Dr Frogs Bar & Grill

We came for a roast dinner on Christmas Eve and firstly, the views and design of the restaurant are beautiful. The food was good but we don’t think it was quite worth the price point (this was a Christmas set menu so appreciate there will be an uplift on the price). The staff were friendly but service was pretty slow. All in all a good place to come for a roast if you are willing to pay the price point.

A perfect place to enjoy a meal with a view. We went for Sunday Roast. As it was our first visit, we both had the mix Roast, with every meat. Next time I think I will go for the porchetta. The plate was full and plenty of sauce on the side. The taste was really good, everything from the meat to the sauce and the vegetables was perfect! Tiramisu was also on point! Will definitely be back, both for Roast and to try the normal menu as well. Recommend to book before as it was full when we were there.

Dr Frogs Bar & Grill was one of my favorite dining experiences during my first trip to Thailand. The location itself is stunning, perched with a wide terrace overlooking the sea. Sitting outside while the sun set was already worth the visit. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a bit refined, a good mix of casual holiday dining with a touch of elegance. The food deserves a special mention. Every dish we tried was flavorful, hearty and beautifully presented. Portion sizes were satisfying, and nothing felt too small or too fussy. For me this was a solid 5 out of 5 on food quality. Prices are on the higher side, but that is common in Koh Samui, and I felt the quality justified the cost. Service was friendly and welcoming, though a little slow. It took some time for the dishes to arrive, which at first was noticeable, but when the food came it really delivered. Staff checked in politely, and I appreciated that they let us enjoy the view without rushing. Overall I would give Dr Frogs 4 out of 5. It is slightly pricey and service could be quicker, but the combination of great food, warm atmosphere and sea views makes it absolutely worth visiting.

The atmosphere and ambiance are stunning. The food is flavorful and fresh. Our server was so helpful and quick and even had recommendations for good markets to shop at! I have had cocktails, wine and an entree every day I've stayed at Boujies and have not been dissatisfied once. Will deff be coming back!

Spent valentines evening at Dr frogs, the atmosphere was lovely, good service, great food. Many things were missing so we had to compromise (I was waiting to try the tiramisu and it was finished) but overall a nice experience on the higher price point on the island.

If I could give it 20 stars I would! True perfection. The food was beyond anything we could have imagined tastebuds could enjoy. They had many options and everything we ordered was outstanding. The service was Impeccable. And the ambiance can’t be beat. The view was the cherry on top! HIGHLY recommend.

Absolutely loved this place! They were all very kind, the restaurant has a great view, the food is delicious and the price is reasonable for what you get. I would definitely come back because the service was the best! They make me feel like home

One of the best meals we had in Koh Samui. Had to go back a second time to try their Roast Dinner which is one of the best I’ve ever had. Only small gripe could possibly be the location as it is a bit isolated and hard to get a cab from. Regardless, highly recommended!
