When I arrived at this hotel, I was surprised to find out that the room we had booked had been sold to another guest! Despite the hotel’s confirmation of the reservation and the payment I had made, it seems that the hotel’s reservation management system is faulty. I found the staff, however, to be a trying to do there best, but their tools are not up to the task. I was also extremely surprised to see that, at the same time, three rooms were still available for booking on Booking.com, even though the hotel was fully booked! Thankfully, after 45 minutes of discussion, they managed to find a solution, and I didn’t have to go back out into the streets at 8 p.m. to search for a new hotel.

Told no room even with a paid reservation. Bottom line, this hotel would rather inconvenience YOU by having you drive to the front desk, then cancel your reservation (so app notifies you) or simlly calling you. Why? They hope you're a no show so they can make the extra $. Dollars over Hilton customers is what this hotel comes down to. Keep it up hotel until every review is filled with one's like ours.

Don’t believe the bad reviews, I’m not sure what these people are expecting! The hotel delivers what’s expected. Rooms are clean and very practical, parking is great and the location is great, quiet yet close enough from most places including the airport.

Lovely room and welcome from reception. What lets this hotel down are the over priced microwaved meals in the evening. One guy looking after the bar, the dining room and the microwave!! The meal came out cold. Once reheated it was overcooked. So bad that we decided not to have the breakfast the following morning. After travelling around Germany for the past two weeks, staying in a different hotel each night, this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in for food. Staying at cheaper hotels which provided freshly cooked meals in an evening. Loved the quirky bathroom!

The cleanliness of the room was a 3-star, but the hotel staff's hospitality is a 5-star! From the moment you arrive and leave, they are welcoming and helpful; however, the upkeep of the room we stayed in was not. Yes, I would stay here again simply because it’s a safe and welcoming place, but only for short stay.

Check in time was 15:00. Called them at 11:30 am to ask if by chance the room is avalible, can I check in early please. Staff said yes it is okay we give you the room early please come in. Arrived at the Reception 12:00 pm, was told NO, it is not ready, you can go away. I said if it is not ready why you said ready on the phone? I could have avoid coming in early. Staff just repeated the message and didn't even say SORRY.

Room was comfortable, quiet as well which is a plus but the dinner option here ruined the experience. I chose a hotel with one on site since I knew I needed to dine in at least 2 nights in my trip and what a god awful experience. First night I tried eating here one guy was running the entire area and bar. The service was slow and it took me 40 minutes just to be able to pay and go to bed. The worker disappeared to the front lobby and wouldn’t stay in the restaurant area. My final night I unfortunately had the same guy again but he had a helper. False sense of hope as it turns out since the colleague was as useless. After 20 minutes I got a menu and asked if I want a drink. Tried to go ahead and order and the guy told me I had to order from his colleague. 10 more minutes and the colleague never shows up. Another gentleman walks in, sits down and has a menu and drink immediately as well as his order taken. I went to the bar with my menu and asked why I’ve now waited 40 minutes while he helped someone else in 5. The guy didn’t care and tried to offer a beer when I came there for food. Needless to say I just ordered Uber eats instead. The dinner crew is a joke and not even capable of basic service. As a loyal diamond member I have to say I won’t be coming here anymore when coming to Frankfurt.

Not my first visit to this location, however this time no mention of my Diamond status at checkin, no cookie, and the room (Queen Deluxe, #602) was not the cleanest (dark spots on the duvet, brown spot on the carpet in front of the bed and questionable stain on the closet). Usually the hair dryer was in a drawer in the bathroom, already connected to power. This time a new hair dryer was in the drawer, no outlet anywhere in the bathroom near a mirror (had to plug it in by the tv) and you have to hold the retractable cord or it snaps back, which is sort of inconvenient while trying to dry your hair. Not sure what is going on, but was not impressed with my stay.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting customer service. Simply overbook your room and then leave you hanging at the middle of the night. Absolutely unacceptable. This is how they treat members

Yelp
We stayed 7 nights at this Doubletree hotel in Frankfurt, Germany . This hotel is within walking distance to the Deutsche Bank Park Stadium, which is why we chose this hotel. We walked to and from the concert ( about a 40 minute walk). The hotel is very modern with a lot of attractive LED lighting creating a fun atmosphere. The rooms are pretty good size and beds are comfortable. The shower is transparent and situated in the main room with a separate bathroom. Rooms have refrigerators. Breakfast is quite good with a lot of items to choose from. When we checked in, MANUEL was on duty. He was honest and upfront about the Air Conditioning not currently working in rooms. This was not welcome news, since the weather was warm. He gave us a free drink coupon for the bar, which was appreciated. He also gave us a room on the North Side. The rooms have very large windows with a side window that only opens a small amount- which prevents a good breeze from the outside once night comes and it cools down. The A/C was not operational in the rooms for our entire stay. There are really nice fans in the rooms that do a good job of cooling. The other issue the hotel currently has is that only one of the two elevators is working. At times, this causes a long queue. The staff are very nice, and especially EVS ( MUKHTAR & HAMID) and Breakfast ( JULIA And NICO). VANESSA at the bar was also great. If the air conditioning was working, I would rate a 5. If your planned stay will be during hot weather, you may want to call ahead and see if the A/C is fixed. The Reception and Dining Areas do have A/C. I would also recommend requesting a room facing the North ( only about 15% of rooms) .
