I’ve stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Niederrad many times over the years, and while it’s generally reasonable and functional, it consistently lacks attention to detail.
On two occasions, the air conditioning broke down during the summer - once I was informed in advance by email (which I appreciated), but the other time I only found out at check-in. Small things also make a difference: no welcome cookies, no bottled water in the rooms, and as a Diamond member, upgrades are rare to non-existent.
At breakfast, the signage is often missing or mixed up, and the overall experience just feels like the hospitality element is being overlooked.
It’s not a bad place to stay, but I really wish the team would care a bit more about the guest experience and the little touches that make Hilton feel like Hilton.
