DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad

The rooms have no air conditioner and I was told by another guests that it has been like this for months. This information is no where, if I would have known I would have not booked this hotel. It is summer and by 10:30 pm we were at 29 C so you can imagine were hot hot nights, so I do not recommend this hotel at all

Literally the hotel from Hell. Absolutely no air conditioning. Window only opens a few centimeters so the rooms don't even cool down when it gets cold at night. Easily 26+ in my room all night. And the mosquitos. In my room! In Germany! I finally woke up, turned all of the lights on and killed 6 of them. Don't know how many times I got bitten while trying to sleep without covers due to how hot it was. Bedding was dirty in several spots. Elevator was broken. There was never any body at the front desk. Restaurant and bar were closed the 3 days I was here. Parking stubs never worked to get out of the car park. This truly had to be the worst Hilton on the planet.

Beautiful new hotel in a less popular area of Frankfurt. Was there for a concert, 40 minutes walk and you are at the stadium. The hotel self is exactly what you expect from it. The two things to be careful with - AC is not working properly (we were lucky as the day wasn't too hot, so the opened window was a quick fix). Second is the design of a shower in the middle of the room. Not a big fan of this design, but some might find it functional. The breakfast was great, with a decent choice and very friendly service. Good hotel for a short stay.

Here and then I tried this Hotel.. during Winter times, Spring and Summer and always the rooms were to hot, even during Winter: 26 Grad. And like others wrote , years ago: there is no AC in Summerimes at all. If > 26 C is the best temperature for you to sleep, then you are here right.. but only then. A Hilton without Air-conditioning... Wow.. why then a Hilton?

Great value but not the usual Doubletree that you would expect. Ac was not working, had to change rooms. Also the door latch was not working for both rooms. Breakfast average and basic. Bed was very comfortable 👍 Location , nothing much around the area. Suitable for short transit stay near airport. Very minimal staff.

3am and about 85 degrees F in the room. No AC! Reviews from over a year ago complaining about lack of AC for a worldwide chain is appalling that it hasn’t been addressed. Middle of a heat wave in Europe and provide no respite. Even worse - windows cannot be opened to allow for even a cool breeze to come through. Do NOT book this hotel if coming between June and August.

Disappointed with the airconditioning in the room, the control panel seemed broken & the room was warm all the time, not something you like especially during summer periods! The bathroom was smacked in the middle of the room & the shampoo & conditioner holders are broken! Complained to the reception to nothing was done to rectify the problem. Breakfast was ok though. Just sufficient to pass off as decent. But waiting staff was very courteous.

It's a business hotel, that's about it, which means comfortable, unremarkable, and overpriced. They charge for everything from parking to coffee. The showers are kind of interesting, but actually pretty annoying because the entire room feels like you're in the bathroom the entire time.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Simply overbook your room and then leave you hanging at the middle of the night. Absolutely unacceptable. This is how they treat members

We stayed 7 nights at this Doubletree hotel in Frankfurt, Germany . This hotel is within walking distance to the Deutsche Bank Park Stadium, which is why we chose this hotel. We walked to and from the concert ( about a 40 minute walk). The hotel is very modern with a lot of attractive LED lighting creating a fun atmosphere. The rooms are pretty good size and beds are comfortable. The shower is transparent and situated in the main room with a separate bathroom. Rooms have refrigerators. Breakfast is quite good with a lot of items to choose from. When we checked in, MANUEL was on duty. He was honest and upfront about the Air Conditioning not currently working in rooms. This was not welcome news, since the weather was warm. He gave us a free drink coupon for the bar, which was appreciated. He also gave us a room on the North Side. The rooms have very large windows with a side window that only opens a small amount- which prevents a good breeze from the outside once night comes and it cools down. The A/C was not operational in the rooms for our entire stay. There are really nice fans in the rooms that do a good job of cooling. The other issue the hotel currently has is that only one of the two elevators is working. At times, this causes a long queue. The staff are very nice, and especially EVS ( MUKHTAR & HAMID) and Breakfast ( JULIA And NICO). VANESSA at the bar was also great. If the air conditioning was working, I would rate a 5. If your planned stay will be during hot weather, you may want to call ahead and see if the A/C is fixed. The Reception and Dining Areas do have A/C. I would also recommend requesting a room facing the North ( only about 15% of rooms) .
