We were at the hotel from 19.06 to 30.06, for 11 nights, so we had plenty of time to enjoy our stay and form our impressions. We are a family with a 2-year-old child and a dog, and we don't prioritize active entertainment, animation, or similar activities. We prefer unobtrusive service and a moderate vacation, so this hotel was perfect for us. The advantages of the hotel include: 1. Incredibly beautiful views and a clear, crystal-clear sea. 2. A smooth, sandy entry into the sea. 3. Green area. Many people write that it is small, but in our opinion, it is sufficient. Perhaps we have not visited hotels with a huge area, so we had enough space here. 4. Restaurant service, delicious food, and good desserts (I am not a fan of cakes and pastries in Turkish hotels, but I liked them here). Our two-year-old child does not eat fast food (fries, nuggets, etc., like some children), and there was always something suitable for a child's diet. 5. The hotel's clientele consists of pleasant, well-mannered, mostly family-oriented individuals. Cons: 1. In the initial days, there were difficulties with communication: reception, housekeeping. I had to ask several times for an additional set of towels for the child (we had two sets, although we were the second family to check in: mom, dad, and a child). 2. The absence or insufficient availability of internet in the beach area and on the piers. Since vacationers spend a lot of time in these locations, this issue is quite significant. 3. The mini bar in the room is not replenished without a request (only upon arrival). My husband specifically asked the maid, who did not understand or speak English, to replenish the mini bar, but when she was not on duty, the other staff did not do so. 4. Poor soundproofing: Our room was located near an evening bar, so the music was very loud in the evening, and we sometimes had to put our child to sleep with earplugs. 5. Narrow beach: it's really quite small, although we always found sunbeds for ourselves in the morning (usually came by 10:00). There's not much space for a child to play in the sand. 6. In the first days, the breakfasts seemed meager, but with each passing day, our opinion changed, and by the end of our stay, we concluded that there was enough for breakfast. Despite everything, we had many pleasant memories of our vacation upon arrival, so we gave this hotel 5 stars.

The resort decor is dated but still has its early 2000 charms. The location was isolated if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. Went in early May, whilst unusually chilly, there were quite a number of guests staying which was a lively vibe. The water was clear and clean. The staff were fantastic and friendly, personable and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised by the staff coordinating a rather romantic welcome. The inclusive package made it convenient with meals. The morning breakfast buffet was a treat with everything you would want from the Western and Turkish experience, with an extensive selection of pastries and breads, olives and cheeses. As well as a dedicated chef to cook your eggs how you like it. The food in the pool canteen could be improved out of breakfast/lunch/dinner time. The garden facing bedroom was comfortable and had all the essentials, the bed was firm which is perfect for us. Lots of friendly cats and very well behaved. Really enjoyed the stay and breakfast. Perhaps time to upgrade the outdoor space for a modern feel with day beds, hammocks and all day menu of Turkish pides.

We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Bodrum Işıl Club. The location in Torba is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the Aegean Sea. Our room was modern, very clean, and had a lovely sea-view balcony. The main restaurant offered a wide range of tasty local and international food, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The beach area and large pool were always clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the calm, well-maintained atmosphere. There are lots of activities for both adults and children, including water slides, tennis courts, and entertainment. The spa was also a highlight — professional and relaxing. Above all, the service was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an all-inclusive resort experience in Bodrum.

We stayed here in the deluxe room from 19th-23rd May. Overall we had a nice experience. Positives on our stay were good cleanliness all around in our room, around seating areas inside and outside. The resort exceeded our expectations compared to the advertisement as we’re pleased with the size of the resort. The location and scenery were impressive and the water was inviting and clean. The pier and beach were a beautiful spot to walk on, relax and take pictures. The atmosphere was lively, music was uplifting both by pool and sunset lounge. There were a couple of engaging activities in the pool - dancing and volleyball. This is a perfect place for families and couples. The breakfast included sweet and savoury pastries, there are enough options to satisfy. There were a variety of options in lunch and dinner. Unlike other all inclusive hotels, the food here was well seasoned, full of flavour and makes you want to go back for more. While some foods are repetitive, you do get your money’s worth. Plenty of grilled options and healthy salads. The fruit and dessert options were tasty and fresh. In all of the bars there are alcoholic and non alcoholic options with friendly bartenders. On our last day, it was busier towards peak times, then we noticed there were more food options in the snack bar and a fresh BBQ outside by the pool at 5:30. All staff were friendly and polite, however there was a language barrier. Many of which could not speak English which affected our stay as they could not understand us. With the ‘Hilton’ name, we expected English to be spoken and understood by most staff as expected of the Hilton. The experience didn’t feel as special, most staff spoke only Turkish. This language barrier prevented us from ordering food, making reservations or communicating with staff which was not ideal. If you are thinking to come here from a primarily English speaking country such as the UK, you may struggle to communicate with staff. The staff at reception however were excellent, friendly and spoke clear English. What seemed to surprise us was the fact that there was no doctor on site who spoke English fluently. In this case, communication is vital as there could be an emergency.

We came here expecting a peaceful vacation by the sea, but found two speedboats anchored directly in the designated swimming area — one linked to the hotel owner’s son, the other to the watersports business. Despite reporting this to reception, no action was taken for hours. I was told the boats “could not be moved” and even denied a written statement, with the excuse that “no authorized person was available.” But here’s the most telling part: After I reported the situation to the Turkish Coast Guard, the boats were removed within 15 minutes. This proves that the hotel’s explanation was not only misleading but also illegal. Worse, the guest who raised the concern — me — was treated with complete disregard. Further more their solution was to advise us to leave the hotel like I need their advice to decide to leave the hotel! Is this really the kind of treatment you expect at a hotel that charges the equivalent of a half monthly minimum wage per night? This was just a minor but disgusting problem. Now imagine how you’d be treated if something truly serious happened during your stay. A complete disgrace to the Hilton brand.

This hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning views of the sea and the small town of Torba across the water. Please note, this review is based on my experience in late April 2025, just at the start of the season. Some facilities were not yet operational, so your experience may differ if visiting later in the season which is from mid May. It is understood that all facilities should be operational by then weather permitting. The staff here were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and clearly committed to high standards of cleanliness and customer service. The hotel’s restaurants, bars, public areas, and rooms were spotless and very well maintained. Absolute perfection in that regard. While I found the buffet food a bit underwhelming, the “grill” section available at lunch and dinner made up for it. The grill chef was excellent, and the selection was consistently good. Special thanks to ALP SAKIN at the front desk and also EGEMEN BODUR (Guest Relations)who went above and beyond to help us resolve some issues during our stay. They are a real asset to the hotel and deserve recognition for their outstanding service. At the time of my stay, only the main buffet restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner however, the ground floor bar also offered lunch,a good selection of food, including grilled items, and served a wide range of cocktails, Efes draught beer, wine, and spirits—all included in the all-inclusive package. This ground floor bar also served food from 11 pm as well as drinks which was great if you need a late night snack. Unfortunately, several key facilities were closed, including the two à la carte restaurants, the Sunset rooftop cocktail terrace which provides entertainment some nights, two beach bars and the main theatre for live performances. Many guests I spoke to were unaware of this when booking and were understandably disappointed. That said, these facilities are reportedly opening from mid-May onward, so future guests should have access to the full experience. The biggest drawback during my stay was the lack of evening entertainment. Aside from one guitar duo performance, the rest of the week featured only a looped playlist, which became repetitive quickly. Since the hotel is in a remote location, your options for evening activities are very limited unless you’re willing to take a taxi to Bodrum (about 20 minutes away). Evening entertainment for guests needs to be addressed. I also visited Torba by taxi, but honestly, there wasn’t much to see beyond what you can already enjoy from the hotel itself. If you’re heading out, Bodrum is the better option. In conclusion, this hotel, when fully operational, is exceptional. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape without needing to leave the resort, it’s ideal. However, those who prefer having access to local attractions or nightlife might find it a bit isolated without transport or excursions. Despite the setbacks, I had a very enjoyable stay here and would definitely return. I highly recommend this hotel. Tip: Taxis using the meter are now much cheaper than private transfers—especially to and from Bodrum Airport.

The hotel is in a lovely spot. Clean water for swimming and a beautiful sunset. The service and food quality was very good for an all-inclusive and the staff in general were very helpful and polite.

Despite its well-known brand, this hotel did not meet our expectations. The staff were unprofessional and far from polite or respectful. While the rooms were clean and cozy, the public areas — especially the pool and restrooms — were poorly maintained and dirty. The café and bars lacked variety in their menus, and the dinner buffet had very limited options. The snack bar was also weak and disappointing. The common areas were noisy, and even the waiters were speaking loudly, which made it hard to relax. Overall, it was not the kind of experience you’d expect from a hotel of this brand.”

Yelp
Very nice all inclusive hotel right on the beach... and it is a very nice sea, calm crystal clear waters with the option to sunbathe on the grass area or on one of the piers. The hotel is not too big that it is overwhelming, it is a good medium size. The personnel is warm and helpful. One major shortfall is that the food and drinks could be better quality. Not bad but simply average... an area for improvement but nonetheless good value for money hotel for a relaxing holiday.
