Dozy Lamoon House

Good Value, Quiet Location. The location is great — quiet street with no traffic noise. However, you can sometimes hear people from the hallway, and the walls are a bit thin. Overall, great value for money with friendly staff. A big plus is the small shared kitchenette where you can make tea, coffee, or cocoa, borrow dishes, and enjoy it outside or near reception. This nicely compensates for the fact that there is no fridge in the room. The only serious downside is the strong smell coming from the drains. It was quite unpleasant — we had to keep the bathroom door closed, and we even noticed the smell sometimes downstairs near reception. This is something that really should be improved, as it affects the whole experience. Except for this odor issue, everything else was fine!

We had a great experience here! The staff is so friendly and very helpful. The rooms were ok, pretty standard. Our bathroom had a leak but was fixed once we let them know. Great location and easy to walk to everything.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable but affordable option. Their english was good so it was easy to communicate. They even booked our transfer to pai where we got picked up here. They also gave us water bottles to take for the ride for free. Very clean and friendly staff - I think it was the owner we spoke with.

A warm recommendation full of appreciation and love🌹The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of everywhere I wanted to go, and still very quiet. The hotel itself is full of giving, love, service above all. The staff is noteworthy for their patience and quick care. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. I have no doubt that I will stay again🙏❤️😘

What they advertised and the service they provide doesn't match. They say on Agoda that they have 24 hour check in however there is no check in after 2pm When confronted, they tell us to "read again" when they are the one who listed wrong. Then continue to say "book another place". I have never seen such rudeness and condescension in the service industry. They do not have good English. In fact, rude English. I have no clue why they have good ratings. Making me suspect some of the reviews are fake.

This is a really great spot if you’re looking to stay in the old town, you can walk to all of the temples and you’re always nearby to taxis/ Tuktuk’s/ buses. The room is exactly as described, extremely clean and all of the staff members that we encountered were lovely. They even gave us elephant keyrings as we were leaving- thank you!

The stay in Dozy house was an 11/10 experience. The rooms are super clean and comfy, the location is great to walk to most of the markets and restaurants and the highlight is the host. She made us feel so welcomed and like included in the family. Would never stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai after this.
