I love the setup of those kinds of double tree suites, where they have the bedroom at the end, the restroom in the middle, and a living room area when you walk in. This is nice for our family of 4. The internet speed at this hotel is fast, which is great for working. The room is clean. There is a Murphy bed in the living room which is comfortable and a good size. It does not come with free breakfast, but as a diamond member, we have free credit to get food from the restaurant/room service or the downstairs marketplace. The self-parking garage is right next to the hotel, which is very convenient. We love the hotel and will definitely consider this location again next time we're in town

My family just returned from a stay at the DoubleTree Suites in Cambridge and our stay was great! We stayed for a week and enjoyed most of what the hotel has to offer. The room was perfect for my family of three. We chose a king suite with sofa bed. Side note on that, all of the sofa-bed rooms are located only on the 3rd floor. While our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:30PM, they were able to get one prepared within 30 minutes after our arrival. The rooms are large and nicely split into two areas with the bathroom in the middle. My seven-year-old loved having his "own room" in the living room with the sofa bed.||||Being a Diamond Hilton Honors member, we had $36 daily food credit which we used at the resteraunts and also the Made Market. On our first night, we enjoyed dinner in the Fusion Lounge. While it is small, they had plenty of tables and the food was good and arrived quickly. My son enjoyed the personal TVs at each table to watch the baseball game. On our last night we also visited the lounge for dessert and drinks.||||The Boathouse 400 restaurant is only open for breakfast and we ate there three times. Each was great, including the $10 full buffet for kids. We switched between the buffet and al-a-carte menu each day. While it was pretty expensive for breakfast, we were fine paying as our credit covered most of the meal cost.||||The pool and hot tub area is really an added bonus. We enjoyed this on three rainy afternoons, and we were usually the only ones in there. My wife used the fitness center often and thought it was a great option to have at the hotel.||||The overall location of the hotel was perfect for us as we drove. While you do have to pay to park in the garage, it was safe and convenient as we drove from PA. We were also 15 minutes or less from all of the attractions we wanted to visit and everything was easy to get to. While nothing is really close-enough to easily walk to - my son and I did venture on a walk one day and were able to stop at a Trader Joe's about 10 minutes across the river.||||The one negative I will mention is only if you are staying on the bottom floors and there is a party with a DJ in one of the lower rooms. On our first night there, they hosted a birthday party with a DJ. We could clearly hear the music and DJ announcements in our room through the walls/floor. Luckily it was over by 9:30 and was only that one night.||||If we ever decide to visit Boston again, my family will 100% choose this hotel. The room was great, everyone there was super helpful and the location was perfect.

Had a good time traveling from New York to Boston, but got a bit lost in the neighborhood on the way to the hotel. Finally arrived at the Hilton, where I was relieved to find outdoor parking available (although many spots were open). After check-in, the room was decent, nothing special. The hotel had a nice pool area, bar, and a unique steel structure that was an attractive feature. Breakfast was plentiful and reasonably priced. Our stay was enjoyable, but not exceptional. We booked two rooms for two nights with another family, and it was a bit pricey. One minor issue was that room service knocked on the door before 10 am, even though checkout time was 12 pm. Not sure what that was about! Since we spent most of our time exploring downtown Boston, we didn't get to experience much of the hotel's activities and amenities. Overall, a solid stay, but not memorable."

I was quite comfortable in this very spacious hotel room with a very comfy bed! I ordered room service a couple of times and it came pretty quickly and most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a potential cost issue when checking out and Sam was extremely calm, respectful and helpful getting it rectified. Would recommend for sure!

Cannot speak highly enough of our stay here. The room was spacious with a living area to work in and a fridge and microwave and a great coffee machine. We had a great view over the river which was a bonus. The room was extremely clean and was kept tidy and pristine by Celia who came daily to freshen towels and make he bed etc. All supplies were kept replenished.|The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help.|All the restaurants served great food, breakfast and dinner. We also went to a show at Scullers -the entertainment and food here were also fantastic. There is a 24 hour food market in the lobby which has a good selection of food and drinks and some practical stuff like tablets!|The gym has up to date bikes and a number of treadmills etc. It wasn't busy on the times I went. I also used the laundry facilities - there are two washing machines and two dryers so can be a bit of a juggling act on some occasions.|There is also a shuttle which goes to picks up from 3 locations which is another helpful offering.|Highly recommend this hotel.

Spent two nights at the hotel and had a minor billing error. I called the hotel and was connected with Jennifer in finance. She inquired about my satisfaction with the hotel and gave me some recommendations on things to do when I’m in town next time. And she fixed my bill. Thank you Jennifer. My room was great. Had a river view. Room was very clean.

TLDR: HOTELS MUST PROVIDE FREE COFFEE! |The room was lovely with a river view. Since it was an atrium hotel, I was prepared for the booming noise from the lobby and the open air Fusion lounge. I didn’t mind it. We had a King Suite with River view, it was much more quiet in the bedroom. We had a GrubHub mix up so indulged to order room service. Tasty dinner was of course very pricey, but we enjoyed so didn’t mind. BUT. Charging $5.45 per cup for mediocre Latte? No. Every hotel should offer free delicious coffee as per my past experience staying at Hiltons. I’ve had great free coffee at Hilton Tru hotels in upstate NY. Why would a fancier Boston hotel not be providing this?!

Visited here this evening to attend a gig at Schullers Jazz club which is on the ground floor of the hotel. We came early to grab a snack before the gig & used both the cafeteria & the lobby snack store. The latter was particularly badly stocked, the food cooler & toaster weren't working & the power to the machines kept tripping. We ended up paying around $35 for a salad which was so poor it tasted & looked like it had been there a week. We gave up trying to toast the bagels to apply the creme cheese as the equipment didn't work. The most surprising aspect was the attitude of the front desk staff who really weren't interested or couldn't care, despite there being 5 of them on duty & it not being busy. The disinterested approach to service was repeated in the jazz club. Thank goodness the music from Benny Benack was great! Also thank goodness we choose to stay downtown, instead of this bland block positioned next to a busy 6 lane highway!
