This was our second time staying at the Lisbon Doubletree and it was a wonderful stay. The service was excellent and the staff was incredibly accommodating the entire time we were there. Breakfast staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Selection was good, they had all the typical Portuguese pastries and a nice selection of hot items. We left really early in the morning and the young woman who was on the overnight at the front desk was so wonderful in bringing us water and coffee with our early departure. Amazing service. Design is a bit cold and sterile, but service made up for it. In comparison, we had a reservation at the Emerald House the last time we were in Lisbon and checked out and stayed in the Doubletree because of the not so great experience we had there.

What makes the stay so excellent is the staff. They are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When we booked we let the front desk know it was our honeymoon. And they had left very nice handwritten message for us along with a dessert and a bottle of champagne. The front desk staff were very knowledgable of the local area and made an excellent recommendation for dinner, the breakfast staff were excellent as well. Based on our experience and the quality of service we received, we would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

If you're looking for a hotel in Lisbon's city center but away from the tourist crowds, I would recommend this place. While I didn't find the interior design—mainly chipboard paneling and furniture—particularly impressive, the room itself meets Hilton standards. The bed is very comfortable, and the automatic blinds effectively block out sunlight. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is served in a small room with limited variety, but made-to-order egg options help enrich the meal. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional.

Nice 3 star to 4 star hotel. Rooms are nice but could use some maintenance and more through cleaning. Service is excellent. They seem to be a little short staffed. Had difficulty finding appropriate electrical outlets for charging. Would definitely return.

We arrived slightly stressed as our baggage had been delayed having missed a connecting flight. The welcome and care we got from Shamila and her team could not have been better. She provided us with some basic items and even completed the baggage claims process online as we had been unable to do this ourselves. In addition, she directed us to local stores to buy those immediate necessaries not available from the hotel. This was a great welcome and start to our stay here.|The hotel is modern inside and feels a little dark with the decor, but this should not detract from a stay. Having seen the online room images, we chose to upgrade our room so we ensured bright interior decor - we also chose the courtyard view. There appear to be two parts to the hotel and we were shown how to access the elevators to our room. The breakfast room is bright and welcoming, the food buffet extensive and there is the option for additional cooked items, some at a fee if you don't want buffet. Fernando and his breakfast team could not have been more welcoming and efficient.|If there is one negative that I could foresee is that our room, no.205, was directly overlooking the covered outdoor courtyard. During our visit in March, this was quiet, but I wonder if this is the same during the warmer months when guests might use this space for drinks and socialising. I wouldn't be put off staying in this room - just take ear plugs to ensure you get a good nights sleep. On the plus side, the king size bed was super comfy, the pillows excellent and we loved the coffee machine with pods. The bathroom amenities were also very welcome when your baggage is 24 hours late arriving!

First of all, this review has nothing to do with the staff at the hotel who were amazing!||The rest is beyond what I would EVER have expected from a Doubletree. The design and colors of the hotel made us feel like we were walking into a jail, torture chamber or mental institution. EVERYTHING in the hotel is BLACK - dark, depressing and very weird. I had a horrible feeling everytime I entered the hotel from the dark lobby to the elevatiors to the weirdest hallways to the rooms. Everything was black, the carpets, the doors, the walls. It was totally freeky. Then you step into the room and while 2 walls were painted white, the rest of the room is guess what….black.||The bathroom- I don’t know where to even begin. Again all black. The tub had a half door and the grab bar was all the way at the front near the faucets. The tub was high to climb in and out of and absolutely nothing to hold on to. EXTREMELY dangerous and slippery. Then there was a glass that was the wall between the tub and the bedroom.||You get a clear view of the person taking a shower. We were a couple, but it still was not very comfortable watching that. And the minute the light goes on in the bathroom it shines right into the bedroom. So much for one trying to sleep while the other was in the bathroom. There was no way to block out that light.||The toilet was in a separate areas with mirrors on every wall. REALLY???||Do I need to watch myself on the toilet.||And because all the walls in the bathroom were glass or mirrors, there was no where to hang face towels. Very useless design.||There were only two plugs in the room and with my husband using a CPAP machine that left only one to use in the whole room.||This was the freakist experience overall that I have ever had in a hotel.||I recommend NO ONE should stay at this hotel. A total waste of money.||I never had an other experience like this anywhere, let alone a Hilton brand I love.

Hilton Diamond Member here: Pro: - King deluxe room with a view of the beautiful purple trees and a big white bathroom (with bath tub + shower) with toilet and bidet facing each other. - Pretty close to the airport 15 min? - The neighborhood is safe to walk around and very quiet. Con: - 15 min car ride or 35-40 min walk to the city center and tourist things so it felt far but we knew that when booking. - We got no upgrade upon check-in despite the availability and had to ask for it later. - No description of daily credits. - Upgraded room was bigger because it was an accessibility room but the condition looked like the attached pictures with a view to the courtyard, which I would not recommend because it’s a lot of windows… so you’ll have to keep your windows closed 90% of the time. - Smart TV for google chrome cast but youtube and Netflix does NOT work. - The room’s wall is basically a giant lack screen but the TV itself is tiny — maybe 35 inches at best with Portuguese channels. You have to squint to read words on the screen. FYI: - You’ll need to request any amenities beyond shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that’s already in the room

Very modern looking hotel. Service was amazing. They even left a nice little gift in the room as a Hilton honors member. The fitness center was small but had enough to do a workout and was well maintained. Had temperature issues at one point which they immediately sent maintenance to fix. Nice location outside the busy area of Lisbon. There is also a train station 4 min walk away which was convenient.
