What a fantastic little hotel. The owner is very friendly and charming. Speaks very good English. Helped us book a table for the evening. Also told us lots of places to visit. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was lovely. Delicious coffee made to order.

This was by far our favorite stay during our 12 day bicycling tour through France. We spent two nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. The town is big enough to offer great dining options but small enough to provide that classic small French village atmosphere. ||||The rooms were spacious, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was great and our host was very nice. This is certainly a place that I would love to return to on my next visit to France!

We chose this chambers d'hôtel based on the photos on their website, which promised a beautiful house. And it was beautiful indeed! ||||Our room was spacious, bright and very comfortable. Especially loved the bathroom.||||Also the common space (patio downstairs) was beautifully decorated and cosy. We stayed here in winter and it was not that warm here, but didn't bother us to enjoy the space for a drink and a game.||||Breakfast was varied and tasty.||||Only minor thing we can think of, is that there is no space to sit outside, which would have been nice on our sunny winter day.

We have just stayed one night in Douce Nuits and wished we could have stayed longer. The accommodation has only just opened and everything is very fresh, clean and colourful. The colours of royal blue, black and white run throughout the house, including the inner courtyard, so that you feel like you are staying in a Morroccan Ryad. The rooms are spacious, with small tables and chairs, beds extremely comfortable, lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was huge and delicious, served in the inner courtyard. The staff extremely courteous and friendly.||There is a shop on the ground floor, selling lots of the furnishings from the rooms. There is also a cellar and wine tasting, though this was not happening when we visited out of season.||As mentioned by a previous reviewer, there is no free parking immediately outside the property, though we found some, just around the corner.||Douce Nuits also is dog friendly.

We don't normally stop in bed & breakfast hotels on overnight stays whilst driving to the south, as we usually prefer to have dinner available in the hotel. However, the pictures of the rooms on the website were so inviting, that we decided to book here, figuring that there would be a number of restaurants in Nuits St Georges. We are certainly glad that we made that decision!! The room was lovely, up on the top floor (no lift, so we had to lug our cases up two flights of stairs) and the view was beautiful in the sunshine. The room was very comfortably furnished and the shower room was vast. Breakfast next morning, served in the inner courtyard, was wonderful. We did our best, but there was just too much lovely food - cereals, granola, fruit, yogurts, pastries, bread, juice, coffee......we certainly didn't go away hungry!!||Whilst there are only a few paying parking spaces right outside the property (which are actually free overnight), there is plenty of free parking close by, and we had no trouble finding a space.||||We would certainly recommend staying here.

Nice little gem in Nuits-Saint-Georges. A B&B with personal service and hotel comfort. Room with airco, tastefully decorated, big shower. 2 min walk to centre with all the restaurants and bars. Free public parking in the streets in the neighbourhood.

Very friendly welcome, even though I arrived too early (15.00 check-in time). Big room, (I was given the one for handicapped persons (although I am not); pleasant style, good wifi, large bathroom.||||Very generous breakfast, early in the morning, Was even given the croissants that I had not taken, for my hiking trip.||||Altogether a great stay. Thanks!

Wonderful rooms and perfect location. Great for cyclists. The skylight steps let light into the lower floor of the circular staircase.
