DoubleTree by Hilton Canton Downtown

We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree Hilton Downtown Canton. The hotel and rooms were spotless, and check-in was smooth with a genuinely warm welcome. Staff were friendly and professional throughout our visit, and the service was consistently excellent.||A special shout-out to Julie and Kara—amazing bartenders who made our evenings feel extra special. The morning bartenders were also fantastic, even though I didn’t catch their names. Their energy and attentiveness really stood out.||The location is great, close to restaurants and local attractions, and the overall vibe of the hotel was relaxed yet polished. Would absolutely stay again!

This was really a great little hotel! The service was very good, all the employees I interacted with seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction. Brunch was more than adequate albeit a bit overpriced but typical. My room was very clean and nicely equipped. Stay here if you’re in the Canton area. Oh yea, FREE street parking too!

Very nice hotel located in the heart of downtown Canton. Staff was very nice, they have a nice hotel bar. Parking is convenient. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to Benders Tavern, and across the street from “First Ladies National Park”. Downtown Canton is a “ghost town”, but we walked around a little, and felt safe, and no problem.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the design, both inside and out, is truly stunning, complemented by excellent security throughout the premises. The staff were warm and considerate, assisting my friend and me with our individual needs related to our disabilities. 😊 I eagerly anticipate returning if I ever have the chance to be in Canton again!

Stayed here this past week. If looking for close to downtown options, walking distance to some restaurants, hall of fame parade route, classic car museum, or even the Saxon house, stay here. The overnight front desk clerk and security officer (not sure their names) were beyond kind. Jake was helpful on the phone too. Breakfast isn’t included, but $18 for the buffet. Housekeeping are kind and helpful too. We slept well, water pressure great, and felt safe the entire time as a single mom and teen (and my older father for his two nights).

We had the best service ever at this location this weekend! The hotel has a wonderful outside bar that was quiet and cozy. Walking distance to loads of stuff. The staff was phenomenal!!! We needed some extra coffee and the sweet lady working the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. I wish I would have gotten the bartenders name and the front desk lady so I could personally express how you made out weekend!

Horrible breakfast in the restaurant buffet. Cold and tasteless with unprofessionally attired staff who require additional training. . No parking on site unless you count the garage across the street that charges $15. Hotel does not validate. We parked in the post office parking lot across the street. You're not told at check in but housekeeping services need to be requested the day before otherwise no clean towels, no garbage emptied, no coffee bar replenishment, no made bed. Requested service at 9 AM the following day, was told it was too late in the day to get anything but clean towels dropped off and the garbage emptied. If you want to pay cash for your Starbucks you may have a problem getting change. Was asked by the barista " You didn't want your change did you?" Elevator doors paint chipped and the floors not in the best of shape either. At check out front desk didn't know how to charge a different credit card than the one used to book the reservation. The room iself was nice and the lobby is attractive. But I doubt I'll ever stay here again if I can avoid it. Not a fun or relaxing experience.

This is a nicely remodeled hotel downtown. We used a parking deck across the street, accessed via a walkway. $16 a day to park. Very secure, can't get on a guest level without a room card to operate the elevator. Every member of the staff, including front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and bar area, were all very friendly and helpful with requests or questions. We had a dinner at a function at the hotel one of our nights. It was one of the best meals we've ever had at a meeting venue. We requested a couple bars of soap as we arrived in our room---within 5 minutes we had them. Rooms are only serviced if you request it. We didn't ask, and needed a couple towels on the 2nd day. We had them in 5 minutes. Little things like that add up to a great stay. You'd be happy to stay here.

The front desk staff at this hotel really made my stay special. From the moment I checked in to the time I checked out, they were incredibly professional and friendly. They provided top-notch customer service that made me feel truly valued. The hotel itself was beautifully designed with multiple inviting and cozy seating areas. I felt completely safe and at ease during my visit. I definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Great hotel and super friendly staff! We were in town this weekend for a cousin's college graduation dinner. We have a bunch of family that lives close but decided to book a room since we would be in Canton. Plus, I wanted to see some of the local sites. Checkin is at 4pm but was able to get in a bit early at 3pm. We were warmly greeted with a little gift bag of water and the famous double tree cookies. The hotel was recently renovated and they did an excellent job. It looks great. As a Diamond member, we lucked into a complementary Hilton Honors upgrade to a King Suite! I absolutely love when that happens and really appreciate it. The room was amazing. Comfy bed and plenty of space with the main room, the bedroom, and the bathroom. I really liked that the bathroom had that separate private toilet. If you have the Hilton Honors app you have TV controls built in. The room had a full size ironing board, two HD flatscreens, and a mini fridge. The hotel has an excellent fitness center and an indoor pool. We even worked in some indoor pool time this cold snowy December. I would absolutely stay here again. Only downside was the bedroom thermostat was offline and it was a bit cold (but the living room still worked, and oh there no hot tub. It looked like they made it a planter). We opted for the parking garage for a $8 fee which was so reasonable. Morning coffee is offered in the lobby and good food in the hotel restaurant. Definitely leaving 5 stars for quality and staff!

I was traveling with my kids and chose this hotel for them, because it has a pool and room service. Well, there was an issue with the TV that required a tech to come up, he did, and he fixed it. The room service wasn't really room service, you had to go down to the restaurant and pick it up, and I don't like leaving the kids alone in a hotel room. Lastly, the pool was out of order and no discount or even really an apology was offered. Finally, a man showed up while I was checking in, who looked like he was high on something. He couldn't produce identification or a credit card, but they let him pay cash and stay anyway. It seems like that might be against the law? At any rate, not a great place to stay.Oh yeah--and the parking situation isn't great. They recommended parking in the post office lot!

I was in for a convention and this was my second time. Last year they seemed ill prepared but a big improvement this time around. The front desk staff was always nice and helpful. They offered great information about alternative transportation offerings since Uber & Lyft were not always easy to get. They also handed out complementary panchos when it rained. The bar and restaurant were much better staffed this year and the workers were much more pleasant to deal with, they really did a nice job handling the large groups of people from our event. One issue was my room was never service. The room itself was clean upon checking and the bedding was comfortable. The first morning I was there I told them it wasn't necessary to service my room but I did expect them to service the room the following day. The following day I was out of my room at the conference from 10-4 and was surprised it hadn't been cleaned. I thought about calling to have it taken care of but honestly needed a nap before the next way of events began. The hotel offers a nice indoor pool and gym located on the 2nd floor. If in town it's a nice option to consider.

My wife and I had an excellent visit here, beginning with the incredibly welcoming greeting from Ky, who was staffing the reception desk (including the warm cookies, by the way). Ky was engaging, friendly, and helpful. The other staff people we met were unusually welcoming and friendly, too. Our room was excellent, spacious and well designed. The location is great, just a short walk to the Canton Classic Car Museum (a gem worth visiting even if you're not that into cars) and the beautiful Palace Theater.

Very clean and quiet. Front desk staff friendly and attentive. Inexpensive garage parking across the street.

The manager Candy was a lot of help and a great amount of loving her job was shown. I would recommend a stay here. It's easy to get to the airport and it's not to far from a nice shop

I called this location and was told they had one room available! So I said I would take the room and when the woman I was speaking to asked about the Hilton honors I said that I had the honor program. When she asked my account number and explained the points and how they would work she put me on hold because I questioned her about my account. When she came back she told me that the room I wanted was booked ! I asked her how she could do that to me and all she said was "sorry but we are all booked for the weekend " I told her she was very unprofessional with how she handled things and all she would say was "sorry " I went to another hotel, cheaper and more friendly!

Amazing staff! Check in was super easy from the app, but I wanted a key just in case. The front desk also got us warm cookies, bottled water, all with a wonderful attitude and friendly small talk. We randomly needed a pair of pliers to fix a hair accessory and they brought a pair up right away! The bar staff was great too, drink prices weren't bad. Breakfast was ok, about $20 for the buffet. Parking was a little inconvenient at $8 a day but I've seen worse. Walking distance to so many things made it an easy place to stay. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. No pen or paper in the room, which is probably a result of Covid, but this is the first time I needed it and didn't have it. Also only 2 towel were provided, so just ask for more right off the bat. My only complaint would be that when the Heater kicked on it was very loud for a few minutes, but once it got going to quieted down. It was a great stay with very friendly people. Will recommend!

Let me start if you are checking in during the night time. Justin and LaMonica are the best people!! Really nice people and respectable. The bar closes at 11 pm during the week but Justin and Monica treated my group and I like a family.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable beds. The sports bar is also really great with strong drinks.

Gorgeous room. Fast, courteous, and efficient service provided by the entire staff. Amazing COOKIES that I have come to expect from this chain too! All this and available for a very reasonable price. If you are planning a trip to this area, I would recommend this location!!

I attended a Chamber of Commerce event last week and the dinner they served was amazing! Serving 250 people is a challenge but the meal exceeded all my expectations. It was a perfectly cooked, juicy and tender chicken breast with a light sauce, no breading, with some herbs on top. Came with steamed vegetables and potato slices, also cooked just right. Everybody at my table ate every bite! Thank you DoubleTree of Canton!

Nicest hotel in canton. Understaffed, but so who isn't right now. Avoid the hash at breakfast.

Parking is a little bit of a walk through a bridge to hotel if you park on 3rd floor. Hotel is very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a quick trip to Gervasi Vineyard for our anniversary. Free cookies at desk was a great little snack after a long drive. I wish there were vending machines. Couldn't find any. Hotel pool was refreshing. No hot tub but very clean. Thanks

Let's start with the cookies! Complimentary and WARM!! Hearty and delicious! Second, the staff was great! They answers all questions and were courteous! The price was nice. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows! Magnificent! If you are ever in Canton stop here! Thanks for a memorable stay Doubletree!!! Of if you want a pillow you can get on online as they sell their linens! I got 2 pillows I loved them soooo much!

Just spent 4 nights at the hotel and it was a great experience. Welcoming and helpful staff, clean and modern hotel with a nice downtown location. The room was very nice and I loved the shower. A well appointed fitness center got my attention all but one day of our trip and on Sunday morning my husband and I had the pool all to ourselves for an hour which was quite a treat. Kudos to the front desk and breakfast buffet staff for making it a wonderful visit!

Great location and rooms seem recently updated. Found parking on street for no cost and overall very happy. Would definitely stay here again.

This renovated property is fabulous, the modern upgrades are breathtaking. The staff was kind, professional & friendly. I was there for several days at Thanksgiving and didn't want to leave.I'll be checking in for a few days for Christmas & I'm excited to return. Awesome accommodations!!!

Well I always like to try and have experience, but this experience is lack luster. I would think everyone would know how make a good hamburger if not a great. Sweet potato fries way to salty. Eggs dishes and grits and shrimp were good. Also please put ice in the water and juices I like thinking cold!!!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Very clean with a very plush and comfy bed. I love the bathroom with the bright mirror lights too. Great gym and pool. But the best thing about this fantastic hotel is the extraordinary service. Kimberly, Jennifer, Charles, the front desk sweetie who loves Disney and the housekeepers were absolutely delightful and accommodating. I highly recommend.
