UPDATE: the hotel team took my review very seriously, and asked for further feedback. I really appreciate the approach. Attached a picture of a note we received.
Stayed 4 nights, 2 adults + 1 small child (1.5 years old) in the second half of September (off-season).
Rooms: King’s Superior Room, small, cramped with a child. Ground-floor terrace very close to neighbors - no privacy, noise, and cigarette smoke. Mosquito problem despite nets and warnings. Must keep AC on at night.
Food & Dining: Breakfast and dinner are served in one canteen-style restaurant - feels crowded, especially at dinner time, even off-season. Quality and variety is good, but no fresh orange juice or fresh juices at breakfast (not 5-star standard). Coffee is really bad. Dinner 19:30–22:30 = late for families, with long queues at opening. Two à la carte restaurants exist, but one was closed in September, and both require extra payment despite the “all-inclusive” label.
Beach: Very good. Sandy areas + wooden platforms, spacious, doesn’t feel crowded. We specifically chose this hotel because it offers a sandy sea entrance, which is perfect and safe for a small child.
Family & Kids: Stroller accessible with ramps. Kids’ club available (not used due to age). Kids’ pool is shaded — excellent for small children. Evening entertainment for kids from 21:00 to 21:30, small but nice. At dinner, staff refused a simple request to rinse our baby’s silicone plate, saying it was not possible, which felt unhelpful for a supposedly family-friendly resort.
Entertainment & Atmosphere: From 21:00 there’s a small evening program with music and dancing. During the day, starting around 9:00, the pool area has music — relaxing lounge music until about 11:00, which improves the atmosphere. After that, it switches to loud dance beats to support pool activities (e.g., parkour, darts etc). It looks fun for adults, but it’s not suitable if your baby needs to nap by the pool. There are enough garden areas away from the pool for baby to nap.
Service: Staff are generally friendly and welcoming, but some policies and attitudes lack flexibility, especially for families with small children.
Facilities: Very green resort with lots of trees and gardens. No running track or space for jogging. Gym is a decent size and well equipped.
Overall: Feels more like 4 stars than true 5-star luxury.
