Michael is an exceptional realtor. All of the reservations I had about working with a realtor for our downtown loft rental (extra costs, unnecessary phone calls, scheduling) were not an issue at all! Michael worked with us from the day of our first tour to give an honest and thorough perspective. He was always responsive within hours of our inquiries. Also, Michael has so much knowledge about every single apartment and condo building in Downtown LA! He can really give you a good overview and pinpoint what characteristics in which building would work best with your needs. He was also very patient with me as I asked him many, many specific questions before making a choice to rent at a loft building in South Park. Then he was communicative every step of the way until the lease was signed and executed and even followed up to make sure we were settling in well. I am truly impressed by Michael and would not hesitate to recommend him. I will be contacting him again in the future on my home search as well. Can't say enough good things!

Michael was incredibly helpful with my family's search for a a place to live in Downtown Los Angeles. As a family with two small kids, finding the type of home in the Downtown market was incredibly difficult. Michael's knowledge about the unit types in all the buildings, as well as his insight into when unlisted buildings are coming to the market was very beneficial to our search. As we were trying to find our property sight unseen, he offered to view each of our prospective units, take pictures, and really get a sense of the entire building for us. By the end of our process, we truly trusted Michael's opinions as they were based on our needs. He listened intently to our needs, developed a list of prospective properties, and then worked within our limited schedule to walk us around downtown. He really showed us what downtown had to offer. Michael Rose was a pleasure to work with. After my roommate and I had several bad experiences trying to find housing in DTLA, It was refreshing to come into contact with Michael who genuinely had our best interests at heart. We stumbled upon the Loft Exchange and Michael as we considered a possible move. I sent a request to see a listing and minutes later I had a reply. A short email exchange later and we were set up to see the listing. I will admit I was surprised how quickly my request was fulfilled. Well, that was just the beginning. Each and every email or phone call was promptly answered. Every appointment to see a listing was again promptly and efficiently handled. We decided to move on a listing, and Michael helped us at each step and offered excellent advice (many aspects we had not considered I will admit) and the entire process went off without a hitch. He even helped with recommendations to assist with our move and furnishing our space. I will add that Michael has a wonderful personality and working with him was easy and enjoyable. I am now sitting in our new home writing this review and loving our new space. I thank Michael for helping us realize our dreams of settling in downtown LA. Mike Ferguson worked diligently to help me land his beautiful bi-level apartment downtown. He was responsive and worked on my behalf to ensure a seamless and timely lease signing and move in process. I met Michael Ferguson back in the summer of 2011. I had moved from NY to LA and was between jobs. With extensive time to look for a place to live, I invested some time searching for the best loft I could find downtown LA. I can say I entered at least 80% of the buildings in the fashion district that had units to rent at the time and consequently met the respective real state agents. I visited dozens of units. Three weeks later, after too many “not good enough” lofts visits, I was about to settle for a small loft and that’s when I heard back from LE and I decided to give it a shot. We met downstairs, we walked up to the unit and even before the door slam in my back, I knew that it was it. Paper work took place immediately, smoothly and I’ve been here since then. If one may think that “it was luck”, here is what happened later: Half way between then and now, when my wife and I decided that would be good to live separate in downtown, I contacted Michael. He arranged a visit to a unit in a building I had previously been interested. The unit was very good and I could see myself living there. It didn’t happen that I had to move out of my current place, but those were the best two lofts I saw downtown, within the price range I was looking for.
