I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was clean and featured high-quality toiletries. I particularly enjoyed the hotel’s fitness center, which had a wide range of equipment and was open 24/7. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with plenty of options from fresh fruit and cereals to hot dishes like eggs and sausages. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service from check-in to check-out. The location was great, close to shopping areas and public transport. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast buffet was amazing with some great choices. The lunch and dinner menu is the same but with a nice variety. Ah should I mention the robot that brings your food out ! My kids enjoyed that! |The rooms are spacious and well kept. The hotel is located close to train station that gets you to the Berlin airport within one hour and Berlin mall about 15 mins. Lots of restaurants near by as well and shops. The staff were amazing from check in to check out.

I typically stay at the Hilton Mitte when traveling to Berlin. However, I really liked the location of this doubletree and the photos of the renovated rooms and gym sold me. I stayd in room 635 from June 6-9. Everything about my stay was perfect! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I had a lovely conversation with the bartender who was from Crimea, Ukraine. The front desk also recognized my Diamond status and honored a late checkout on Monday, which I was most greatful for. Another example of their five star service included the fact that when I asked for an extra blanket for my bed (it was a chilly evening Sunday night in Berlin) they were more than happy to deliver one to my room. I also should note the gym is top notch and first rate. I can't wait to return to this hotel!

Great hotel. Staff good, bar manager fantastic. You can tell where I spent the latter part of my evenings. Breakfast was good, my room was very nicely appointed, and cleaned well. So thank you the staff behind the scenes. Location, not sure. I don't know Berlin well enough to make a call on that. It was fine I suppose.

Excellent service, friendly staff, upgraded room with cookie, complimentary water bottles and complimentary drinks. Breakfast all good. Location very good too. Although the room was described as Park View, the park is hidden behind the trees. Well done for having full size windows that open to enjoy delightful fresh air rather than wasteful air con.

I spent seven night in this hotel on a business trip to Berlin where I needed easy access to the Berlin Messe. It’s a short S Bahn ride to the Messe and has direct connection to the airport as well. The Kurfenstendam area isn’t the most interesting for cultural attractions, but it does work for daily conveniences, fast food, and international brand shopping if that’s your thing. ||The hotel is really good looking at least on the inside, and seems new-ish. The rooms are bright, modern with all the latest conveniences, like outlets which come with both USB B and USB C ports. The rooms have nescafe capsule machine, an empty fridge and plenty of counter space, natural light and giant windows. Despite being modern, they have also gone for function, meaning that the lights were controlled by switches, curtains by pulling etc. NO guessing which button does what. The bathroom is small but functional. The décor goes a bit beyond: there are decorative pieces in the room, as well as a few coffee table books for show.|Alas as other guests have noted costs have been cut elsewhere– there are no laundry bags, no shoe polish or extra amenities (Qtips or cotton balls) , no slippers, no soap bar… And the drawers on the dresser are decorative only, they’ just seem like drawers, until you pull and the lid comes off and you realize that there’s actually nothing there. ||The hotel appears often understaffed at the front desk, every morning there’s a long line because there are max two people at peak hour. When I checked in on a Sunday evening around 7 pm there was only one staff person there. The service is wonky. The first day my room wasn’t cleaned. When I called the operator to ask why, she said that the rooms are only cleaned once every three days. I was shocked at this, checked the website and my reservation to see if I had missed something. It turns out not to be true, the operator just trying to justify and make up policies on the fly. |The gym is a sore spot. It’s a gorgeous room, circular with full windows. But the actual equipment is pathetic for this space and a new hotel this size. There are two each treadmills, ellipticals and bikes, one double pulley and one bench stack, and that’s it! They could easily have fit four or five other machines, but decided not to. On the other hand, there is a sauna and taps of Brita water with still and sparkling. So they have spent money on some things, but just not the actual equipment… It’s a shame. ||All in all, I am not sure whether I will return to this hotel. The price is comparable to the other big chain hotels in the city, and yet, I felt they were cutting corners here and there. It could be a great say but I think they fell short.

Hotel rooms and bathrooms are fairly spacious and were nice and clean. Our room overlooked a quiet park type area, which was very nice for central Berlin. The breakfast was very good and fresh, with plenty of choice - and the omelettes which are freshly cooked on request were delicious. The hotel is reasonably close to two underground stations - and only two stops away from the Deutsche Opera House where we saw a fantastic "Magic Flute" opera (Sur titles in German and English). The Concierge was very helpful in sorting out a Berlin card and places to visit. Incidentally, on line the Reichstag building may be sold out, but if you go to the Visitor Centre there (with your passport for ID) you can often book a visit for the following day.|The downsides, we had a meal in the restaurant. Too be honest, it was quite expensive and not particularly good. The Crabtree and Evelyn products are very nice but would have appreciated a bar of soap as I tend to become scaly from using liquid hand soap all the time. I don't think the bed was changed for the whole four days that we were there. Water was very expensive at 9 euros per bottle (none was foc in the room), and the coffee/tea/milk supplies on the miserly side - no biscuits or any snack.

Fantastic location and the room was beautiful and comfortable. The service is one of the only things that I would say is absolutely outrageous. They charge a €20 service charge for anything to be brought to the room. This is ontop of the charges for the actual food or drink. I asked for just salt and pepper but was advised that I need to get it myself from the bar, or I’ll be charged the service fee. This is an outrageous charge for a standard service at an expensive hotel. The lift also took FOREVER to come. I saw 4 groups of people walk the stairs from level 6 because of the long wait.
