We recently stayed at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Disney Springs Area for five nights while visiting extended family, and had an overall wonderful experience. We used Hilton points for four nights and took advantage of the fifth night free, a great value. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was quick and efficient, and every staff member we interacted with was welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location, a short walk to Disney Springs, which made dining and shopping for souvenirs easily accessible. Our suite was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of four adults. The layout was ideal for relaxing after a long day out, and we appreciated the fast elevators which were surprisingly big plus! I don't think we ever waited more than 2 minutes for an elevator. The lobby was also large and their hotel shop/cafe was nice. Although we did encounter a small leak in our room towards the end of our stay, the staff responded promptly and documented it, and it didn't interfere with our stay. The large parking lot made coming and going by car easy, and while we didn’t use the Disney park shuttles, it's a nice amenity for guests planning to visit the parks. We had a very enjoyable stay. We’d definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again on future visits to the area.

This is a great value for a hotel. We had nothing but excellent experiences with the staff - front desk, housekeeping, even bell hops who were super friendly and unexpected for this level of hotel. Rooms are well appointed and recently redone. Very large suites that were great for my family. Super quiet at night. We slept great. Location is an easy Uber to Disney, and you get early entry there which is a massive perk. Breakfast is good, but overpriced at $25 per person. But overall the hotel is a very good value. We would most definitely stay here again if coming to Disney World.

First off, I have to compliment the maintenance and cleaning staff. The hotel is very clean, and things seem to be well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy and plentiful. That should be everything you want in a hotel, but we were left still feeling that something was lacking. We booked two rooms at two nights for a last minute trip to Disney World. We checked in late afternoon and were given no particular information about the hotel other than concerns about whether we needed allergy free cookies. When both keys to my room failed to work, I returned to the desk. They were re-keyed, but again failed to worked. So the fixs was that I was given a different room, farther down the hall from my family member. While waiting about the keys, another guest was there saying that her key did not work for the parking exit and she was sent off with an engineer. While standing at the desk, I saw sheet about the Disney World shuttles and that you had to make a reservation. I asked and was told that now you have to reserve to use the shuttle. He did not mention how to enter the code at checkout so that there would be no charge. Nor was I given any other information about using the shuttles (which we have used numerous times from other Disney Springs hotels when you just walked out and got on.) In the end we drove to the parks on both days and paid for parking. After doing a day at the parks in high heat and humidity, I didn't feel like doing the three hour drive home. We looked online at hotel prices and thought we would just return to the Doubletree, where we had checked a bag to keep it out of the heat. The price was higher that we had seen online and higher than we had paid on the other nights. The desk clerk was unable to give us any explanation, but we were too tired to deal with it. The room ended up being accessible, but while there were spaces to navigate with any mobility aid, the layout would have been very difficult for a person who needed an accessible room. In the end, we simply decided that we would choose the other Disney Springs Hilton properties that are a close walk to Disney Springs and have provided a better experience for us.

We were really pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We stayed here for a timeshare presentation and to go to Disney and it was just perfect. Really recently updated, the ground floor has a restaurant, bar and convenience store. Our room was a spacious one bedroom suite with everything we could have wanted. They give you two bottles of water each day, which was great for the parks, and the bus to the parks was reliable and easy to book ahead of time. They’ll give you a full print out with the schedule and details on how to book a spot (it’s free but you need to reserve for each day, regardless of what hour you get on) when you arrive, but generally the bus picks up from the hotel 5 minutes after the hour starting at 7am, and picks up from each Disney park at 30 or 40 after the hour (depends on which park) until around park closing time. And did I mention this hotel gives you early hours access!! For the price, it’s a total steal. We also walked to Disney springs and back, and it’s totally doable and actually a pretty nice walk. Sidewall is a good distance up and away from the road, and you’re just walking past a bunch of other hotels. 10/10 stay!

Welcome to your Disney/Orlando trip hotel! Of course it is clean, quiet, roomy, and comfortable. Kitchens and refrigerators to make your stay easier. it is one of the most affordable hotels around and it is close to all the places you want to be. The best features of this hotel, however, are the people who work there. The guy working the bar/restaurant at night was super friendly and helpful. Ms. Iris at the breakfast bar was lovely: considerate, helpful, fast, accommodating. Ms. Louree is the best of the best! A real gem, a true gift. Hospitality doesn't even begin to explain what she provides. She immediately senses what you need before you even sit down. She goes above and beyond to make your stay and your meal the best ever. She is so kind, gracious, funny, and amazing. She is incredible, whether she is serving a room of 200 or serving your party of 3. I tried my best to bring her home with me, as I can't live without her. Stay here and see for yourself. As much as we love Disneyworld, spending time with her every morning was the best part of our day!

My family and I have been visiting this hotel for the last ten years when we visit Disney. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and always exceptionally clean. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the staff are all very friendly. We especially enjoy talking with Ben. You cannot beat the on-demand chocolate chip cookies! The breakfast is always good, and the breakfast staff members are fantastic. If you can swing for a patio suite, they are well worth it for the proximity to the pool and the additional seating outdoors. Our favorite suite is 101, but we were in room 109 this stay, and it was also great. I recommend this hotel to all of my friends traveling to the Orlando area, especially those going to Disney.

Google
Wonderful stay!! The hospitality was great. Louree gave us great service for breakfast and was an overall delight. ||Everything was top notch. We looked at this as an option for more space vs. staying on Disney property and this was an excellent choice.

Google
Absolute awesome experience!. This was my best day at any of the Hilton properties I have ever stayed at. The front desk staff was beyond awesome. The rooms were clean and looked to be recently updated. The whole hotel looked fresh and new. I have no issue with staying at this location multiple times in the future.

Todd D.

Yelp
Used some of my Hilton points to pay for a week at Doubletree. My stay was great! Room was very comfortable, clean, and modern. The front desk employees were exceptionally friendly! The day I checked in, I was unaware that I could link my reservation to my Disney experience app, I forgot who the receptionist was but he was very helpful with helping me to set that up. The location is great. It's not too far from the parks. It was great having shuttle service to and from the parks. Keep in mind though you do have to book a reservation with the shuttle company, and you'll need to pay close attention to the shuttle pick up time from the hotel, and the shuttle pick up time from the parks. I definitely would stay here again.

Yelp
Booked a 3 night stay here for our Disneyworld trip and we got a two queen sized bed suite. Upon arrival, we noticed that the the lobby was being renovated and we could not access the main entrance. They did have signs up though directing us to go to the side of the building. We walked on in and the worker greeted us. I set my luggage down at one of the tables and went to check in. Check in was not until 3pm and the room that I had picked on the 7th floor was not ready yet. The worker did let me know that I could check in early for an extra fee of $35 or that I could wait for the room to be ready. I decided to pay the early check in fee since it was only 11am and we still had time to go up and rest. He processed the paperwork, checked me in, and I was offered cookies and water as I departed the desk. Once upstairs, our room was easy to find and we were now staying on the 6th floor. We walked into our suite and it was very nice, updated, clean, and smelled good. I quickly blasted the AC and it too worked great. We had a dining table, mini fridge, two TV's, a big couch / bed, a full sized closet, and microwave all in our room! Housekeeping came everyday of our stay even though we did not request it, so thank you! It was very nice to walk into a clean room after a long day at the parks. The housekeepers were also very friendly and said hi to us when we walked past them in the hall. We visited the pool for a few hours on Saturday and it was pretty busy as most of the chairs and tables were being used. We luckily were able to find one where I could lay and tan. The grounds surrounding the pool area are well kept and the grass is lush and green. The splash pad for kids was not open at this time. We had a few drinks at the pool bar and the bartender was very friendly! We had no issues during our stay and we felt safe while we were there. Can't wait to see what the lobby will be like once its done being renovated! Disney shuttles are provided to and from the parks. We only used it once and the ride was great!

Natali B.

Yelp
The room is nice but the lobby is undergoing renovations which is fine. It looks like it will be nice when it's done, however, there are only two elevators in the entire building and only 1 was working. This leads to a congestion of people trying to go up to their rooms at night and so there is a about a 30 minute wait in line to be able to get on an elevator. Instead we walked down the corridor and to the stairs even though I was heavily pregnant I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to be able to get to my room. Im a Silver status member and 3 nights away from a gold status so I stay at the Hilton frequently but I'm disappointed at this specific location. Also the hotel shuttle only goes to the Disney parks, not Disney springs, which we were going to for cirque du Soleil.

Yelp
My family and I stayed at this resort a couple weeks ago and took my son to Disney. Upon check in, i received a little packet with restaurant discounts, my room keys, cookies, and water bottles (as a Hilton honors member). We did get the room through a timeshare program as I was mainly in town to sit for a presentation, so I can't comment on any pricing besides the parking. I do feel like the parking is a little overpriced, especially for it to be a regular lot and not like a garage. They had free Disney shuttles so that was very helpful. I guess I got lucky with not having to pay for parking at the park, so i won't complain too much about the parking at the hotel. Our room was spacious enough for two adults and a toddler. We had a 2 queen bed suite, which had the two beds in a room, a kitchenette area and a living area. The bathroom was also decent. Overall I don't have any complaints and would probably stay here again when I go back to Disney.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Stayed at the DoubleTree for a night since the Hilton down the street was booked up for this night. Price was reasonable. Service was friendly. The Front Staff helped get our food delivery. Room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Free warm cookies for everyone!

Lauren K.

Yelp
We used points for our stay so didn't incur any resort fees that other reviews mention. The only additional cost for us was parking, which was a little annoying since they accidentally charged us for all nights when we just used it for one. No problem, they took the charge off. The room was nice. It was great to have a suite so we could have a little privacy. The room was clean and spacious, and the in room amenities (fridge, etc) worked fine. The hotel breakfast was nice enough but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't have paid for it at the price it was listed for though. As Hilton status members, we enjoyed some amount of money every day towards the market pantry they have on site and that also was a nice amenity. Staff was nice, generally accommodating, and the shuttles to the park were convenient enough every hour. The pool and pool bar are also a nice treat, and quiet, since everyone is at the parks.

Maria B.

Yelp
Cookies and two waters daily. Our room was nice, AC worked fine. We were happy with our stay the entire time. Two queen beds and a kitchenette. Coffee and tea in the lobby in the mornings. Access to shuttle, but get the discount code to reserve your pick up time. Walking distance to Disney Springs or a short Uber ride. Waffle House is also nearby. It's on the Disney property so you can get early entry to the parks.

Jeanne W.

Yelp
This hotel was chosen for its amenities. There is no actual restaurant, no room service, no pool bar and I intended to spend a week of relaxing by the pool with a book but it was closed for a "photo shoot" without warning. Apparently the family in the photo shoot and their children were enjoy their day. Pillows have no stuffing but bed is comfortable. Between the lack of advertised amenities and the traffic in this area, I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking to spend a vacation relaxing.

Jessica H.

Yelp
Problem with booking from the beginning. Booked patio suite and confirmed reservation reverted to something I did not choose. Digital key didn't work. NOT Pet friendly. Booked a two night trip with our Golden Retriever. Left for 2 hours first night and one hour the next day. Was here otherwise or dog was with us. Man next door complained that the dog was barking constantly (which was false, as we were with her for all but three hours of the trip. She barked one time as we exited the room and stopped. We listened outside the door for 10 minutes before leaving). Hotel believed the lying party and made us come back and "diffuse the situation with the dog". Later admitted man was lying, that he was also complaining about numerous other things, and moved the man to a different room. He punched the wall on his way down the hall, and we felt unsafe in the hotel the rest of the night. We missed a $200 anniversary dinner reservation (that I had to pay a fee for a no-show) all due to the man's lies and hotel's misjudgement. If this were a complaint about a child, it wouldn't have reached the level it did. Children can make noise but a dog can't bark once in a pet friendly hotel without owners being called?? Really??! I used Hilton Honors points on this visit and paid over $600 with room rates, pet fees, and parking charges, and nothing was refunded for this situation. The best they could do was to offer us appetizers in the bar for missing our anniversary dinner. I'm sorry we picked this hotel and will not return.

Patti Ann W.

Yelp
Great Stay. Ben was wonder at the Front Desk. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Rooms were clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

Pamela F.

Yelp
They were doing renovations and it looks like it's gonna be a great looking hotel when done. However set aside the drapes covering the work, we did have a good stay. We slept well, they had a very big pool which my son loved so much, there is a free shuttle to the disney resorts etc. they were having a special with one kid eat free with a paying adult so it worked fantastic for me and my son. Breakfast is a Buffett and was pretty good, and we had dinner by the pool almost every night. Julie at the pool bar was super lovely and my son loved her. We will probably book again when we come back to Orlando.

Yelp
What a great hotel on Disney property! Honestly it's as big as some one-bedroom apartments I've had. Everything felt clean which was a huge plus. There was a large kitchenette and round table with 4 chairs perfect for eating a meal at the end of a long Disney parks day. Couch was moderately comfortable and the bed I can't really complain about. Climate control worked well and I didn't have a problem adjusting the room to our desired temperature. It also wasn't freezing when we walked in, as most hotel rooms are. Shower had good water pressure. There's a very large closet and plenty of space in the whole room. This would be a great place to stay longer on your Orlando family vacation. We were only here 1 night and it was honestly one of the most pleasantly memorable hotel stays I've had in a long time. Plus if you use the Hilton app it's very easy to check in, choose your room, and put your room key and open the parking garage from your phone! Pros: Large rooms On Disney Property Shuttles to the Parks Separate sleeping area Dining table in room Hilton app extremely convenient Cons: Fridge hum was so loud had to unplug it Parking is expensive Breakfast is expensive The only minor issue we had was that the app wouldn't let me check out. It told me to go to the front desk, which I did, and then I had to wait in line while several people in front of me were helped by one attendant. Eventually another worker came out and saw me, I told her I was checking out and that was it! Not sure why the app made me go to the desk but oh well.

Yelp
We spent 6 days here with 6 people in a good big room. Pros- Great customer service!!!:). They were kind, nice and helped answer questions about the buses, parks, everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Maid service was great too. Every time we came back we had our beds made and new towels. So thank you Hotel staff. You were awesome -Great marketplace for snacks and things you may have forgot from your travels. -Beds were soft and comfy. Had a goodnight every night. -Great shower with strong water to support. -Cookies!!!!! I love cookies and they have fresh cookies at the front 24/7. We had a lot lol -Great views of the resort from our room and close to Disney Springs to shop and dine. It was great! -DVD Free rentals for your room. -Great photo backgrounds for the parks you can get with your family to remember your trip. Cons: -Old TV replacement. The bedroom had a small old aged flat screen that didn't give us any channels or movies. Thank goodness the guest room had a newer flatscreen and a DVD player. We rented a lot of good movies. Just make an improvement in the bedroom tvs -No Wi-Fi the morning you leave. They kick you out of the Wi-Fi the morning you leave. -Small Pool -Pricey Parking per day. Parking per day was expensive for a small parking area. -Pricey Breakfast. $18 for a buffet breakfast for per adult. Too much. We just went to Chick Fil-A close and saved our money. -Stairs take you outside and don't give you a choice to go back into the lobby. You have to walk around the front to the entrance. Overall I had a great time at this hotel. I would return here again because it's close and not as expensive as the other hotels. Thank you for the great service. I'll be returning again:). Great for families:).

Yelp
Where do I start? Roaches in the room? Or no water pressure? Or the 20+ minute wait for them to send up someone to move us, who never showed up? Or the $35/night upgrade fee to get a room without roaches? If it was not after 10pm I would have gone somewhere else. Emmilyn the "director" would not fix it that night. So I paid the $35 and got a decent room. Of course the keys did not work. So we took another lap around the track. Was I upset? Yep! Was I crash, difficult or unprofessional at the desk, nope. In fact I was very discreet. Will call the home office and go over the details. But Wyndham is off my list at this point. Oh yea. The room had fleas.

Erica J.

Yelp
They pretty much have everything you need. Clean Friendly Close to the parks Very close to Disney springs 1/2 mile Rent free movies in the lobby Free bottle of water Our room had a tiny kitchen. Microwave, coffee and mini fridge Awesome pool and hot tub $10 breakfast They charge for parking, which is a joke. They did offer me cookies at the front desk when I checked in. Wasn't a fan of the clear door in the bedroom. If you have people staying in the living room you can clearly see if they leave a light on. It lights up your room annoyingly. The hooks in the bedroom were in a weird spot. Something about it. No hook behind the door. Love the vanity in the room, great place for me to do my makeup and hair. You won't be the person hogging up the bathroom. Over all very convenient.

Lauren S.

Yelp
This hotel is fantastic for the price! The staff are always so warm and friendly and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They even serve cute Mickey waffles at the continental buffet! highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orlando and wanting to stay near Disney.

Eduardo F.

Yelp
I was very nervous about this stay after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. I used my Hilton points to book this property at a great rate of 50K/night for a 1BR suite during Christmas. There were no upgrades available for Diamond members. The only upgrade was a lateral move to a "pool view" which is more like an I-4 / Waffle House view. The room can be a bit noisy on this side but not enough to cause trouble to sleep. The hotel features suites only in a similar way that Embassy Suites does. We were able to fit 3 adults and 2 kids (6 and 11) on this room. I wish it had an EXTRA restroom. It would have made a big difference. I reached out to management prior to my arrival twice. The manager at this property never replied back to me. However the staff here is really awesome! I was very impressive with the great service given despite the bad luck with management. I take that the manager isn't friendly but who cares? The staff made up for her! Staff is very active on the chat function on the Hilton app and extremely responsive to requests. Breakfast is really good! Room service is affordable and very good as well! The breakfast wait staff is one of the best I have ever seen since I met Marshall from the Hilton Columbus Downtown! We had a small issue on our last day, they were understaffed but they bounced back and provided a even more personal service after I had to escalate to the front desk. Now... the bad part. Property is very outdated. However I did not find any maintenance problems neither broken furniture or mold as some reported to have seen. They mentioned they will renovate it starting next year. I was able to connect our Amazon Fire Stick to the TVs and it worked pretty well. The hotel is very convenient to get in/out of I-4. Has Disney Magic hours (which is totally worth it) and also has transportation to the parks. It is not an easy walk to Disney Springs but we did anyways (with two kids). It was actually quicker than waiting for the bus as it was stuck on the hellish traffic. It is definitely NOT A BONNET CREEK quality property but it isn't bad at all. I would definitely stay here again and liked the VIP treatment given by the staff. Another bad side is that they have timeshare solicitors at the property. Beware when one employee starts being extremely friendly to you and start making small talk... it is a timeshare salesman. Unfortunately these people will always be around. Just avoid them. Other thing to avoid is buying park tickets at the hotel. You'll be paying a useless fee for that. I bought all online and that's how everyone should buy tickets.

Kris S.

Yelp
Our flight ended up getting cancelled and we were able to find a room here. We were a bit afraid we wouldn't find anything since it was Memorial Day weekend, but we did. I always opt for the Hilton brand since they always seem to provide good service. This hotel was no different. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are very spacious. We would actually stay here again for a longer period of time if we get back to the area. The only downfall is the resort fees that are added. Sometimes I think they should just be added into the price up front and not separated out. It might make it seem less 'expensive.' Another thing that is somewhat frustrating is having to pay to park. You already pay for a room and resort fees, they could at least provide you with free parking. Most other hotels in the area do.

Randy S.

Yelp
It's a sales pitch without the service to back it up. Approached each day with the sales pitch to join the Hilton vacation club. Restaurant barely open. Not even an apologetic person saying they weren't serving just a throat cutting hand gesture and said "We closed" Would not recommend

V R.

Yelp
This hotel needs a ton of work! I was here for a work trip and from the moment I entered the building o was hit with allergies that count United and worsen the longer I stayed. The rooms are filled with mold spores, layers of dust on windows with carpets looking stale and smelling awful. The beds are not comfortable. I requested to live rooms thinking it'd be different but it was not. The lobby once getting off the elevator on the 6th floor was full of towels draping all over because of leaks and condensation. We held meetings in the conference rooms and the ceiling leaked the entire time. Hotel needs a significant face lift.

Nicole F.

Yelp
Great price, location, staff friendliness and clean! We are literally down the road from Disney Springs and less than 20 min to your favorite Disney Park. Let me remind you...Double Tree gives every guest free bottles of water and AWESOMELY warm chocolate chip/walnut cookies. Soooo good. The rooms are spacious, with a nice little seating area as you first walk in. The bedroom is a good size, and if you need more room for extra sleepers, the couch in the "living room" pulls out to a sleeper sofa. Yay! Valet parking is $27 per night and self parking is $22. Kinda pricey, but you are in the Disney area...it's to be expected....but NO RESORT FEE!!!! HUGE plus!! Pool in the back with a bar area to grab drinks and food. This is definitely the hotel we will be coming back to next year when we visit Epcot's Food and Wine Festival again.

Ashley C.

Yelp
I was beyond impressed with my stay at the DoubleTree. I was at Epcot all morning and decided to see if my room was ready because I was getting very tired. I arrived a couple hours before check-in and the ladies at the front were able to accommodate me! She also asked if had any room requests, so I asked for a high floor, and gave me the top floor! When I entered the room I was surprised to see a king suite, with a living area in the front and the bed in a separate room. So spacious and clean. Shower, towels, bed, were clean and comfortable. I was able to rest before heading to another Disney park. I was so sad I only stayed a night but will always consider the DoubleTree for future stays. Thank you!

Anthony E.

Yelp
We stayed here the week of June 17-24, 2023. There was some renovation going on at the hotel but we did not even notice it. The hotel was clean, up to date, and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The value of the price was excellent and the location was perfect (close to Disney Springs and the parks and lots of amenities). The hotel offers bus service to and from the parks as well. We used the paid parking at the hotel for our rental car. The room was large and had a kitchenette with a dining table. The air conditioning was very effective which was great since it was blistering hot outside while we were there. Will definitely stay here again!

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Spacious clean rooms. We had a regular suite which included a sofa bed and chair, but no coffee table or ottoman. Definitely felt like they were missing in the big space. Large "bar" area with microwave and refrigerator, small sink and coffee station. 2 televisions. Small table with 4 chairs. Bathroom had a nice size vanity. Staff was friendly. There is no daily room service during these crazy times, which is fine with me. So, we just stopped by the front desk for towels and tp. The parking and resort fees seem high to me when you aren't even getting a fraction of the usual offerings that come with them. We could not use the shuttle because they only drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening. Nothing in the middle. We've got a toddler who naps at lunch time. So, we also had to pay to park at MK every day. The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired; granola bar, muffin, orange and juice. Very close to I4, restaurants and Disney Springs. Sadly, some of the closer restaurants have not survived the pandemic.

Yelp
The rooms are very nice. Bedroom is separated from a kitchen area, sofa and tv. Room is very spacious. Kitchen area has a sink, microwave, and coffee machines. Pool area is great and the waitress was extremely nice at the pool bar where we had lunch. Walking distance to Disney Springs. Three stars for the following: They do not tell guests that rooms are made up every other day. I ran out of coffee and shampoo and needed to call the front desk. Went to take a shower before dinner and only cold water. It was fine the next morning. Sales guy approached everyone at the pool to offer Hilton honors packages. Not what I was really looking for while relaxing. TV is small and picture quality bad. $20 to rent a movie. Overall, not a bad place to stay. Five stars for the friendliness of the staff! All were great.

Yelp
Amber the manager on duty during our stay has been great however upper managements response to a tiny kitten left to fend for himself on property (near pool) was disheartening. I made the front desk aware of this issue and it seemed upper management wasn't able to spare about 189$ (just one place i quoted them) to save this kitten and get him out of the florida heat. Meanwhile I am spending my vacation trying to trap this little kitten so I can get him to a shelter. Really a disgusting response from upper management in my opinion and not a great way to spend my vacation.

Yelp
I cannot believe this hotel doesn't have 5 stars. In all my years of hotel stays this has been one of the most accommodating hotels I've ever been in. Mohamed and the front desk team are amazing. We noted a birthday on the reservation and as soon as we got settled in the room Brooke showed up at our door with a Birthday card signed by the staff and a Disney Birthday Pin for my grandmothers 77th Birthday and celebration pins for my mom and myself. My grandma loves Disney and this pin got her so much attention at the park. Every cast member we passed wished her a happy birthday. She continued to mention how she had never had so many birthday wishes in her life. I cannot forget to mention Louree in the cafe. She is top tier when it comes to customer service and was a delight to chat with at breakfast. Even though we are currently masked I could tell she was always smiling and really finds joy in giving the hotel guests and amazing experience. I really appreciate all the effort the Double Tree Staff put into making my grandmas birthday an amazing one. Thank you!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for his convention. We thought this was a great hotel. The rooms are suites with a privacy door between bedroom and living/dining room space. There is a free shuttle that will take you to the Disney parks every 30 min. At 6pm the shuttle service to Disney Springs begins (restaurants and shopping area nearby). The restaurant provides a good hot meal with good service when you don't feel like going out. You can eat in, do carry out or pay for room service. They offer a laundry facility on the the 7th floor. (takes credit cards) The concierge will help with any Disney tickets if you didn't buy them before you arrived or at Disney Springs. (Disney Springs will accept Disney gift cards, the concierge will not, it is serviced by Expedia)

Yelp
Awesome staff. Food is nearby and hotel food itself is pretty darn good. Burger and club hit the spot. Bartender provided abovec and beyond service. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Hands down the best Doubletree I've ever stayed. All of our past DT experiences have not been the best! Everyone in this property is super welcoming. I do have to give Ben a BIG shoutout!!!! He took care of us prior arrival and made sure we got a nice room for my wife's birthday. His customer service is amazing!! Made sure we had all the information we needed from the hotel and nearby. The property is spotless and our room was super clean as well. They have a DVD rental downstairs where you can redeem one complimentary movie. This made our night!! It is waking distance from Disney Springs. However, I drove there because all the walking adds up! By the time you get to Disney Springs you're probably super exhausted (or maybe it's me, I'm probably not in the best shape either, haha.) There are tons of options for dining in the area. The only thing I found very strange is that there is no convenience store in the hotel. I wanted to buy some milk for my cupcakes but our only option was to buy from outside. Pretty weird for a family hotel and for its location. Ms. Gant at the Front Desk was also super friendly!! I'm so happy to know I've found a great location for my family to stay whenever they visit.

Yelp
This is a great alternative to the Disney resorts. It's still considered a Disney hotel, so you can get in to the parks early and enjoy other perks. Free shuttles to the theme parks and walking distance to Disney Springs. The hotel is a little shabby, could definitely use some updates and remodeling, but the staff is super friendly.

Yelp
My family and I stayed on points at this hotel in January 2019 for a 5 day Disney Trip. Hands down, it was the best deal around. Not only did we get a suite for my family, but we had a microwave, fridge, and plenty of storage space for our food. The hotel is linked with Disney so you still get the extra magic hours and 60 day in advance fast pass booking, when staying at this hotel. As far as amenities, the pool was virtually unused and awesome. We used it 3 separate times. But the breakfast deal was the biggest steal. If you are HHonors Gold or higher, you get free continental breakfast. For an additional $3 for kids and $5 for adults, you can upgrade to hot breakfast. There was unlimited breakfast meats, biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, omelette bar, and MICKEY WAFFLES. We used this every day, and routinely weren't charged for one of the kids. It was a great way to start our day before heading out to the parks. There is also a shuttle to the parks, but we took Lyfts most of the time to get straight to the action. Last but not least, there is a Disney store on site if you just need one last souvenir before you head home.

Yelp
If I could give a negative review I would. I stayed here not long ago and it was awful. I couldn't set any food down for 5 minutes without it being covered in ants! Many many ants. It was to the point where I couldn't bring food back to my room from Disney. I told them 3 days in a row about my ants and they said they would come spray and clean my room and they never did. I asked for a new room and they said no. Finally, the last night I got someone to come in the room, they didn't clean it, sprayed next to my mattress and left. The staff at the front desk said it was awful I had ants but did not do anything about it. I also reached out to the hotel and they didn't respond. My key also broke to the room and it took me about 20 minutes to get someone to come up and let me in. Honestly, I wish I could say something good but unfortunately I cannot.

Yelp
If you are looking for a family friendly Hotel this is not the spot for you. Now looking to party then might be your spot. Parking was horrible and they had people parking in the grass. They had guest partying till 2AM in the parking lot. Wife saw one guest urinating in the bushes. Only good think was room was nice size and the employees were nice.

Yelp
Our room was very spacious, but the bed was not very comfortable. The towels were very rough on the skin. We stayed 4 nights and our room was not attended too, must be due to Covid. The location is great about a mile from Disney Springs, walking distance for some, an $8+ Uber for others. Free coffee in the morning, but not much else due to Covid. Pool looked very nice although you could hear a lot of street noise. Complimentary transportation to Disney parks, but you have to make a reservation (Covid?) and it only has specific pickup and drop-off times. We used it to go to Epcot and Animal Kingdom, but took an Uber back, $16+ each time. Plenty of parking. I parked under a light to be safe and somebody stole my Annual Passholder magnet from the back of my car!

Yelp
I am a Diamond Member and my flight was canceled and this was the only property available on New Year's Eve. I agree the hotel is very tired and worn, decor is circa 1977, but the staff was friendly and the rooms are large. If you are an inexperienced traveler you'll probably love it.

Yelp
I wanted to so badly LOVE this hotel, but they fell short and I'm just not sure where or why. When I made my reservations MONTHS ago, I noted that we would be arriving after 10pm and I also did Arrival Requests for sodas and waters to be in our fridge when we arrived in our room. And requested extra towels and no down pillows. I paid EXTRA for the sodas to be in the fridge, to be cold, because I knew we would be tired from traveling (flying) all day, and this would be a welcome treat for the hubs without having to stop and find someplace in an area we were unfamiliar with. When we arrived we were not treated in the Hilton fashion I was accustomed to and a room was NOT ready, even after I had been texting them after we landed. When we got upstairs to our room, the rooms are REALLY nice, but there were no sodas or water in the fridge, even after I asked at check-in to verify this and told Yes, we would find them in the fridge and the room was 80 degrees! We tried phoning the front desk, but the phone was broken, so the hubs went downstairs to speak with the manager on duty. He was told to go over to the pantry to get the sodas and was handed warm waters and someone came to fix the phone promptly. We ordered room service, and the food was hot and delicious, and the service was wonderful! We had to keep complaining about the A/C not working properly and finally while we were at Magic Kingdom on day 3 of our stay, someone fixed it. We also had to keep complaining about not having bottled water in our room each day, which was something we were supposed to have, they offer and advertise. When we asked the front desk for dinner recommendations one evening, they couldn't give us any because they told us they didn't live there and didn't eat out around there and had never tried any restaurants around there. We found that EXTREMELY odd! HUGE tourist destination and they couldn't recommend ONE restaurant to dine at? I'd recommend that you all cater in some meals from local restaurants for your workers to be able to make recommendations! When I got the bill at check-out, we were charged twice for the sodas on arrival night and the person at the front desk kept arguing with me that they were indeed in the fridge when we arrived (she was NOT on duty when we arrived), I finally got the credit after the Manager on duty spoke to someone else to find out what had happened. Like I said, I SOOO wanted to love this hotel, but they just kept coming up short. The cookies were good! (Our stay was 4/24/19-4/24/19)

Yelp
This hotel is very affordable for the Disney area. Has a shuttle to the parks and a Disney representative on site. It is an old hotel and the common areas and rooms are pretty tired. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was very affordable depending upon your level of Hilton Honors status. The room was clean and the hotel quiet. The rooms are mostly suites which is nice for a family if traveling to Orlando to the parks. It is a solid 3 star hotel. It was too cold for me to use the pool area but it looked nice with a pool bar and food service.

Yelp
We had a great stay at the Doubletree, from the cookies they gave at check-in (including a packet of gluten free for one of us...not freshly baked like the regular, but it was something) to the modern-styled, comfortable suite we stayed in. It was great having the Disney Concierge in the lobby for literally any need you might have related to anything Disney in the area. (tickets etc.) It's a few minute drive to Disney Springs (free parking there) or less than a mile walk) plus as one of the Disney Resort Area Hotels it's serviced by a regular, free, shuttle bus that goes do Disney Springs and all of the parks, that runs from early in the morning to 3am. The pool area was also nice and we took advantage of the well equipped fitness room as well. In our suite we do wish there was a separate entrance to the bathroom from the living area. We always book suites so we can have a separate, private area to sleep from our kid, and that suite-benefit is tempered a bit when he has to open up our door, walk through the room where we're sleeping to get to the bathroom. Besides that we'd definitely stay here again as a base to visit any Disney World attraction.

Yelp
I LOVE the layout of our room! The bedroom has a separate tv from the living area, and a sliding door to divide the spaces. I was pleasantly surprised there was a microwave in case we bring leftovers to reheat. Pool looks very nice, too! Only thing is I was Uber excited about the digital key because I got spoiled by Disney properties and going straight to my room with my magic band. Unfortunately the manager said they have a glitch for the parking as the self park isn't recognizing the digital key. So, I still had to get my kid out, come in to check in and get a key to self park then get back out and go to our room. I hope they get this resolved.. in the meantime, I may go back to Disney properties..

Yelp
I am tempted to give this hotel a 3 star review. Precisely because I never saw or got one chocolate chip cookie. They advertise on the Hilton website they have cookies at the front desk and I just received an email asking me to review this hotel and low and behold a picture of fresh baked cookies on the email. False advertising. Other than my cookie needs being denied. It was an okay place to stay. Not too fancy yet very expensive. The bar downstairs was loud and obnoxious when you arrive in the evening. Thankfully my room was far enough away. It was quite, comfortable bed, shower was not nearly hot enough and either was the room. It was oddly cold in Florida during my visit. I don't love AC anyway so I had to use an extra blanket. All in all it was not a bad place to stay but surely not worth the price.

Yelp
Currently here for a 4 night stay. I have been to numerous Double Tree hiltons since we are gold members. But have to say after this I think I'm staying at Hyatt. Location is great but the hotel is 100% in need of some TLC. Normally I'm not picky. Just give me a clean comfortable room. We arrived on a Sunday at 3pm. Room was ready 1 hour early. Great! Get into room, no bottled water. Go to the market closed, asked bell boy Scott where I can get a bottle of water..he told me check the floors for a vending machine. We are on the 7th floor. No vending machine. Finally found one on the 3rd floor. Not working. At this point I'm like lets just go out. We had a nice time at Disney Springs. We decided to stop to bring drinks back to the room. Fridge doesn't close. No big deal lets just put the case of water in front to hold it. Lol. Next day realize the shower curtain is moldy and broken, tv doesn't have signal, sofa bed broken...thankfully we aren't spending much time in the room. Needless to say if you want a great location and don't care about things being broken that this is the place. Bed is at least comfy, air conditioning works well and it is quiet on the 7th floor. One other problem is my husband's digital key won't work for the room or parking..which is $22 a day.

Yelp
Check in was friendly, room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Sitting at the bar, I notice the air freshener was being pumped in hard and the smell was not pleasant. There was also only one out of two elevators that was working. And the biggest disappointment was that the breakfast. While being a Diamond member and receiving a voucher for 4 complimentary continental breakfasts, you're easily con into thinking that everything at the buffet was complimentary when in fact it's only the cold items. The last impression is always the lasting impression and I don't know if I would consider this place again.

Yelp
Good location, okay price, not the best accommodations. As a Hilton Honors member I typically stay exclusively at Hilton hotels. Whenever I come to Disney I always choose to stay in Disney Springs as I love the area and it is only a 20 minute ride to any of the Disney parks. On a previous trip I stayed at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista and my experience there was much better than this recent stay at the DoubleTree. Don't get me wrong there were some great things about the Doubletree, the free chocolate chip cookies upon check in and water bottles each night to name a few, but the rooms itself were subpar. I was staying on the seventh floor and our room had mold all over the ceiling in our bathroom. The shower pressure was weak and the water never got quite hot enough. If you are looking to stay in Disney Springs I would suggest staying at one of the other Hilton properties which are closer to Disney Springs and have more updated rooms.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed with this hotel at all. Our room wasn't the cleanest and it had mold on multiple places in the bathroom. Upon pulling out the pull out sofa I noticed hairs stuck on the sheets and in the springs. The extra pillows and blankets were shoved into a bag like the ones comforters come in and seemed like they hadn't been changed or washed since the previous guests that used them. I would much prefer to stay at a different Hilton in the future. I also found it to be very expensive.

Yelp
the welcoming front desk Ben was not very welcoming and he would not look at me while talking to me. a small fridge in the room is great but when it makes a loud buzzing sound continuously and they send the maintenance to check it out and tell you that is normal, you will be disappointed and frustrated that you have to live with it. the iron was not getting hot to iron our clothes and we asked for another one, but they sent the maintenance to check it out he was trying to convince us that is normal, but I refused his answer, and they end up getting us another one. The AC stopped working during our stay and took 3 calls to the front desk to find out if it is going to be fixed. At checkout, I was surprised by $23 plus tax charges per day for extra amenities that were available for me to use but was not explained to me that I will get charged for it whether I use them or not. it is in a small piece of paper the size of a business card that shows the $23 charge and the amenities listed below it. I spoke with the manager to reverse the charges, but he was focused on I did not read the fine print on the email, and I should have known about it during my reservation confirmation on the website. I also called Hilton customer service and they were not helpful, they transferred me back to the front desk at the hotel and the first thing she said was we will not refund the charges. overall, the hotel has some very old old equipment (fridge, TV, iron, coffee maker, and furniture) and customer service is ZERO.

Yelp
Awful experience from start to finish!! At check-in I was given a hard time by the hotel manager for not having my wife's ID because she was the one that booked it. I went out to get the ID and upon returning to the counter 20 seconds later, the manager had taken another guest and proceeded to help them without even acknowledging my presence. After waiting for the other customer service person to finish up with another guest I was finally checked in to the room. The room- hot, humid, loud, dirty! Although cool the AC unit did d not remove moisture from the air making it uncomfortable to sleep in. Shuttle service- while standing outside waiting for the shuttle we were approached by a manager soliciting us to buy into their time share program, aggressively selling! If she had been directing guests to the proper shuttle maybe we wouldn't have ended up at Epcot on a bus that wasn't going to magic kingdom which is where we had intended to go. After returning from our day at the park we found our humid room untouched and not cleaned. I had enough and called the front desk and their solution was to bring us a fan! Ok, sub entry- my wife had to go in to get another card so we could get in the room and was ignored by the front office attendant for over three minutes before being acknowledged. The attendant then proceeded to cuss at her computer because it wasn't working properly. Seriously, this place sucked! Also, the refrigerator made a crazy high pitched noise all night, and the sinks don't drain properly. Never Again Double Tree!

Yelp
Contrary to other reviews, this was not a terrible place to stay. It doesn't have all the hype of the Disney Resorts, but it is a decent hotel. It is relatively close to Disney Springs that you can walk about 3/4 mile or there is a shuttle to Disney Springs & the parks nearly every 30 minutes throughout the day. Restaurant food is okay, but there are so MANY options at Disney Springs I would encourage you to go their for the experience. Pool area is small, but perfect size considering most people go to the park during the day and are not there. Towels are provided and there is a bar next to the pool. There is also a hot tub and splash pad for the kids. Inside there is a market if you've forgotten anything or wants snacks along with a Disney store. The neatest thing in my opinion is that you are able to get free Disney movies to watch from something similar to a Redbox machine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You receive 2 bottles of water daily, free WiFi and of course the DoubleTree walnut chocolate chip cookie!

Claudia C.

Yelp
This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Room service is unavailable and everything is very limited because of COVID guidelines. The room is very comfortable, big, and have a little kitchenette. We love it here

Annabelle L.

Yelp
I stay here just about every time that I go to Disney. I have absolutely no complaints, and some of the things other reviewers have said have not been the case with me. I've always been satisfied with check-in and the room itself. I've even used room service a couple of times and ate in the restaurant downstairs and was satisfied. Of course I never checked in early and I've never parked the car so that sounds like that might have avoided some of the problems other people have mentioned! The resort buses are very hit or miss. You're really better off taking an Uber. There's nothing wrong with the resort buses other than that they don't exactly always show up on time. I waited for 45 minutes at night for bus to Disney Springs and finally just ended up taking an Uber. Truthfully I don't know if the resort buses are contracted by DoubleTree or not. It's kind of hard to complain about them in this review since DoubleTree may have absolutely nothing to do with the Resort buses whatsoever.
