This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Hilton Iquitos, and with each visit, we find new reasons to return. On this most recent trip, we were pleasantly surprised to see several improvements that made our experience even more enjoyable. All the seating around the pool area has been upgraded — new chairs, tables, and loungers — and the overall pool maintenance is noticeably better. Everything feels refreshed and well cared for.
One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Chef Yian Chin truly impressed us with his creative and innovative dishes. We had seen some of his work on Facebook, which made us even more excited to try his cuisine in person. My favorite was the causa with lomo saltado — a perfect fusion of tradition and bold new flavor. (Sharing a photo below!)
Special thanks as always to MariaJoset, who made the booking process smooth and welcoming. She always makes us feel at home and even helped us with an early checkout. Also, a shout-out to Luisa at reception, who made our check-in quick and seamless.
We truly enjoyed our time here — and without a doubt, we’ll be back again.
