Double Six Luxury Hotel

We visited the roof top bar for drinks and food this time and the lift reception staff were so friendly and welcoming of us attending from outside the hotel. The food availability catered for all tastes and the menu upgrade to food and drinks was fantastic. The staff at the rooftop bar in the evening were great especially Juni, she went above and beyond and really made us feel welcome. She is to be commended as her professionalism and customer service are exceptional. Juni remembered us as staying guests last year and we were made to feel very welcome. The DJ that played was great also music was modern and the vibe was really welcoming. A perfect place to watch the sunset in Bali.

The ocean view was the absolute highlight. Standing on the balcony deck, I enjoyed moments of tranquility simply watching the gentle lull of the waters across the horizon. Inside, the suite was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with plush seating and a refreshment bar stocked with bottles and a coffee machine. The bathroom featured ambient lighting and a wall-mounted TV — perfect for catching some entertainment while having a soak! Butler service was available and this was particularly helpful for arranging dining options and handling laundry. Overall, it was a lovely and luxurious stay.

Double Six is a terrific option and we found the Luxury Escapes package well worth it to a point. ( the point is the limited selection at restaurants and bars). The hotel itself is in a good location, has everything you would need and the rooms (ocean views) were dated but still better than most. The view from the rooms is exceptional. We enjoyed all the food options in the hotel and the staff are all fantastic.||My gripe is on our arrival the Rooftop Bar and Restaurant was closed for a private function. Imagine closing you main attraction to people who have travelled many hours from all over the world to be at your hotel, spending $500 per night, and you don’t let them have access to the star of the show. Rather you give access to a few locals to celebrate. This GM is clearly putting money rather than his paying guests first. It gets worse, the private function was playing noise that loud that it was coming through every wall but at least I now know why they give you ear plugs in the amenities.not sure that’s a good thing.||So kudos to the hotel and staff but zero for management.

The resort gardens and rooms were beautiful. Every worker there was so helpful and friendly. From the security guards at the street entrance to the Pool Guys and the front desk staff every worker was so friendly,happy to serve you and always helpful. The drinks were great and the staff are all familiar with the menus and give suggestions if asked. The food was delicious with lots of options on the menus at the Pool Bar, the Asian fusion restaurant Susie Q’s, elegant Plantation Grill styled in a 1920’s theme complete with a live saxophonist or glorious opera singer and separate whiskey bar, and the spectacular views from the Sunset Lounge. If you want to watch the magnificent Bali sunset over the ocean from the Sunset Lounge be sure to book as it is extremely popular There is a butler service who attend in a very timely manner and a beautiful Spa. I can’t speak more highly. This was our third year in a row staying at Double Six and we will definitely return in 2026.

An absolutely beautiful hotel with the most helpful, kind and friendly staff. My welcome drink was an absolute experience. The staff helped take away all of my worries with checking out and getting to the airport when I was leaving. The exclusive lounge was a great addition to my stay. I was able to check out and then wait there for 2 hours until it was time for me to head to the airport. It had a lovely staff member who helped me with what I needed. My room was stunning and I had a lovely bath, a comfortable sofa (like a home sofa, not a small hard sofa), the room was super spacious and my view was stunning.||The only issue would be the noise from the music, but I was supplied with ear plugs and these worked perfectly. It was also not late when it finished so it was fine and I would more than happily book here again.||Breakfast on the rooftop was a wonderful experience and i highly recommend the lemon crepes.||You must experience the Spa as you will feel like royalty and you will also have one of the best massages of your life. It was the perfect way to finish my Bali trip.||Thank you to the staff - you are all very wonderful.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed, but what really made our trip special was the staff. They were so welcoming, friendly, and always went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always greeted us with a smile. It really made the whole experience feel warm and personal. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali – we’ll definitely be back!

We visited the Double Six October 2025 purely to watch the sunset and have drinks and food, we were coming from outside but welcomed as a staying guest. The enhancement in the menu to food and drinks was fabulous the food quality brilliant but also matched by the superior service offered by Juni as Manager of the Roof Top Bar. She went above and beyond to welcome us back and we could not be happier that the standard has got better since our last visit. The DJ was a welcome change and music really fitted the setting and vibe of the bar. A sunset in Bali should be seen from this rooftop bar it really is memorable.

We chose this hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary staying 9 nights. We are regular travellers to Bali and we enjoyed the location. While we did eat out over our stay, the dining options were first class. We went to Suzie Q several times, for a welcome taste of asian fusion and Plantation Grill was excellent.|The staff, attentiveness, friendliness and service level were, without exception, outstanding, world class. We felt spoilt. |Our room was spacious and clean. Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, there are some building elements needing attention but our overall positive experience meant that we overlooked these details.
