Dover House Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I spent two nights last week and had the most wonderful time. Jane and staff were very inviting and made us feel like royalty. Our queen room was perfect, clean comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast was 9/10. Janes updated pergola was a nice retreat , very relaxing with a serene atmosphere. First time visitor to the area and will definitely return next year. Thanks Jane for pointing us to the local wineries and local eateries. Cheers Terry and Jackie

Had a wonderful time! Jane was attentive and accommodating and gave us great recommendations for food. The house was quaint and clean, and it was an added bonus that she asked for all guests to be vaccinated prior to arrival. Thank you Jane, would love to stay again!

Lovely bed and breakfast! we stayed here on Saturday after our wedding the hostess couldn’t have nicer. the breakfast was fantastic and she was very friendly and excited for our marriage and wedding! she was highly engaged asking questions and seemed so excited for us also she was very accommodating. as we showed up at 11 pm but she left us a Lovey note on the door explaining where our room was. I highly recommend a visit when you’re looking for a place in Dover to stay

Perfect stay at a perfect place. Jane is a very gracious host and made us feel exceptionally welcome and comfortable. She was lovely enough to spend some time chatting with us a while on her beautiful deck as we settled in from our long drive, sharing with us some Port Dover history and regaling us in some stories of her travels and adventures that led her to Port Dover. We stayed in "the Master Bedroom" which was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. It also has a private en suite which was greatly appreciated. The queen bed was absolutely perfect and we slept very well with the room well air conditioned. There was ample parking for our car and the B&B was fully booked that night. Breakfast the next morning was a delight as Jane served us all sorts of treats made possible by the local farming and produce communities around Port Dover. The food was fresh and delicious. We'll absolutely be back when we return to the area and we would recommend this to anyone.

A beautiful, clean home and an exceptional host! Jane was incredibly kind and welcoming and breakfast was delicious. We had a croque monsieur, an apple cake as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. The room was spotless and the deck outside was a lovely spot to have a quiet coffee in the morning. Thank you for having us! We will be back. - Annie & Matt

Jane is an exceptional host. She warmly welcomed us, showed us to our large and spacious room and even offered up a glass of wine. Upon arrival our host Jane met us with open arms and a big ole smile, hence the beginning of a stellar weekend. Our room was super clean and comfy. We don't eat meat and Jane prepared the most amazing breakfast for us. Port Dover is certainly located and is walking distance to pretty much everything. If your looking for a place to stay in Port Dover. Dover House is the place to stay. Look no further, you won't regret it.

Dover House is a lovely home/B&B located on a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a ravine, and exceptionally clean. Jane is a lovely hostess, wonderful chef, very warm and welcoming. I had a restful sleep in a very comfortable queen size bed in the large Blue Room. The fresh breakfast was delicious, with generous portions. I loved every minute of my stay and I'm looking forward to visiting again!
