If you’re craving real Italian eats, you’ve gotta check out this place. Their pizza dough is like the soft kind you’d find in the south – all nice and fluffy, almost like pita bread. Up north, it’s a bit crispier. So, if you like your pizza soft, this spot is a must-visit. Their tomato sauce is top-notch, and the seafood pasta? Oh, it’s fantastic! Everything on the menu lived up to my expectations. Service here is A+. The staff is super friendly and full of good vibes. Quick heads-up, though: I love a bit of chili on my seafood pasta. When I asked for chili oil, they handed me olive oil. Asked again, and turns out that’s their chili oil – not what I expected. So, if you’re all about spice, you might miss that kick. Reminds me of my trip to Italy, where asking for chili sometimes got me capsicum instead. Just a heads-up for spice lovers!

Absolute 5 stars from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ I’m Italian, born and raised, and being here is like eating at home. Pizza, at least. I haven’t tried the pasta yet. They also have some wines that are pretty hard to find in Australia, like Cannonau, which is specifically from my region (Sardinia) and it’s so strong and bold, it knocks your socks off! LOL!

I visited this restaurant on a friend's recommendation. I'm a big pizza lover and quite picky. I ordered two pizzas, DOLCE e GABBANA and Ciccio. The pizza dough was chewy yet light and very tasty. The one I really liked was Ascolane. Olives are a staple of Italian cuisine, but this was my first time trying fried olives. They were crispy on the outside and the flavor of gorgonzola inside went really well with wine. I instantly became a big fan of this restaurant. I will definitely come back soon!

If you’re in search of authentic Neapolitan pizza on the Gold Coast, look no further than Double Zero. Their wood-fired oven imparts a delightful flavour to the pizzas, and every ingredient is both fresh and authentic. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the prices are very reasonable. This might just be the best pizza on the Gold Coast and is worth the trip. If you appreciate true Neapolitan pizza, a visit here is a must.

I'll admit it, I was dubious because I tried a no cheese pizza and I wasn't exactly sure how that would work. Well it did. The way the veges and fried eggplant were done and the perfect chewy crust of the pizza meant that this was enjoyable and probably healthier than most of the pizzas I've had. Double Zero also have pizzas with fresh mozzarella (fior di latte if you're a nube like me and didn't know what that meant). The pizzas are also huge so good value for money.

Yelp
Satisfying regional offerings from Double Zero!. We rocked up with no reservations but seated immediately. Starters was eggplant croquettes in tomato based sauce which was scrumptious. 4 pieces just enough to stave the hunger. Shared a pasta gnocchi with pumpkin, burnt butter and sage and a pizza: eggplant, ricotta, tomato on a beautiful thin crust. Double zero makes their own pasta and pizza dough and you can taste the difference. The extensive selection of vegetarian antipasti, pasta and pizza is great for vegetarians and those looking for halal eats. Wished we had a larger group because it was sad to limit our choices to 3 items!. Loved it.

Yelp
Brilliant, authentic Pizza with a dreamy light base. Staff are enthusiastic, but a little forgetful and all over the place at times really. The only REAL downer is the weird Music. Popular hits of today, but none sung by the original artists - saving money much? LOL (Just a bit weird and tacky in that respect...)

Yelp
I have read two reviews about this place, so I decided to look outside the circle, and decided to go with my partner, after being away . Everything that had been previously reviewed about this place was spot on. It's a really nice and cosy, place to go on the Goldy, I would say perfect for a first date, we had the table up the back, where the wood fired oven was. We ordered the Marinara pizza, with the Hoki, and Walnut and Fig salad, which was different to your regular salads, but it tasted divine, all in all a very pleasant experience, and plenty of street parking.

Yelp
Very average, The staff were very pleasant, the menu written on paper was oil stained, and should be replaced. The food was just average, pretty tasteless, I suppose relying mainly on tourists, it doesn't matter. New customers all the time !!

Yelp
The best wood fired pizza I've had on the coast so far. Incredible other food as well. Bartender makes great cocktails as well.

Yelp
Upon returning the past 2 times I've found the quality of the pizza go down to the point I wouldn't bother returning. Not up to snuff for pizza vera Napoletana.

Yelp
Outrageously good pizza! Staff are like my brothers from some other mothers, except for the sisters. Taxi on weekends, parking is difficult.

Yelp
** BEWARE ** they charge a surcharge for paying by credit card Pizza (capricciosa) was good although the base was a little bit soggy and could have been cooked more in the oven The Gnocchi were very nice EXCEPT the tomato sauce they came in had so much 'chilli's' that it felt like it was burning your mouth with each bite It made the Gnocchi uneatable that you had to drink half a glass of water with each bite I ended up trying to scrape the tomato sauce off the Gnocchi just to finish the meal 2 people at the table with me all said the same that eating the Gnocchi felt like it was burning your mouth NOTE to Chef: Way much 'chilli' in your tomato sauce After all this, they have the gall to charge a surcharge for paying by credit card Broadbeach QLD is a tourist destination, a surcharge for paying by credit card is ridiculous!! 1 out of 5 stars for: - Gnocchi covered in uneatable tomato 'chilli' sauce - Extra 'surcharge' for paying by credit card
