I’ve been waiting to try this place for quite some time, and I guess my expectations were too high. Rumours have had it that this is the best burger in Oslo, but I left unimpressed.
The burger itself was small and quite flat. Finished in a few bites and lacked a bit of interesting something. Drenched in too much ketchup. Plus for very juicy and buttery bread - which for me was the meals highlight. I think the burger would have been more satisfying if I had picked the “double” option, so definitely go for that!
Fries were okei, nice with the rosemary, but I wish they would have been more than luke warm.
The service was nothing short of bad. We stood in front on the counter for a good few minutes not realising that we had to order on iPads (sad, I wish we stopped with screens). The guy working there did not even bother to look up to explain. Barely a few words interaction and it felt unwelcoming.
Plus for short waiting time (but would gladly have waited a bit longer for warmer food).
Overall, a mediocre experience.
