On the Grid : DoubleTree by Hilton

"After eating/drinking your fill, walk into the DoubleTree (pretend you’re a guest... a rolling suitcase helps) and head up to the “G” level. Make a right and walk into an oasis above the city. The botanical gardens are quiet, undiscovered and really nice looking at sunset. Only the truly motivated local will find this place - and aren’t we all just seeking a nice place to chill for free?" - Sandwich Video

We had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Pomona while attending a business conference. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable — a perfect place to unwind after a long day. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.|We especially enjoyed dining at Vita Italian Bar and Grill. Both the food and the service were excellent, and the bar area was a nice place to relax in the evenings.|It was also a surprisingly quiet and restful place, even with multiple events going on. We had the chance to meet the General Manager, who impressed us with how she handled the busy weekend with calm, care, and a genuine smile. It was clear her team respected and enjoyed working with her, which really stood out.|The location was convenient, with easy access to several freeways, and the view from the property was a nice bonus. And of course — who doesn’t love their famous, warm cookies?|We will happily stay here again next time we are in the area.

Don’t stay here!!! We stayed here in 2021 and it was newly renovated. We had the best experience, everything was clean and the front desk staff were so kind! We just returned for another stay (total of 6 days) and it was very disappointing. The hotel is so run down and DIRTY! The floors and carpet are filthy, they do not mop them or vacuum. The ceiling in the lobby was leaking water and there was a bucket there catching the water for 3 days before anyone fixed it. The rooms are also dirty. We walked into our room and it smelled like urine! The lamp had a bulb going on so it flickered when on. The curtains were heavily stained… The towels were stained and so was the blanket on the bed. Housekeeping would come daily and remove all towels (even if they were clean) and leave us with nothing. Every day we would ask them for towels and they would tell us they have none. When we went to the front desk they apologized each day and then sent towels up so not sure what the issue was there. The gym was also very dirty. No towels were available in there every single day of our stay, just an empty shelf. The floor and machines were very dirty, and most of the machines were broken/not well maintained. Just outside the gym is the hot tub and pool. Again no pool towels available every single day of our stay, just an empty shelf. The pool and hot tub have not been cleaned, full of debris. There was a family with lots of kids in there daily, swimming with their clothes on and eating in the pool. Garbage all over the place and it was never cleaned up. They also advertise a “breakfast buffet” for $18 a person. I was appalled at their idea of a breakfast buffet. It included rotten fruit, stale/dry pastries, egg beaters that were overcooked, and yogurt that was not sitting on ice so it was runny and warm. I will say the front desk staff was wonderful and this has to be the only reason this hotel is even open still. No idea what happened but this place went downhill and we will not be back.

5 Stars – Excellent Stay for Our Team!||We had an amazing experience at this hotel! Our group needed accommodations for my son's sports team, which travels frequently, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless—perfect for relaxing after a long day of games. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, making check-in smooth and offering great local recommendations. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality. Highly recommend for both team travel and family stays!||A special shoutout to Vitas—they were fantastic for cocktails! Great atmosphere and drinks, the perfect spot for the adults to unwind in the evening.

4/5 Stars - Great Rooms, Needs Better Maintenance** Just stayed at the DoubleTree Pomona and had a mixed experience. The rooms are definitely the highlight - spacious with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Really appreciated having the extra space after a long day. The customer service was excellent throughout my stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and any requests were handled promptly and professionally. However, the property could really benefit from better housekeeping attention. The elevator tracks were visibly dirty, and the floors throughout the common areas need more frequent cleaning. It's clear the housekeeping team is focusing on the guest rooms (which were clean), but the public spaces are being overlooked. Overall, it's a solid choice for the roomy accommodations and great service, but management should invest more in maintaining the common areas to match the quality of everything else.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The first time it was a much better experience. This time, the room seemed a little rundown. The restaurant didn’t plate the food in an attractive way this time. Last time my pasta was plated like a dish worthy of a $30 price tag. This time is was a bowl of pasta like you would get at a diner. The food was still good, just the presentation was lacking. They are currently remodeling the lobby, so the big beautiful window view area is all boarded up, so there is no area to chill or get some work done. Disappointing experience this time.

Google
For the amount you pay, the room is just okay. I was actually pretty surprised by that. Also, all toiletries were empty and I noticed a very gross reddish/brown slime that was inside the shampoo/conditioner bottle attracted in the shower. I immediately contacted the front desk and they said they would fix the issue. It never was, over the next few day and then we checked out. I tried reaching out several times and literally nothing was done. The room was pretty.dirty, basic, and expensive. I was shocked that nothing was done and I was still charged top dollar for the room. 100% not going back to a Hilton any time soon if that’s how they run things. I even made a complaint to them directly and have heard nothing back.

Google
Great for six people at a bargain rate. The room includes 2 double beds plus a sofa bed can also sleep two. Breakfast is okay but can’t compare to full 5 stars hotel breakfast, but met my expectation. Have a Wendy’s beside as well.

This hotel is great for families! The front desk staff was great and so was the manager. I would come back and recommend to my family. I love the views of the mountains and the clean hotel room. It look like a great venue for event too. We had a larger family so the sofa bed makes a difference.

Yelp
They let us check in early which was so great! We got complimentary cookies too. The employee who checked us in was wonderful and funny. I wish I remembered his name because he was the best. The room was clean, nice and spacious for my sister and I. We will be back!

Yelp
They had a bunch of ants everywhere and we couldn't sleep at night because of the ants crawling on our beds, we didn't even ask for a refund just to reduce our late fee and still they didn't care, gave us horrible attitude, and don't tryna blame these on me saying we eating in the hotel like you guys always does. There's a big stain on the AC that you guys didn't clean well and also which hotel won't let guest enjoy their food in the room? So stop tryna blame on me about it like you guys does to other 1 star review that you guys deserved! Also one of the Asian ladies around 40-50 years old has a horrible horrible horrible attitude like who she think she is?

Sunny L.

Yelp
Room overall was spacious (king with sofa bed), but there were bugs flying around during the two nights I was there, as well as ants in the bathroom, on the toilet and sink area. There was a cut out behind the bed, not sure if that's where the insects were coming from. I stayed on the first floor, so maybe that was my mistake. Curtains were kind of busted so it was difficult to open/close for natural light. Parking here is weird because of all the inclines, although there is covered parking/garage available, and charge $10/day, which is annoying as a guest that's already paying for the stay. Gym has two treadmills but one is out of order and the other's screen was gross/nasty. Fire alarm also went off twice at 2am.

Yelp
I found a random nasty bug on this hotels and it really makes me feel disgusting, im the vip and I was trying to talk to the front desks about it but an lady showed me a horrible attitude saying that I only paid 50 I don't deserve any compensation, this really makes me mad and feel disgusting about the attitude and this hotel.

Charlie

Yelp
Worst experience of my life and iam a VIP and they treated me like a normal member and had horrible attitude

Yelp
As a Hilton diamond member, I have been to a bunch of these places. The service here was top notch for sure. The facility was nicely remodeled as well as clean. Pretty much everything was very good as I have come to expect from a Doubletree. Very important for me was a great TV which I was easily able to plug my Apple TV into the HDMI port so I had all of my apps and shows. The only negative, and it was a shocker, was the super noisy floor above me. I don't know if the floors are very thin at this hotel, but I could hear the person walking around above me while my TV was on. When I was in the hallway, waiting for the elevator. I could hear the person walking in the hallway above me. It was completely insane. Very glad not much was going on in the room above me, or I would not have been able to sleep. Recommend staying on the third floor, the top.

Yelp
I was able to check in on the app earlier in the day, but didn't get the option to choose my room on the app as I usually do at a Doubletree. We checked in at 6 pm and still no digital key - it said still preparing room. I had to line up at the check in desk to get my room and keys. When I went up to the room, there were two big empty alcoholic punch boxes outside my room - likely left by the neighbor's room and I was not going to be next door to a group that is partying all night so I called the front desk and they were willing to move me to another room and floor away from there, which was nice. Had to go back down to the front desk to get the new keys - they had no cookies ready but said to come by in an hour and they would be ready. I moved to the new room, checked back an hour later and there were warm cookies! The computer office was not working but they were willing to print what I needed, which was nice. The hotel was overall very clean and modern and our room was super quiet!! Also their room thermostat is good - it's a wall unit , not one of those old fashioned noisy air conditioners like so many motels have by the window. Shower wasn't super powerful but it was very clean and they provided enough towels and it was hot. The hotel is located on a hill and we didn't have a problem parking. It was $10/night to park - fyi. Also had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant Vita Italian so check that place out there when you stay here.

Yelp
I came to this location for a wedding ceremony and reception. The restrooms were not fully stocked with seat covers for the toilet and the paper towel dispenser wasn't working which was a bit frustrating for guests. On the plus side, they're were decently clean. My biggest concern is the serving staff at the reception. The bartender had an attitude with quite a few guests which is disappointing considering it was supposed to be a celebratory event! It's a wedding! They also were not the most coordinated when they served everyone beverages for the toasts from the bridal party. Not everyone at my table was given champagne or cider even after asking a few times until finally I was able to find another server. But she was annoyed because she had to fill three glasses... it was a bit bizarre. Maybe the staff needed to be briefed a bit better because it just felt messy. The food was adequate. We had Caesar salad, potato salad, wild rice, seasoned veggies, roast, and salmon. I and other guests became very gassy and bloated from the food. But on the plus side, the food didn't taste bad. Parking was pretty easy. We parked in the underground structure and did not have any difficulty finding available space.

Yelp
Stayed at this location for a few days, and was treated extremely well! Christopher Graham helped Me, and was very informative on many of the restaurants around, and I even enjoyed the on property Italian Restaurant. I was also glad to find they have EV Chargers in there covered underground parking. I will stay here again when I come back for more business!!! Thank You Christopher, JayR

Yelp
Stayed here the other night and it was a phenomenal experience. Booked direct using points and was able to check-in via my Hilton app and select my desired check-in time. Although I wasn't able to select my room this time around, I was provided a room high level, away from the elevator and freeway making for a quiet experience. The digital key worked flawlessly as I received a notification on my app that my digital key was ready. Upon arrival, the entire experience was contactless. Leveraged my digital key to use the lift to my floor and open my door. As a Gold member, I was upgraded which was a nice surprise. The room and property have been extensively upgraded from the bottom up with nothing left behind. The elevator was modern, the hallways had thick plush carpet. The room was bright with a large TV, mini fridge, mini microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom was bright with quality toiletries, decent water pressure, and quality fluffy towels that were super clean. Wifi was complimentary and worked well. The TV had numerous premium channels although I only found out while scrolling through the channels that the channel guide is on the TV guide channel! The mattress was comfortable although a tad lumpy. It felt like a lower end bonnell spring mattress with a pillowtop. The sheets, blanket, and pillows were all good quality. The window HVAC unit was controlled via the wall controller and was on the noisier end...

Yelp
This hotel is a great place to stay at. The reception area is very well designed. My hotel room has all of its necessities and met the standard needs. What I mostly loved about it was the restaurant, it has some of the best food I have had! The breakfast buffet was alright. But the pool was smaller than expected. Pretty good place to stay at!

Yelp
I actually really enjoyed my stay here, the hotel was pretty booked but wasn't too expensive. The restaurant and bar was really nice! The whole place is pretty new which gives it a nice modern vibe but the hotel lobby kind of has a Palm Springs retro modern feel to it. The drinks at the bar are delicious and very well prepared by the bar tenders! The food was also really delicious, and they offered room service which was great! I loved the rooms, comfy beds, very clean and beautiful view. I liked the pool area too, some shade, some sunlight, hidden away even though it's next to the parking lot. Planning on staying here again!

Yelp
We had a weekend getaway to go to the L.A. County Fair. This DoubleTree was a short drive from the Fairplex so we gave them a shot. The hotel is located on top of a hill so it's a little tricky parking as lots of drivers kept on going down the wrong way. However, if you can't find parking outside they have a one-way covered parking garage just past the front. Check-in was easy peasy and we stayed in room 242 (king-sized bed) for two nights. First thing we always do whenever we stay anywhere is wipe down/disinfect everything we would touch (counters, remote, switches, sofa, table, etc.). They were all clean but the floor was a little grimy (my white socks turned black walking back/forth). The walls were thin so you can hear everyone in the halls, everyone in the rooms around you, and the traffic outside. Speaking of - the walls and doors were pretty worn down and scuffed up. We inspected the bed and saw there were a couple of stains in the sheets. We called the front and asked for some new ones. Someone came about ten minutes later and dropped them off like I was supposed to change the sheets myself. When I asked for help, they came back another five minutes later with another person to change the sheets. It was kind of weird since they originally didn't think there was anything wrong with the sheets until we pointed out the stains to them in Spanish (no need to be in disbelief and get defensive if someone points out something's dirty). I'm glad they changed them though because I originally didn't realize that the sheets had a tear in one of the corners. Since we've stayed at DoubleTree's before, it's become evident that their elevators are just the worst. You need to swipe your room card to access the second or third floors. The twist is that the reader only works if you swipe your card 4-5 times. I don't know which genius decided this elevator company was best to use for all their hotels, but they all suck. Literally every single time we got in an elevator with other guests, they always complained about how bad/wonky the elevator system is and how long they've been waiting. And the ice machine smelled like vomit so we got to thoroughly enjoy the stank whenever we waited as it's right next to the elevators. Parking can be tricky due to the hill and because they share the same lot/garage with their restaurant. There was a biker gathering one day with at least 20+ bikers taking over the parking area. We didn't want to risk losing our parking space so we stayed in and instead got to enjoy listening to them revving up for hours. The next day there was a graduation... very weird mix of people here. Overall it's not the best but not the absolute worst either. 2.5 is a fair rating but the complimentary cookies at check-in rounds it up to 3.

Yelp
My room was very clean and fresh. The grounds were clean and well kept. The entrance is a bit strange and the parking is much better in the garage. The over all style and decor are very good. Clean and well layer out. I enjoyed the wide ope. Window views and the restaurant is good. Pricy but good. I didn't like that it closed by 10 with no other open bar. Breakfast is at a charge as well. Coffee was complementary and pretty good. I would definitely stay again.

Yelp
First time visiting this Hotel. Overall what negative can you say? Staff was nice, place was clean, restuarant attached to this Hotel is just so adorable. Room was a good size. Simply just a nice set up. I would most definitely stay here again.

James A.

Yelp
It was distressing to step barefoot on a large brown cockroach in the bathroom on the morning of checkout. According to WebMD, "studies show that cockroaches are responsible for the spread of 33 types of bacteria, six varieties of parasitic worms, and seven types of pathogens. Cockroaches can spread germs and diseases including: diarrhea, cholera, typhoid fever, leprosy, dysentery, plague, poliomyelitis, salmonella, (and) E. coli." The reaction when I reported this to the front desk and showed them a picture was less than reassuring. The canned answer by an apparently bored front desk agent was disappointing at this otherwise nice property. I hope the management takes quick and effective measures to address the problem. The general manager emailed me with an offer for a few Hilton Honors points.

Yelp
Beautiful place. We were there for a retirement party. The hall that was used was nice and big. It was very cold though. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

Yelp
Just checked out about 2 hours ago. Very comfortable beds and very clean and spacious room. Checking in with you guys man who was very nice and helpful. Checking with a Silvia who never even said "good morning " , thank you, how was your stay, would you need breakfast "? Nothing no smile either. I asked if she had cookies and she answered "yes" and handed them to me and nothing else was said to us! I will keep staying at Hiltons but people like this don't need to be working with public. First time this happened. Didn't offer receipt or tell me when deposit would be returned.

Yelp
Very nice upscale looking decor. I attended an event hear so the review is not for the rooms. It was a large hall for at least maybe 200 people. Room for a dance floor a banquet table, dessert table, and a small bartender. The staff was friendly when asked questions at the front desk. If the food was provided by the Doubletree then it was terrible dinner. Dry over cooked chicken. Dry over cooked salmon. Not their fault if they weren't the caterer but if they were...definitely taste a food sample first. Just terrible and inedible. The chairs and decor was very nice but not sure how much decor they may provide. The parking lot is confusing but you can park anywhere for the event even though it says on the signs that you need a room to park there.

Yelp
Nice hotel and very clean. Room was spacious and they have a nice hotel restaurant that does breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. Lots of options on the menu. Lots of parking at the hotel and safe area.

Yelp
Easy location off the freeway, the concierge was extremely friendly and quick, the elevator is not in the lobby so it kind of sucks to walk the entire length of the building to go up a floor then walk the entire length again, depending on where your room is. My room was very nice, very clean and well stocked. The conjoined door between rooms is kind of thin so so be warned. Overall, I liked my stay here very much

Sandra ..

Yelp
Depending on the location, the Claremont was a lovely hotel (lobby, restaurant and bar even have a lovely patio). But the rooms are NOT worth $300+ a night.

Yelp
Well I found myself coming to this establishment via Lifeline screening. If you have a family history of heart attack or strokes which of my family does. They do a test to check your different areas to make sure you're not in distress and need a stent or anything more serious it's purely preventative measures. You get a list of services for $139 I believe. So I was leaving one of the meeting rooms where it was being held and decided hey it's lunch time!!!! Why not treat myself to lunch and a LOOK SEE MISSION. OH BOY!!! Was I impressed. They have good size meeting rooms for parties receptions. And oh my goodness the bar is enormous plenty of room beautiful ambiance. The servers were very attentive.. I only had iced tea but oh it was so good everything my lasagna was as if I was eating it for the first time in Italy. I'm not joking people!! Woo HOO best food this side of the Pecos I'll tell you what! Russell on down and treat yourself to a wonderful experience. Bon appetit

Yelp
I absolutely Love this hotel. I stayed here twice and the Rooms are really clean and Nice... Beds are very Comfortable, This Hotel is well kept, One of the reasons I keep staying here, is because of how well kept and clean the Rooms are, The Staff is very Nice and attentive, When you call for front desk and ask for something they bring it right away and you don't have to wait forever, Not to mention the fresh Cookies they give you at check-in they are absolutely delicious, They also have a Italian Restaurant with a Rooftop Bar which is pretty cool... I will be coming back to Stay at this Hotel many more times, As I really enjoy this Hotel.

Yelp
Just by looking at it on the exterior I was not impressed and expecting it to be a run down dump. To my surprise when I entered the lobby and decor was pretty modern. Front desk check in was extremely easy and friendly staff. We got 2 water bottles and cookies. You have to eat the cookie right away when it's hot and fresh... the next day it dried out. The room we got had a queen and a sofa couch, really roomy. Came with a mini fridge. The bathroom was nice with a walk in shower, double vanity, all amenities included. The bed was very comfortable, it wasn't hot or squishy... bed frame made noises. The bad- the doors were paper thin or something, you can hear every foot step and everyone talking in the hallway. The ceiling was also thin, or unless we had some rhinos above us... it was very loud. I felt like they were sprinting across the room every time they walked around. Otherwise I couldn't hear the left or right neighbor. Just top and outside. The pool was an afterthought. Location is kinda dead. It's not an area you'll book to experience a night in town. More of business. Located near a Wendy's, 7-11 and freeway. If I needed to stay in the area, I'll likely return. I also wish they allow dogs.

Yelp
03/06/2021 Headed to LA to do a drive by family baby shower and decided to stay a night here after spending time with family and having a nice dinner. This place was located less than 10 minutes from my Aunty's house. It's clean and modern. Got some free cookies at check in. Swimming pool is by reservation. Don't ask me how much is it cause I have an awesome cousin who paid for our night stay through their timeshare points. But I know parking was $7 a night. Wendy's is literally across the hotel if your hungry. Slept comfortably. So far so good! If your around Diamond Bar area and need a place to stay. I would recommend this place! Hope your stay will be as pleasant as ours!

Yelp
The Doubletree in Pomona was previously the Shiloh Inn and was recently renovated to the Doubletree a few years ago. The updates are nice, but I have to say that the rooms appear to be beaten up already. The rooms are decent size and come appointed with the usual accoutrements that one would expect in a modern hotel room. The rooms could also be a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom, which had some mold in the shower. The staff were very friendly, especially the Manager, Chris. He was very accommodating and reminded me to use my food & beverage credit, which is part of my Hilton Honors Gold status. He even waived the parking fee. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. Yes, it could be cleaner, but the hotel staff are great. Also, there are several freeways nearby (57, 10, 60, 71, and the 91) and it's a short drive to many of the attractions Southern California has to offer.

Yelp
My kids and I we're definitely let down with our stay at this hotel (really motel). I read the reviews and was skeptical before I booked but because the hotel was so close to Cal Poly, which was convenient for our college tour, I booked anyway to give it a shot. Sorry I did. Front desk staff seemed bothered when I went to check in... I joked that they seemed really busy with Instagram or TikTok! One lady laughed the other scoffed. The hotel felt more like a Motel 6 but frankly I've stayed in some Motel 6 locations that put this one to shame. The 1 star is for the 3 warm cookies we received during our checkin. But I've deducted 4 stars for the bad service... lack of amenities... no complimentary breakfast... no toiletries (we had to ask for toilet paper 3 times).. & all the elevators lockdown at 10pm as if to confine you to your room while keeping the surrounding Rif Raff out of the hotel. There seems to be some folks who live at the hotel as well (no issues there because times are rough these days) but it made for some interesting smells and aromas as you walk the hallways to your room. Lastly, my son found a big bag of half eaten hot Cheetos under the sleeper couch & a pillow stuff down in the crevice (house keepers cutting corners). This made for ants crawling throughout the space. Definitely disappointed with our stay. Luckily we only stayed one night and we are off to more Luxurious and accommodating and customer focused. Check In: Aug 2 2021 Check out: Aug 3 2021

Yelp
I liked this hotel! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and super accommodating. The restaurant is just okay. We didn't have much beyond some drinks and breakfast there but was not impressed by the offerings. The hotel grounds are clean, easy parking and just overall a pleasant experience

Yelp
Nice rooms friendly staff, super clean. Just the beds were slightly uncomfortable compared to other Hilton properties I've stayed at. Room did have great Mountain View's though and easy underground parking. The ceiling/floors between floor levels are not so great as the 4 nights we stayed here we could hear running or dancing or use your imagination behavior that led to hard time sleeping. I don't usually go to Pomona but would consider staying here again if I did.

Yelp
Good things and bad. It felt safe. No tub. The shower didn't feel sparkly clean. There are cookies, but no free breakfast. The restaurant was expensive and the traffic from it when trying to come in in the evenings was annoying. Every single day we had cleaning service, but every single day we had to go to the front desk to replenish things that had been removed from our room without being replaced. One day, the brand new bar soap, and towels. The next day, the regular coffee and towels. Most days the glasses were cleaned, but one day they were left dirty. There was not one single day when they took three dirty towels and left three clean ones. It was comical, but kind of frustrating to always not have all the things we needed left. We'd drink the regular coffee, so they'd leave more decaf?? I will say: all these years of crappy hotel service since the pandemic did make us appreciate any cleaning service at all being done anymore. It's actually the first hotel we've been in since the pandemic that was providing daily service. It really was pleasant to come back after being out and find our room had been straightened up. But it wasn't pre-pandemic service.

Yelp
Decent location, nice accommodations. Although I did have a few issues; the shower drain wasn't working well, there appeared to be mold on the ceiling about the shower and restaurant closes too early. The restaurant closes at 10pm, I'm not sure if it's due to covid or for business purposes. We were hoping to grab a drink before heading back to the room, luckily there is a 7-11 at the bottom of the hill.

Yelp
My friend booked the room through a third party site and checked in Saturday June 8th right at the 4pm check in time, there was plenty of rooms open. The front desk would not let my friend take any room besides #133, which she paid $330 for 1 night and $10 to park over night. We were gone till late Saturday at an event and when returning find the toilet does not work properly and would not stop running all night. In the morning I had to use restroom in the lobby area. This was perfectly acceptable for front desk duo in the morning and my friend was given the $10 parking fee discounted instead of working plumbing for the room. Be aware if you book through a third party site the front desk will strategically place you in whichever room has a maintenance issue. When requesting maintenance to fix issue, the front desk said maintenance cannot enter room while it is being used. The issue is the owner is too cheap to have a maintenance person on site 24 hours to handle issues for paying customers. If you need a place to stay for the night that will not maintain their property and passes the buck to their paying customer, you found the right dump.

Yelp
Three night stay over NYE and New Years Day; perfect experience! The hotel is up on a hill which I actually really enjoyed! It is super pretty up there and it feels super secluded and intimate. The parking is rough though because there are some pretty steep angles. The hotel is very modern and classy looking. The decor in the rooms is really spot on too! The room was very spacious. We had two queen beds and a sitting area. The beds are very comfy and the duvet was fluffy and warm. Even though it was a holiday weekend the noise was minimal! We heard doors closing but that was it! Very enjoyable stay! Best part...no parking fee!!

Yelp
Super easy check in. Friendly customer service. The woman that checked me in was so nice. Got a room with two beds which is all I ask for. Hilton bought this property three years a go and remodeled it. Nice location. A/c is quiet & cold. I approve!

Yelp
The lobby is absolutely beautiful. Reading some of the other reviews I take it was renovated at some point. The view of the hills from the lobby is very lovely and it gives it a tranquil feeling. The rooms were great too. I had a very nice sleep and the towels are well taken care of. We got a suite so the couch was comfy as well. I loved the dresser set up that hides the mini fridge and microwave. Room service was delicious. We ordered the beef short ribs, grilled chicken sandwich, and Cesar salad. Everything was plated beautiful and tasted so good. Also who can pass up on those amazing cookies!

Yelp
Stayed here for two days to hang out in the city and attend a concert in LA. The location was great, 40 minutes from the venue and no traffic into and out of LA which was great. Close to the highway. The hotel is modern, clean, and welcoming. They have amazing views of the mountains out of the panoramic windows in the lobby sitting area. The welcome cookies were great, too! The pillows go flat as soon as you lay your head down but the bed is pretty comfy. Overall, great stay.

Yelp
We were in town as my niece was graduating from Cal poly Pomona, as many of the other guests of the day. We were greeted, and checked in by Chris. We arrived an hour before check-in, after a 5 hour drive we needed get ready for the graduation Ceremony, No hassle, friendly, stress free ( of course the cookies and waters always a plus). If you are in the hospitality business you should be hospitable, Chris nailed it. :) Unfortunately we went to another Hilton property the next day for a little continued get away and we had far from the same experience. I strongly believe if you're great at your job you should be recognized. Thanks you, We enjoyed our stay at Doubletree Pomona.

Yelp
We were very satisfied with our stay (August 2020). We had a large room w two queen beds, with large area with couch and chairs. We checked in on line via HH app, and parked near our room so never even saw the front desk! The room was clean and had usual fridge and coffee maker (didn't use either). Bathroom was clean and functional. While not a new hotel we didn't have any concerns w age or looks. We ordered a late evening pizza from the on site restaurant and it was good and timely delivered to room. Upon check in, a smoke detector battery was chirping but they had it replaced in 20 minutes. Our son just started school here so we expect to return and will not need to look elsewhere. I just noticed previous review about parking-- huge two floor indoor garage under the property was mostly empty and good way to keep our car out of the heat.

Yelp
Mixed experience with this one. The good: 1) overall clean and updated, 2) good breakfast, plenty of parking spaces. The not so good: 1) floor is slightly uneven (minor), 2) booking says breakfast included, but charged full price; had or call to get partial refund. This is a management issue and needs to be corrected. 3) the side facing highway is noisy. Overall, has potential but need better management.

Yelp
Everything was great. The only drawback was the calls to purchase a timeshare that resulted. They offered a package they couldn't deliver and I have to ride them to refund the fee they charged.

Yelp
Really amazing stay! You can tell if the hotel is brand new, the room was really comfy and clean. Plenty of parking spaces here, and they have 2 designated parking spots for electric car with charging station. The Vita restaurant was amazing, the staff was super nice and really makes me feel like VIP, especially the AM shift host! I really enjoy their self-served breakfast buffet ( pastries, oatmeal, bacon&ham, juices station, pancakes and toasts, fruits, cereal). Their hashbrown was excellent, crispy but not oily, and their super fluffy omelet!! Here's a peek of my view during breakfast service which is breathtaking!!

Yelp
This hotel was nice and I really enjoyed my stay. The check in was seamless and they even gave free, fresh chocolate chip cookies! The room was VERY spacious, well cleaned and comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE with a lofty walk in shower. There was also a small outdoor pool and hot tub. In the surrounding area there's a 7/11 gas station, Wendy's, and Denny's. The freeway is less than a minute away which turned out to be very convenient.

Yelp
This place is dirty. I booked here because it seemed to be one of the nicer hotels in the area. The bed had yellow stains and smudges on the comforter. The floor is disgusting. Definitely kept my slippers on the whole time. All of the furniture is beat up. The door looked like a toddler smudged greasy food fingers all over it. The view is nice and the staff was nice which is why I didn't give 1 star. But otherwise not worth the money. We spent $680 for 2 days (with $100 deposit) and I expected a much cleaner environment. You could stay at a motel and get a similar experience.

Yelp
This review is just for the front desk receptionist! Vanessa is doing an amazing job and made me feel so welcome after my long drive up to Pomona. Thank you Vanessa you made me smile!
