DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The people were kind and tried their best to go above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant experience. The location is tucked away and close to everything. Aside from some police sirens due to being located downtown, the area itself is quiet. I felt secure and safe. The view was excellent as well. I would like to thank the staff and the front desk clerk for my birthday cheesecake. That was so kind!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They were able to accommodate an early check in and Christopher was kind enough to escort me to the elevators and show me how to access the guest floors. My room was huge, very comfortable, and had a great view of the city. Very minimal noise from the street. Housekeeping was done daily. The hotel is a short walk from the St. Patrick subway station and the immediate neighborhood has lots of restaurants and shops. This place was a great base camp for a Toronto trip and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay here! First of all, the staff was AMAZING. We were there during such a busy time (I'm sure the staff must have been exhausted) and I was so impressed with the high level of customer service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I'm sorry we didn't get everyone's names but a special shout out to Christopher at check-out. They offered us yummy warm cookies upon arrival - such a nice touch after a chilly walk from Union Station. The lobby was decorated for the Eras tour. We arrived early (too early for check in) for the Taylor Swift concert so the staff offered access to the pool locker room so the girls could get ready. Room was ready on time as promised, which was great considering how busy they must have been. I loved the hotel itself- charming curb appeal, awesome retro staircase in lobby, cozy feeling overall. We've stayed at larger, newer, "shinier" more expensive hotels in Toronto and this was, by far, my favourite. We stopped by the hotel restaurant for drinks and the service there was impeccable and drinks were great. Thank you for an awesome visit. We'll be back!

Service was great, they even offered a warm cookie when checking in. Rooms were mostly clean. I noticed in the shower that there was some pieces of hair stuck on the wall which was gross considering, my partner and I did not shower yet. I didn't enjoy the smell in the lobby, as it was strong. But other than that, the overall stay was quite nice and I would plan to stay here again when in the area.

Amazing bathroom, nice beds, and exceptional breakfast. The floors conveniently have many elevators and stairs to use to get to. The only thing I don't like is how an employee/janitor comes into your room and tidies up the room even if you aren't there which makes me a bit uncomfortable with leaving my stuff in there. View varies if it's good or not depending on the room.

We stayed one night 2/7 and everything was good except the "comforter" on the king bed was lumpy and when you held it up in the light you could see where all the filling gathered in random spots, really gross, we didn't use and didn't have the energy to ask for replacement at 9pm...when I checked out in the am I let them know, hopefully so someone else doesn't have to use it. Bar area was very nice and staff was pleasant, they have really good snack mix at the bar to have with your beer 🍺. I didn't use pool or sauna, area was clean and would have if we had more time.

Wow !😱 they treated my daughter very nice ! The breakfast is a must ! Very fresh and delicious! Rooms were very clean! Housekeeping kept our room so tidy they even folded our clothes we left laying on the bed ! We worried about nothing while we enjoying our first time in Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️ thank you 🙏

My second time staying at this hotel and will probably be the last. First problem occurred at check in when my room wasn’t available until 4:30. After bringing my bags upstairs to get to my room and realize the key didn’t work, had to back downstairs to get a new one. A few hours later i left the hotel and came back to find the key not working again. Had to get a 3rd key. After sleeping a few hours later the fire alarm starts going off at 5am and was a false alarm coming from the condo that’s connected. Location is good. Service was ok. My suite was outdated in my opinion.
