is far from it . Food is not tasty . Service was reasonable . Place decor is decent . Prices ok . My advise ..avoid parotta and idli .

Yelp
Omg I LOVE Dosa Park. And I really wish I went there more often when I was in Oxford before the times of COVID. It's a bit of a tiny place and it really doesn't look like much but oh my goodness, their DOSAS. There are so many things on the menu, but I haven't tried much else. Since the first time I tried their dosas, I fell in love with them. And why try something else for the first time other than the very menu item they have in their name? Dosa Park has HUGE dosas, not to mention how tasty they are! And for the price? Completely worth it. I highly, HIGHLY recommend it. (Ugh just writing this review is making me crave it now.)

Yelp
Located right near the railway station, from outside Dosa Park doesn't look like anything special. However, after hearing that is the rare place where they serve South Indian food, I couldn't miss out on it. The menu has a quite a few things on offer, including soup, bhajis, and dosas. However, when it says spicy , it means super spicy, haha (at least for me)! It's also the first time I have tried mint lassi. Service was super-quick, and price-wise it's also a very good deal for Oxford!

Yelp
I was CRAVING my homeland food. I'm South Indian so as soon as I saw this place I literally RAN. I saw the menu and cried, all my favorites were on the menu -- from idli, dosa, sambar, vadai, you name it! The food was really good, and it wasn't overwhelming. I had the masala dosa and mini idlis and topped it all off with a mango lassi. The mango lassi was kind of sour which was surprising considering mangoes are in season. Not sure why that was. Seating can be a little crammed, my friend and I were cooped up. Service needs to be better, we had to go up to the counter or ask for stuff several times which was a bit annoying. I wouldn't mind going here again.

Yelp
Tried the sampler platter to get a taste of as many things as possible. About 1/3 were great, 1/3 were pretty good, and 1/3 we didn't care for. The issue with the sampler platter is that the tiny dishes tend to get cold quickly. It's a good option if you are in the area and looking for Indian food. We will probably go back, but it's not at the top of our list. Atmosphere: 2.5 stars Food: 4 stars Friendliness: 3 stars

Yelp
Dosas are my favorite food, so I was delighted to find this place. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food service was fast. Perfect for comfort food at the end of a long day when you are too tired to do anything but graciously receive a meal. My husband and I shared the chicken masala dosa. It was good, but not a lot of flavor to it. Still, dosa... fast, convenient... yeah!

Yelp
This place was ok. But could be much better. The dishes are a hit and miss. The curry dishes don't even include rice or naan, so the price of a meal jumps up quite a bit. And the service is reeeeally slow. That being said, the chana masala is amazing!

Yelp
If you are an idly fan just go for it. Its so soft that its hard to let go. The dosa itself as the name suggests is great. Also got the chilli chicken appetizer which was average at best. Mentioned in most blogs and reviews as a must visit, i would agree to them all. This indian restaurant beats any in USA. Not often do we get good south indian food outside india, this i can say being a south infian myself.

Yelp
We were damn hungry today and saw dosa corner, and went in a hope to get Indian taste...but trust me forget the taste he forgot what DoSa and uttapa should be made and served, just smashed potatoes in bit of turmeric and salt doesn't make it a masala dosa....poor taste and poor quality... Will never visit again....

Yelp
Very close to Oxford train station, we stumbled upon this by mistake. The atmosphere is nothing special; extremely casual, limited seating. The service is slow. But...this is some of the best Indian food I have eaten! There is a wide selection of vegetarian & non-vegetarian. We had lots of different starters, the favourite of which was paneer tikka. The dosas are huge and fantastic! Prices are very reasonable; no alcohol is served. This is my new fav in Oxford. http://dosapark.com

Yelp
One of the best kept secret in Oxford. Good food, reasonably clean and well organized place. We tried their thali, Vada and Masala Chai. Everything was good, though the Vada and Sambhar were not exactly piping hot. Nonetheless, the location, food and price all contribute to a decent value of eating out in Oxford.

Yelp
This is fast food Indian. It's not top quality gourmet stuff, but boy does it taste good. My favorite thing to get there are the parathas and chicken curry. The parathas are flaky, stretchy breads. You can tear it and dip it into the chicken curry. The chicken is well cooked and falls right off the bone. The curry it's in is perfectly thick and oily. I would try to plan my train arrival times just so I would have an excuse to stop in at Ruchi's. And if not, they do deliver to main part of Oxford for orders of £15 or more. As this is primarily a takeout place, seating is limited and not glamorous, nor does it need to be.

Yelp
Very friendly and fast service. Good authentic taste and at a reasonable price. A large variety of vegetarian and other options. Definitely the most flavoursome lassi I've had in a long time. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

Yelp
Decent food, but the ambience leaves something to be desired. Really like the spot, but would like it a lot more if it didn't cost me £2.50 for rice.

Yelp
It's fairly hard to get a dosa wrong. I ordered a paneer dosa which I got to take away. Inside the restaurant wasn't very appealing but as a few people had turned up while I was waiting for my food I assumed the food must be good. However, I was really disappointed. The dosa itself was incredibly greasy. And the paneer filling really wasn't great. It seemed to be grated (?!) and not much of it, and it was just kind of stuck inside very loosely, so that when I ripped bits of the dosa off to dip into the dips the cheese (what little there was of it) fell out. Very unimpressed. The three pots of curry to dip into were fine though.

Yelp
I actually really like the masala dosas here, but I have been here four times and two times out of those four they have overcharged me. Too bad, as I really liked going here but I don't think I can ever return.
