Nice and relaxed atmosphere, good vibes and the food was great! Burger was very good and fries came covered in cheese, the dirty bird wings were amazing. Fried well and great flavor. Will definitely be back!

Really good food! Service was excellent and staff was so nice. Menu has a huge variety of items, and a full bar in addition to all the food. Highly recommend and will drop by again if in the area! ***Their prices are updated for inflation, so the pricing on the menu pictured aren't correct (i.e. my chicken strip salad -which was AMAZING!!! - was $8.50 instead of the listed $7.50). Not a big deal, just don't take the pricing listed as set in stone.

I liked the place. It was my first time there, and I found the owner to be courteous. The hamburger was good and the fries were very close to the way I like them. I appreciate that the cook allowed me to add salt to my meal, instead of destroying the meal with too much sodium. I may take my brother there for lunch before I head home. Overall, it feels and looks like a neighborhood joint, and that's a good thing.

Pretty good food went here with the boss and have a quick meal. Ended up not getting my app oh well.

We were driving through on our way to Little Rock from Tuscaloosa. Looking for a quick bite for a late supper and entered Helena/West Helena. This spot came up with good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. When I saw fried okra on the menu I was so happy! Food was great and we go there less than an hour before closing. The owner/operator was so kind. Please give him and his great spot a visit.

I recommend anyone within the area to stop by for a meal! Great Food and Service!

I had one of the best hamburgers ever at the Downtown Bar and Grill last night. The restaurant isn't flashy or showy but if you want some real good food, this is the place to go. Big Mike, the owner, and Mr. Fulton the cook couldn't have been more gracious, and I left quite comfortably full and felt like I had made new friends. If you're in the area, you have to give it a try!

Real good food some take out some people sat at and have drinks real good ribs and brisket and the sides be real good

On road trips we look for local eateries with good reviews. We scored!! This place is in the corner of a parking lot in an almost deserted downtown. The burgers were large (1/3 pound?) and tasty. Prices were reasonable; waiter Big Mike was friendly and informative. I wish we could try their dinners.

Find this place!!! Best hamburger I've had in years. The meat was done to perfection, flavorful and juicy. The loaded fries were wonderful. The rest of my party raved over the loaded Philly. Service was good and upbeat to boot. This place is worth finding!!!! Was going back the next day but it was Sunday and closed. I come to Helena once a year and will never eat anywhere else!!!

Food is good. Big portions People are friendly. Everything on the menu is good. It's a nice chill spot.

Food was ok. Service was not great. Took forever to get our food. If you have all day to spend waiting on a meal I guess this is your place.

Great food, great prices I haven't tasted anything that wasn't good. I really love the Philly steak and cheese. The pulled pork barbecue is out of this world!!

We had lunch here the other day and it is definitely a hidden gem in Helena!!! The service was excellent. Super friendly and helpful. My husband loved the fish dinner. My daughter and I had the Gouda cheeseburger. Do not hesitate to order this. At first I thought bbq on it?? But the combination makes it one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. We will definitely be back!!!

The best barbecue sandwich in town! s are great, too! I go for the one with pepper jack cheese.

Absolutely love the Downtown Bar & Grill -- friendly folks and outstanding food at a reasonable price! The barbecue is delicious; the catfish is hot and tender. I'm also partial to the cheesesteak -- be aware that the loaded version includes jalapeños chopped into the mix and the burn is notable (they will hold them if requested). Hard to go wrong with this menu.

I'm pretty sure that bbq sandwich was the best bbq sandwich I've crossed paths with in life. If you make it to Helena, don't miss this spot!

What can I say? Quick service, nice servers, and quality food. Reasonable prices for a small local place. Try the catfish or the barbeque sandwich!

Get the bbq pork sandwich with cole slaw, or anything else. Trust me. The service is pretty quick, so it's not along wait. Very down to earth place. :)
