DosKiwis - Fàbrica de cervesa a l'Empordà

The Kiwis (one is Catalan, the other a true Kiwi) have created a dream destination for cyclists and anyone in the area looking for a place to linger over excellent brews of all sorts, great food, and coffee. It’s set up as a multi—area Biergarten: plenty of picnic tables, cafe tables, indoor and outdoor seating. My visit was on a solo loop gravel ride out and back from Girona. If I could design every one of my future routes to stop at a place like this, I’d be in heaven. I had a malted beer, a double IPA, a burger, and grilled corn. My only touch of advice might be to make the burgers fattier - I love grass fed natural beef, but sometimes it makes the burger a little dense. But that might just be me. 5/5 stars all around.

Amazing place, right in the middle of countryside. Great beers and snacks. A must visit for vacationing beer aficionados.

If you like your (absolutely lovely) craft ale in great taproom environments, you’ll love this place. Superbly soft, fresh and refreshing beer. Great staff and lovely vibe. For some solids, try going simple with some crisps (homemade and sooo tasty). A great place, loved it. Only minor downside is it’s a few miles from anywhere

An awesome place with great quality artisan beers, delicious burgers and so much more. The grilled corn is beyond words. Def a must try! Chilled, cool atmosphere.

An absolutely lovely experience. The only craft beer place in the area and it’s amazing! Great beer, great food, great environment and location. The staff were really nice and knew so much about the beer. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Hospitality plus. Kitchen was officially closed but they made up a delicious roast veggie plate, a bulging veggie burger and a sumptuous wagyu burger from local beef. Amazing brewed on the spot craft beer list! We sampled the sour fruity Heartbreaker and the house IPA. On a foggy damp January afternoon, the welcome was truly warm. Great news...open every day for lunch. Mike's back ;-) Late December was cool and sunny, hot food, cold beer. Love that Heartbreaker!

Stumbled across these guys when I tried one of their beers in a Girona cafe so just had to cycle out there. Tried the IPA and the Hazy Pale Ale, both are so good and the Kiwi pies were delicious. There's an excellent vibe and wish them all the best for the future.
