Downtown Cookies

Giving this 3 stars because it’s just not my preference—I prefer gooey cookies, and these were a bit firmer than I’d like. Tried the Chocolate Chip and Salted Caramel; between the two, I preferred the Salted Caramel, though I would have liked it better without the chocolate chips. That said, my husband really enjoyed the Chocolate Chip, so if you like that style of cookie, it’s worth a try. No line when I visited on a weekday, and I’d love to see more creative flavors in the future—something like Salted Caramel with macadamia nuts would be amazing!

Cookies were good, didn’t mind the $4 cost since they were big and delicious. However, just a word to the wise to go no where near closing time. When my family walked in after dinner, 15 minutes before closing, we were told ”we’re about to close” as we were about to sit down to share. Kinda felt like a nice way of saying please leave. I get it, they probably didn’t want to clean up again, but not sure if the folks who were eating when we walked in or even the ones walking in after us got the same friendly warning.

Cookies were good buuut mmmmm… coffee was basic? Average. No wow.

Downtown Cookies is a wonderful establishment. The staff is very friendly and the cookies are always fresh, with a crunchy edge and chewy middle — texture. I've been more than once now and haven't been disappointed. Highly recommend it if you're in the downtown Haddonfield area.

Large soft chewy delicious cookies in a cute downtown shop. My favorite was the s’mores. It tasted just like a s’mores; maybe even better. They gave me Gideon’s chocolate chip cookie vibes from Disney World. The lady who waited on me was super nice as well, and let me know they ship!

Yum - first off, these are NOT ooey gooey cookies. They are firm on the outside and soft on the inside, but not soft like undercooked. They’re fully cooked and they are GREAT. But if you’re looking for doughy, these aren’t it. The oatmeal raisin was the best oatmeal raisin cookie I’ve ever had and I’m usually someone who forgets I love oatmeal and gets swayed by other fun flavors. Look no further, get oatmeal. All the others were great too. I love how she toasted the marshmallow upon ordering the s’mores cookie. Will definitely be back. Super cute location to sit down and have coffee and a cookie.

Was lucky to receive these cookies as a gift and all I can say is “WOW!!!!!” They are absolutely amazing. The cookies are huge! They are soft, flavorful, and almost too pretty to eat. The lemon blueberry ones (Blueberry Dave) are OMG delicious, as were all the other flavors. I couldn’t even pick my favorite cause they are all perfect. Love that this shop is family owned and fueled by a love for baking. You won’t be disappointed.

The cookies are amazing! They are big and soft which is my favorite. The interior of this place is so cute as well. The service was great. The women who helped us was so nice and made our experience feel welcoming and inviting. I can't wait to come back!!!

Stopped in for my Wife's birthday this morning and it did not disappoint. Greeted friendly right when we walked in the door. The store is clean and easy to navigate. As for the cookies, they were great. We got the Queen Lisa which was their staple chocolate chip cookie. It had a great crispy outside and warm soft center. We also tried the Blueberry Lemon cookie, this was a special for the month and was great too. It had more of a muffin consistency but they used local Jersey blueberries and you can definitely tell! Great spot!

Stopped by for something sweet after having lunch out and downtown cookies hit the mark. I got the Dan the man cookie which was amazing. Hard on the outside and soft isn't great middle a great combination of flavors: Carmel, chocolate, salt Can't wait to stop by again. Only complaint is the price for 1 cookie is over 3 dollars.

I had the craziest sugar craving and decided to have a cheat day when I saw this place! The cookies were so big and had a cake texture but were soft and a little crunchy at the same time, literally perfect! I noticed that they also had a refrigerator with cookie dough that you could buy and bake in your oven at home! Im actually pretty happy that I live so far because if I did live closer I'd definitely gain a few pounds lol. Go satisfy that sweet tooth baby!

Ordered a tray of cookies for the weekend at the shore. Cookies are the best. Place was super clean and workers were friendly. You will not be disappointed it's a must

I've been on the search for my favorite cookie in SJ. I personally love a warm, semi thin and gooey cookie. This was very thick and a little doughy but with lots of toppings which was nice. It's not my preferred cookie but I could see why it would be for someone else

Ladies and gentleman of the Yelp Universe: I have been to heaven, and it is made of Downtown Cookies. Will this be the best cookie you've ever tasted? I'd bet your children's inheritance on it. Will it cost you said children's inheritance for a single cookie? Also yes. $3.75 for a single cookie is pricey, but as is usually the case, you get what you pay for, and I think it's worth it. The cookies are a decent size, and they really are extraordinary. Dan the Man (sea salt caramel pretzel) and Tireless Tony (peanut butter chocolate) are personal favorites. The higher pricing seems to be consistent with most businesses in Haddonfield, not to mention nationwide trends in regards to inflation. The store itself is perfectly situated right in downtown Haddonfield, and is brightly lit, clean, and staffed with friendly employees. I also love that they regularly contribute prizes for events at my son's school (Tatem Elementary in Haddonfield). It's great to see businesses contributing to the community that they are a part of, and in turn I try to support them as much as I can. Give this place a try. You won't regret it!

Wow! A friend sent me a photo of their Eagles themed cookies today, so I rushed there!! They have a great variety and some of the best cookies I've ever had. I'll definitely be back!

Best cookies I've ever have. The lady that works there is so nice. If you also get the the smores one they can toast it for you. I and my friends had an amazing time there.

While walking around downtown Haddonfield we spotted Downtown Cookies and decided to grab a few cookies. The cookies are about $3-$4 a cookie, but they're large and delicious. They have a variety of flavors - everything from your classic M&M to smores to chocolate peanut butter to chocolate chip banana. The cookies are loaded with flavor, have a crunchy outside and a nice soft inside - pure perfection! The shop itself is very cute, bright and clean. There's a counter with the current cookie flavors on display as well as a few tables so you can sit and enjoy your cookies. The shopkeeper were also very nice and happy to help customers.

the stench that reeks from the box smells like sky zone dirty grandma socks and mildew and wet rags combined. i'm disgusted to say the least.

These are some of the BEST tasting cookies ever! My wife and I tried the peppermint chocolate, salted carmel, chocolate chip, sugar, and oatmeal raisin (my fave). These cookies are baked fresh and unite the perfect blend of crunchy and chewy in every bite. I can't wait to go back and try their other flavors and get more of their oatmeal raisin If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by Downtown Cookies and sample as many as you can!

If you try the cookies at Downtown Cookies and say they aren't the most delicious things you've ever eaten you can't be telling the truth! Morgan and her bakers are artists with these cookies. These are massive, dense, delectable cookies with some classic and some unique flavors that Morgan has added her own flair to. She does a flavor of the month which are always on theme for a nearby holiday and they are so fun and absolute works of art. For our wedding, Morgan did an assortment of 5 cookie flavors of our choosing, plastic wrapped each, and then packaged them in individual boxes with ribbons of our color choice (to match our theme!) and then she made stickers and adorned them to each box. It was service beyond what I expected and the presentation was immaculate. We had the cookies placed at each table setting to ensure guests wouldn't forget their favors and, walking around at our reception, we noticed more than a few cookie boxes had already been opened and sampled before the night's conclusion. Couldn't even blame them! Having been set on edible favors, we're so glad we chose Morgan and Downtown Cookies to bring a sweet end to our special day.

The best cookies I have ever had! Lots of great flavors to choose from. They even sell their frozen chocolate chip cookie dough to bake at home. Can't wait to go again!

How great was it to find a small bakery that is better than the "chain" cookie places popping up? Really, really great! I just happened to be walking by after shopping today and decided to stop in. One thing I appreciated in addition to the adorable, clean decor was the friendliness and helpfulness of the person behind the counter. I got a chocolate chip pretzel salted caramel cookie, which was one of the best cookies I've ever had. And I got two amazing biscotti. Can't wait to return and try something different next !

Worth it! After stopping in for cookies and coffee I knew exactly where I was getting my next birthday cake. Everyone raved about how good the cookies and cream cake was. The staff is pleasant and the cake was ready on time.

I have been hearing whispers about Downtown Cookies and now it's time to shout it from the rooftops. They will cost you a chunk of change, but it is worth it. I am a recovering insomnia cookie fanatic, they are warm and gooey and Downtown isn't like that. They are crispy on the outside and just the right amount of gooey on the inside. Best of both worlds. We tried the Queen Lisa (Chocolate Chip cookie), Cheeky Charlotte (Cookies and Cream cookie), and Magical Matilda (M&M chocolate chip cookie.) They were all fantastic and there are more on the menu that I would love to try. The cookies are fairly large and you can easily split them in half and still be satisfied. Can't wait to try some of the other flavors in the future.

Honestly... it was the Oatmeal Cookie... Absolutely delicious. A hearty cookie worthy of praise! I savored every bite more slowly than the one before. Thank Downtown!!

Downtown Cookies did an A+ job of sending out my online order to my girlfriend in need. The response, "These cookies are just what I needed. So yummy, unique and beautifully packaged. Loved the card with the cookies. Now I know where to go for any and all handcrafted cookies" A better review could not be had. I may just have to drive down from north NJ to pick up from the store my own supply soon! Please support this business as they are a local gem trying to do good!

Most amazing cookies ever! We met Morgan and her team at a farmers market and my son (6) loved the cookies and so did we! We ordered custom cookies made as a gift for the nurses in the hospital. She individually wrapped each one and put a custom message celebrating the birth of our daughter. Could not be more thrilled with how they turned out! I find the cookies to be just okay. There's nothing about them that blows my mind. The chocolate chip cookie is missing something... walnuts maybe? They're pricey for $3.50 a cookie, but they're big and when you factor in the location I can justify it. However, with that being said I still expect a mind blowing cookie.

These cookies are UNBELIEVABLE. My husband, daughter, and I can't stop returning for more. They're huge and the inside is perfectly gooey! Store itself is also adorable and they are always so friendly. Now my go-to to send as birthday gifts, do as favors, etc.

These cookies are amazing! I'm not sure if I should describe them as a delicious cake made of cookies or a delicious cookie made of cake, either way they are the definition of scrumptious. Better than NYC's levain! They are such a delight and a perfect size fora desert to treasure. The staff is super sweet, too! Very clean and chic looking store.

If you need delicious cookies, go no further. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a caramel sea salt chocolate chip cookie (the have much fancier names, but that's the take home name). The recipe and execution of the recipes are perfect. I must return some day.

Fantastic! The sugar cookie reminded me of childhood. The salted caramel pretzel was a great balance of salty and sweet. Can't wait to try more of their flavors

My boyfriend and I have inhaled so many cookies from Downtown cookies already and they haven't even been open long. Doesn't help that I work right down the street. My favorite is the cookies n cream and the sugar. Sooooo good. Ugh and the new red velvet one, this place will be the death of me.

Morgan is a pleasure to work with and quite accommodating, I ordered a birthday gift last minute and she delivered without hesitation. The presentation was spectacular with confetti, birthday balloon and birthday blowers, not to mention the more than delicious cookies she baked fresh. I highly recommend cookie crush for local delivery and mail order.

Love this place! Got a box as a Christmas gift. Can't wait to go there and try more of them. Highly recommend this bakery to everyone.
