Google
A craft cider bar. Its quite interesting. At least 10 different kind of cider available. Had one and its was fantastic. A chill modern place with an outdoor seating. Unfortunately no food there so make sure u eat before u go there. Bought a Tshirt for $25 and its looks great with a decent quality. A must visit for me. Even im not really a cider guy

Sean Flood

Google
We had a flight of dry and Semi dry offerings amazing flavor. We added a can of the extra dry it was so dry you could feel it leaving your tongue. The tables and artwork are amazing. We had a great time! The game selection was interesting. I couldn't get anyone to play AED with me

Google
First tried this place while in Kodiak in 2024 and love it. Vowed to try the Anchorage location and was not disappointed. A huge fan of double shovel cider company.

Google
This is one of my all-time favorite cideries! I was living in Anchorage 9 years ago when Double Shovel first opened and I was SO happy to come back this summer and find them doing so well! My husband and I went on a weekday recently and it was fairly empty, with plenty of seating inside and out. The first bartender listened so well to us talking about what kind of flavors we liked and she curated the perfect flight for us, also including a free sample of their blended ice drink! My husband also bought a hat that he has been wearing almost every day. The only food they had available when we were there were a few bags of chips, which we didn't purchase. Apparently they sometimes have food trucks but none were there at that time.

Google
what a great vibe, great selection of ciders, and a great place to just hang out. I love that they have postcards that you can write and they'll ship em out! rotating food trucks are available to get your grub on so you got good eats and good drinks. will definitely be coming back.

Sarah Tachias

Google
Our new favorite place in town! Love their revolving food truck schedule and their cider slushes this summer!

Google
A warm and folksy atmosphere and staff welcomes you into this cider brewery with sweet, semi-sweet, and dry ciders, fruited ciders, and a broad selection of farm inspired flavors to explore. Relax with friends with wooden furniture accents and outdoor seating with a food truck. Fun time

Kristen Roberson

Google
Great local hang if you're looking to have some quality cider in a place with a positive vibe. They have choice food trucks out front. It's always buzzing with people having a good time. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. It's nice they have a rotating tap, but also keep the classics available.

Yelp
Very good, inviting, modern cidery with extremely friendly service and good trucks! Flights are available so you can try several and pick your favorite! Very dog friendly!

Andrea R.

Yelp
Customer service is phenomenal! This was my first brewery experience and everyone was pretty helpful with suggesting ciders to try, very knowledgeable on their products. I love the vibes during the summer with the different food trucks. It's always a great time when I visit. If I could give a higher rating, I would!

Yelp
Double shovel was the first place I had the guts to enjoy solo, back when they first opened. Their staff is always welcoming and informative. They consistently craft creative and tasty ciders. Most recently, I attended their birthday party where they served up cider margaritas, that we loved. They have expanded their seating area to allow for more business during peak hours. Double shovel regularly hosts vendors, food trucks, and markets, as well as, participates in local beer/brewing festivals across the state.

Yelp
This place is so cute inside and their cider options are fun and tasty. The staff was super friendly and I would definitely recommend trying them out.

Yelp
Fun location. Perfect for a cidery. Lots of parking because it's an industrial area. Fun, friendly staff and feel to the place. Lots of flavors of cider. Tried the blueberry sour, Cider-Mosa, Pineapple & Grapefruit Lavender. Pineapple was our favorite. Did a taste of the cherry, but it was too sour without a balancing flavor. Blueberry was a close second for me. Thanks for a fun final Anchorage adventure before we head back to Atlanta!

Yelp
I gave this place another try after several years and I'm very pleased with the improvements. The outdoor patio area during the summer helps alleviate some of the crowding in the taproom. I love the local art on the walls. There's a lot more variety in cider flavors since I last visited which I appreciate. I had a flight with Tropic Phantasy, AK Apple, Pineapple, and Grapefruit Lavender. I found all the flavors nicely balanced, not too sweet or too dry. I really like how the flights flavors are listed on the back of a sticker. I enjoy hard cider and supporting local businesses, so I'm happy Anchorage has its own local cider place. I will be back!

Jake F.

Yelp
Fun cidery, above average selection of ciders but many had a similar flavor. Sadly the food vendor had zero idea about the attraction cider and cider joints have for folks going gluten free whether it's for preference or allergy. On GF option from the cidery was a prepackaged salad. Missing the boat maybe look for a BBQ food truck or street tacos which have a better cross appeal among GF folks and regular customers. Overall a true 4 star cider spot, pretty good but not standing out yet.

Yelp
Awesome music list. Peppy and fast paced. A really great section of merchandise. T-shirts, hats, bottles, etc. Clear pricing information located on a sign. A little bit of a seating area inside, but the real jewel in the outside patio. Tables, stools, Adirondack chairs. Friendly and fast service. And knowledgeable. Samples are available. Flights, too. Local greens were available when I was there. If a bag of local greens sounds a little weird, you and I are thinking the same. But they looked delicious and fresh. And of course, cider. So many tasty ciders. I think it would be hard for someone to not find something they liked, as long as one likes cider. I drink mostly beer, but I did find that the cider-mosa and the hopped ciders were pretty nice. And the cranberry cider was nice and sweet if that's your thing. Many people were raving about the crimson mint cider. It was only in the can, but people were buying the cans and grabbing a glass. We bought a four pack to go and I can confirm it is a really tasty cider. A mix of sweet and dry. Also, the local greens for sale...I can also confirm they are very tasty.

Yelp
First of all, I feel ashamed that I haven't written a review on Double Shovel when I attended the grand opening with Yelp years ago! Double Shovel was the first micro cidery in Alaska. The cider is amazing and the vendors the collaborate with are equally as awesome. Every person that I've introduced double shovel cider to has become a life long DS lover! Can't wait to see what else DS accomplishes!

Yelp
Great local cidery, lots of interesting options/flavors. One of the brewmasters was there and gave me a detailed and super helpful run down of each cider (plus a tip that he recommends combining the Pineapple and Pepper Peak ciders, and it was really good). The Pineapple alone tasted to me like the juice in a can of Dole Pineapple (I mean that in the best way, I loved that stuff as a kid). The Extra Dry is a classic and the Forest Bittersweet was surprisingly good (for me, I don't normally like hopped cider but this one was really good).
google avatar

Rebeca C.

Yelp
This was one of the best parts of our trip! The bartender was super nice and informative. The ciders were the best ciders we have ever tasted and there was a wide variety. My husband even loved them and he is a beer drinker.
google avatar

Adam D.

Yelp
There are roughly 10 breweries in Anchorage, but this is the only cidery I know of, and I'm glad they exist! Every time I go back, they have something new on tap, which is only in part why I am a repeat customer. Some of the taps that never change, ranging from extra dry to sweet, usually make it into my sample flight since I can never decide what to order. The staff here is always friendly, the prices very reasonable, the music very mood-setting and they also sell cool merchandise and local greens and art!
google avatar

Katherine B.

Yelp
Best cider in town!! Super cool atmosphere and they expanded, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They offer cool merch and free stickers and will mail post cards for you from them. The cider also taste great. There are so many options there is something for everyone even non alcoholic options. It's already great, the only thing that would make it better would be good live music, maybe some country.
google avatar

Oliver D.

Yelp
This is one of the best cider places I have been to. They have a great variaty on tab including their popular pineapple cider. We did a tasting of 4 ciders as well as pints of our favorites which are pineapple and blue berry sour. 2 small vendors were setup inside the tab room which was great. One of them had many delicious gluten free treats which went well with the cider. Overall the staff was great and the location was clean with beautiful wall decor. They also have a small section of branded items for sale. We will be back again for the cider.

Kamil A.

Yelp
We stopped by Double Shovel to try some ciders and were very impressed! There's a great variety of ciders here, with something for dry and sweet fans, and some interesting and creative brews. Our favorite was the lavender, but it's worth going for a flight if you can. Definitely worth the trip!
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
This place is so cool. I will return next time I am in Anchorage. If you are visiting or a local that has not been here yet, I highly recommend making the trip. This place has a variety of unique ciders.. I recommend getting the flight to try a selection. It is such a fun vibe and staff feels like friends. They have food trucks near to order food from.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
I love this place. It's a garage style cider bar. Friendly bartender or cider-tender. Very knowledgeable and quick to pour. We each got a flight for $4 usd. Although I am not a cider drinker I do love to try new things. This place has a great list to pick from, even non-alcohol ciders. We ordered: Extra dry - yum Appalanche - not my fav but decent Pineapple - yum, this one is unique Cider-mosa- I could drink this all day long. Yummy Grapefruit Lavendar - smells great not a fan my friend loves it. It's her fav Forget me Hopped - also yum Black and Wild - dark looking cider with a really interesting flavour. Yum Farmhouse Brut- not a fan at all. We thought it tasted like an old rusty tractor on the farm. This place is packed and I get why. Great cider and great staff. They have food trucks here daily if you want some food too.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome little cidery, first that I have known of in AK. Small little set up in the industrial area with very little advertisement or signs to follow, so trust your gps lol. They have a nice selection of ciders "quite tasty I must add" with what I'm sure more to come. The inside is nothing of which the outside may lead you to believe, its a must see ;). Very friendly staff in a very new establishment, excited to see and have something a little different here in anchorage, and even more to try what is to come. Will definitely be returning, without a doubt :)

Yelp
Double Chevrolet cider always meets my expectation and goes beyond. I love coming here for the company. The young vibrations, the food, the atmosphere. Is a 100% wonderful? Give it a try

Yelp
This was our first time visiting Anchorage, and I'm so glad we made the trek out to visit Double Shovel Cider. I say "trek" because we walked the 2.2 miles there from Moose's Tooth Pub & PIzzeria. Double Shovel is a bit of a hidden gem. If we weren't looking for it, I don't think we would ever have come across this place. They have cozy indoor seating as well as outdoor tables. Our bartender/host was super friendly and helpful while guiding me through my flight selection. I LOVE that their flight selection ticket also doubles as a sticker souvenir!
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
We loved this cidery so much!!!! All of the ciders are great and it's just adorable. We loved the locally featured artist too. Come check it out!!
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
I come here largely to work on stuff for my second job, on Monday's. (I used to go to coffee shops but I'm getting old and caffeine at 7pm is starting to do weird things to me, switching to ethanol.) The one-woman-show running the bar does an excellent job, she's really friendly, polite, and efficient! They usually have a great Texas BBQ foodtruck outside. Ambiance is lively and loud. The folks that hang out here are beautiful. I don't know what it is about cider, but it apparently attracts beautiful people to its estery goodness! It's been fun to watch our first/only cidery grow into such a staple of the community. I just wish more places had their "dry" cider on tap...they're keeping it all to themselves! Maybe that's the point?

Yelp
Double shovel was introduced to me as soon as I moved to anchorage. It was my friend's favorite place to grab a drink and her go-to drink at home. The lavender grapefruit is WHOA! So much lavender (In the best way)! Love the farmhouse brews too! It's nice to sit outside when it's warmer and they have food trucks and other pop up events that are pretty fun to check out.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
What a neat little drinking joint!! We put the address into our GPS and made multiple turns until we were in an industrial area with storage garages. Feeling very confused, we decided to take a chance and park. What a pleasant surprise!! Double Shovel is set up in 2-3 bays with garage roll-up doors. There's a full sit down bar and a bunch of high tables. Really neat set-up!! A flight of cider is $10. There were 3 of us in our party so we had the chance to try every cider they had on tap plus the kombucha. Our favorites were Pineapple and Grapefruit Lavender. Yum!
google avatar

Shawn P.

Yelp
Tucked away in an industrial area near C Street, Double Shovel has an array of ciders to sample, ranging from sweet to dry. They usually have ten or so offerings on tap, with 12 Oz pours costing $6-8 (try the extra dry or Appalanche). They also fill growlers and have many ciders available for take away purchase. The tasting room is small but cozy and they have a wide range of shirts and other gifts available for purchase. There is a small outdoor seating area for use in warmer weather and plenty of parking. Good tunes on the stereo.
google avatar

Justin F.

Yelp
Great variations of flavors! Blown away by all the flavor choices of cider. They allow dogs outside and they also have food trucks near the sitting area outside. I'm sure the food trucks is based on food truck availability. My Friends and I had pizza and wings with our cider because of the food truck mountain pies and it was great. It was a great atmosphere inside and out and the staff was very nice and helpful. Also, because of all the cider options I had a flight which was really enjoyable and a great way to try a bunch of ciders at once.
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
I love this hidden gem!!! You see their ciders in most restaurants / bars but going there is better. A flight is $10 and a 5 Oz is only $4. The ciders are very light, not sweet at all really. Just a hint of pineapple, apple, cranberry. The cidermosa is my favorite (and has 8% alcohol!) Usually a food truck outside which is nice too. Went on a Saturday at 12:30. It got pretty crowded but emptied out by the time we left at 3:30.
google avatar

Stacy P.

Yelp
While not really my type of atmosphere, their tasting room is beautiful. We sampled a flight of ciders, which were all a bit on the dry side for my taste. They have a food truck outside for those wanting to have a couple of drinks and a meal. Nice place in an industrial location.

Yelp
My friend wanted to check this place out while we were in Anchorage, so we walked over from the Alaska Wild Berry Products store in like 20 degree weather. Was it the smartest thing to do, probably not but we needed to kill time. It was honestly a pleasant walk, so no regrets there! While walking along the more main road, it was hard to find the store. We saw a banner on a fence and just assumed we were in the right area. The food truck covered the main door so that's how we were thrown off. We arrived around 4:30 on a Friday, and there was plenty of seating. My friend got the flight while I settled for a cup of their kombucha. For the price, both the flight and the kombucha were super worth it. Maybe I'm jaded by Bay Area pricing, but $5 for a 12 oz of kombucha and $10 for a flight of four 5-oz ciders is a steal! The kombucha was omg, so delicious. The flavor for the day was berry lemonade which I mean, already sounded delicious. The server said they get their kombucha locally. Turns out they get it from Zip Kombucha, who's a local kombucha company close by to Double Shovel. It didn't feel too carbonated like other kombucha I've had, and I really wished they sold the kombucha in a can so I could've bought one for the road. My friend picked the following four ciders for her flight: Appalanche, pineapple, cranberry, and Early Harvest. I had a sip of each, and REALLY liked the pineapple one. I don't really drink alcohol and can taste even the slightest hint of it in a drink, but the pineapple one was just so good! I could really taste the pineapple, and I loved the citrus flavor. I liked that they have different food trucks that rotate serving the patrons inside so you could get food and have a drink in one spot. I wish we had something similar in the Bay Area, but overall Double Shovel ended up being a pleasant surprise. If I'm in Anchorage again, I would definitely come back.

Yelp
As someone who prefers to be a couch potato wrapped in a blanket avoiding all aspects of socializing, this place is one of the few spots I am willing to do the complete opposite. I have only been here twice, and each time is on a rainy, Friday evening. Despite a busy night, the staff are attentive, quick, and personable. And the ciders... Ohhhh my lanta. As an indecisive lightweight, I have to get a flight. For $10, I am able to experience something totally new with four 5 oz. pours. Each cider is delicately flavored and refreshingly crisp. My current favorite is the Grapefruit Lavender Cider. I also appreciate how this place is hidden away in an industrious neighborhood with not much traffic. The vaulted ceilings and clean design of the place make it feel less claustrophobia-inducing, but I wish it was a little roomier to accommodate the crowd. Lastly, I want to highlight how they collaborate with food trucks. Although they do not have a food menu of their own, I salute them for supporting a symbiotic, local community. Go team! So, for all you introverts out there, I encourage you to crawl out of your caves and enjoy some fresh, uniquely Alaskan ciders. Cheers.
google avatar

Annika H.

Yelp
I loved the variety of flavors of ciders that they had. Ordered a seafood broil from the food truck that was delicious and was enough food for my parents and I.
google avatar

Chantel B.

Yelp
Knowledgeable and nice staff They get to you quick even when it's busy Great ciders that aren't too sweet Decent range of flavors Small space, but nice atmosphere Typically a food truck outside And you can bring your food inside!
google avatar

Victoria G.

Yelp
Wow! This place is definitely a hidden gem. I would not have found this place without Yelp. It's not in an area that you'd just randomly drive or walk by but I kind of like that about it. I bet this place get packed in the winter when they don't have outdoor seating. I've seen their ciders at places like Rustic Goat but didn't realize they had their own tasting room until just recently. The staff is friendly and their prices are very reasonable. I want to take a bath in all of their unique cider flavors. Bring your friends they have something for everyone, even non alcoholic options for under 21 or people who don't drink.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
Gotta start with saying that I don't really like/go for ciders because they're usually way too sweet for me, however that said, I LOVE Double Shovel Cider Co's cider. They do have some sweet ones, but for the most part they are very light and refreshing. My most favorite one was Pepper Peak. A cute little spot with different food trucks in the parking lot. They had a decent sized outdoor space for you to bring your dogs and sit outside with them. A little on the pricier side, paying 11$ for a flight of 4 ciders. Not terrible, but I'm use to paying 6-8$ for that amount. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable about the ciders. This is great spot to come after a long hike. I will be back!
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
The ciders are fresh, delicious and unique, the staff was friendly and the price is reasonable. Like many of the small breweries in town, it's tucked off the beaten path in an industrial area, but the interior was cozy and welcoming. Not only do I prefer cider to beer, but it's also just a nice way to switch things up when you've spent night after night at craft breweries. We were there in shoulder season, so the selection was a bit more sparse, but I was still happy to try so many different options. If you're toodling around this part of Alaska, I think this is a must stop.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to visit on a sunny Friday afternoon. The outside seating was nearly full of guests and a food truck parked nearby was available for anyone wanting a late lunch, early dinner , or just a snack. The staff inside Double Shovel was friendly and very informative so we decided on two flights of eight different ciders. We sampled, Extra Dry, Pineapple, Cranberry, Bourbon, Alppalanche Semi Dry, Cider-Mosa, Botanical, and Forget-Me-Hopped. Each was unique and enjoyable but my wife enjoyed the Pineapple the most and I was fascinated by the POM-Bourbon, which was distinctly bourbon flavored with a very slight sweet after tone. All in all it was a very enjoyable and informative visit. Tucked away in a busy industrial/commercial area it is not the easiest to find, but follow your gps and it will lead you right there. There is adequate parking close by and if the weather is not cooperating there is plenty of inside seating.

Yelp
My friend and I visited a couple of breweries in Anchorage and this was my favorite of them all! Double Shovel makes delicious ciders! It's a little place but full of character. And it was packed on a late Saturday afternoon! They offer flights of four ciders so you can try a little of everything. Since it was my first time there, I got the flight and picked the blueberry, Alaska apple, the semi-dry cider, and the pepper peak cider. My friend had been there before and went straight for a glass of the blueberry. I loved all the ciders except for the pepper one. The Alaska apple was my favorite. Perfectly sweet and delicious. The blueberry one was amazing too. The pepper one was really interesting. Definitely tasted like cider but had that spicy pepper kick to it. It was fun to try but wouldn't be one that I would order a full glass of. And if you get a flight, the write down your order on the back of a Double Shovel sticker that you get to keep! A souvenir! Because it was so busy, it took some time for us to get our order in at the bar. There was a server going around table to table also taking orders though, with an iPhone with a square thing so you could pay on the spot instead of waiting in line at the cashier. They also have merchandise up at the front, like hoodies and growlers and such. They're logo is pretty cool so all the merch looked nice. There's a restroom and plenty of free parking in front.
google avatar

Lukas S.

Yelp
Appalanche is by far my fave cider. Period. I appreciate how knowledgeable and kind their staff are all thE time, too. Great place for a Sunday afternoon chill session with friends.
google avatar

Sean G.

Yelp
Forgetmehopped is an amazing balance of hops and cider. This place is great! The staff is very friendly and always willing to help explain and describe the Ciders. I came for a Yelp event and have been back multiple times since and every time I am happy I did. I recomend bringing a friend and try a flight or two then you can get a pint of your favorite. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place I recommend you check it out for yourself.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
I came here on a Yelp event and what a gem it is! The location is a little hidden, if you think you went the wrong way, then you're probably heading the right way ha! They had seven Ciders on tap.. all absolutely amazing! I recommend the cider paddle to get a sample of four, heck if you're with a friend you can sample all of them! The name of the cider is exactly what they taste like! They have samples, flights, and growlers. They are on tap in over 90 places in Alaska, which is pretty amazing! The owners are very friendly, and are eager to share with you their passion of the Cidery they created! All the apples they use are from locals, which is absolutely amazing to me! They are currently brewing a small collection of ciders that will be on limited release. They had some advertisements for upcoming events they plan to host at their location which is pretty awesome. I am excited to find this gem, and look forward to visiting again!

Paula S.

Yelp
I've never been a cider person, but then I found double shovel and it was a game changer!! If you're looking for a good cider or even curious about it, give this place a try. The pineapple and grapefruit lavender is a must try.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
I really enjoy ALL of their ciders and their uniquely cozy tasting room. Each of their ciders are uniquely crafted, some incorporating different flavor combinations. They are always light, crisp and refreshing (never overly sweet or sugary like some ciders). The servers are always welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. They usually always have a fun seasonal flavor every couple months (always worth trying)! You can buy their cider at the brewery in prepackaged cans or via growler (you can bring your own growler or purchase there). They also have great quality apparel! Last but not least... Double Shovel coordinates with different food truck vendors everyday... so there is always amazing local food to pair with their amazing cider.
google avatar

Ann B.

Yelp
What an absolute pleasant surprise! I am an IPA and sour beer drinker through and through, so I didn't have high hopes that the cider wasn't going to be on the sweet side. I tried a flight and I can happily report that not one of the ciders that I tried was sweet! With that being said, they do have sweeter ciders for those that like them, so I can safely say they offer something for everyone! My girlfriends and I got there on a Friday around 5 pm and it was just starting to fill up. The cidery is on the smaller side but very cozy with the whole rustic/modern/industrial feel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. My two favorites? The forget-me-hopped (which satisfies some of that IPA essence) and the Appalanche, both of which I was able to purchase to go. I just noticed they have the grapefruit lavender cider, which I have heard people rave about AND the sour cyser, which I am THRILLED to go and try! Thanks for bringing authentic cider to Alaska!
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
All the ciders here are quite tasty. They have new ones every so often. Gets pretty busy but you can always snag a seat, hang out and play some games.

Yelp
This was a quick stop for my friend and I. Neither of us had been before, but being that we had an hour to kill and both like ciders, we thought we'd try it out. Honestly, we drove by it at first b/c we just weren't paying attention. I'm from WA and am used to breweries, cideries, and wineries in industrial parks, so I should have been a better look out. When you get there it's a cute space, cool logo all around the bar, great garage doors that open up, and friendly bartenders. Their outdoor space is parking spaces with high top tables and flower pots which worked well for families and those wanting to be by the food truck. My friend and I each got a flight with different ciders. We both loved the hopped, brut, mimosa and pineapple ones. Skip the cherry...weird aftertaste. As you can prob tell by my selection we tend to go for dryer and not too sweet ones. Pineapple was our fav sweet one, but the pineapple flavor was fresh and would be refreshing on a hot day. My IPA friends would like the hopped one. I really like their endgame of getting more local apple producers and trying to keep things as local as possible. I'll be back and I'll bring my growler.
google avatar

Zoey T.

Yelp
This is a great place to stop by. Excellent hard ciders, good selection, and easy atmosphere. We worked our way through two flights of four and enjoyed them all to one degree or another. We will likely bring visitors by to enjoy the offerings. One thing, though -- we would have really enjoyed some kind of munchie during our time there enjoying the cider. It would have been helpful for the tummy, for cleansing the palate between ciders, and for a good overall experience. Just sayin'.
google avatar

Caleb A.

Yelp
Great local place with a nice vibe. The selection of ciders tend to be more on the dry side, but they do have some semi-sweet ones to try. They have both glasses and flights so you can try a few different flavors. We really enjoyed the sour cyser and cranberry. Nice being at the only cidery in Alaska.
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
Delicious, light, dry ciders. Forget that sweet , bottled, comercialized stuff. This is made from local and Pacific NW ingredients, some taste like great champagne, some have delicious hops flavors. Try it for yourself. I'm a big fan.

Yelp
The ciders need more work. The pineapple and the cidermosa were my favorites and they weren't that good. For the only game in town, this is probably fine. Folks were really nice. If you come from places where cider is everywhere, adjust your expectations.
