Leanne is a gem! Helped me in a pinch pick out the perfect shoe right before closing. On a rainy day when I was in sandals… dark times. As a long time Doc enthusiast I can say hands down best in store experience ever. Will be coming back to this location just for them 10/10 all star vibes!

Just came in with a return that couldn’t be made in store. An absolutely lovely employee with pink hair (sorry I didn’t get their name!) went out of their way to pack up my return for me and direct me to the nearest shipping center. They could have easily just given me instructions and sent me on my way, but instead they did all they could to make the process simple. 10/10 customer service. Will definitely be back.

We had the best experience at this Doc Martens! I went in with my mom who was looking for a pair of Mary Janes. The staff went above and beyond to make sure they gave my mom an amazing in store experience. Toni especially went out of her way to ensure my mom was able to get a good look and feel of the pair she wanted by bringing out multiple sizes and styles for her to try on. When my mom decided on a pair that unfortunately wasn’t in stock in her size at the store, Toni went out of her way to look into inventories and call around to other locations to put the shoes on hold for us. We are so happy with this experience and will definitely be coming back to this location for future doc marten purchases!!

TK helped me choose the perfect shoes. The size 9 was comfortable but a bit snug. I wanted to go with the size 10, seemingly they were too big. I wasn’t satisfied so he recommended inserts and when I tried them on they were the perfect fit. If you’re looking for an inviting, patient, and considerate being to help you find the perfect docs. He is the one! Will be coming back to purchase in the future and will be asking for him…

The staff were very nice and patient. My wife tried on a couple of shoes before she decided on which one she wanted to buy. This whole time the staff at the store were very nice and doing their best to engage with my wife and help her decide on the perfect shoes for her.

I bought my 3 piece family a set of Docs on Valentine's day. The staff was knowledgeable & helpful, as can be expected. But 3 months later my sole started to peel so I brought it back in with no outcome expected. Grace, the store manager, was able to pull up my receipt with a few key bits of info, and replaced my boots on the spot with a brand new pair. This was above and beyond what I expected. I've made it a point to applaud great experiences with businesses I'd recommend, rather than complain about the baddies out there, and Doc Martens makes the short list big time. Hang on to Grace, Doc. She's got her eye on the big picture which is invaluable for on-site management.

For over a month, I had plans to buy a particular boot, but wanted to see it in person and up close. I had time yesterday to not only try on, but to purchase the boots, if they were to my liking. I called in advance to see if they had my size, and BINGO, they had one pair left. By the way, the customer service over the phone was excellent and quite pleasant. Once I was at the store, Christine was so helpful and a complete sweetheart! She did everything to accommodate me, from making expert recommendations to re-lacing my new boots, as well as some other secret squirrel girly things. The other staff on hand were just as dope. I had a fun time at Doc Martens on Bedford, and would highly recommend!

Pink haired women was absolutely horrible. So unhealthful and RUDE. seemed she did not want any business and that me trying to buy shoes was an inconvenience to her. I was going to buy the shoes, but her attitude had me running the other way.

Great selection of shoes and boots, and the staff have always been kind and go out of their way to help you.

My son loves to shop here. He insisted in bringing me here to buy Shoes for me. He wanted me to pick a Green pair. When I walked in the store was full of customers, I got so excited at the wide variety of colors, felt like a kid in a toy store. I sort of understood people who loves shoes. I took a pair of really nice white ones because I want to personalize it with self made Art. Super nice store in the area to buy high quality water resistant boots. Not having to go to a mall to get something nice like this was a really great shopping experience. Yes, I want more Shoes from here. :)

We went walking around the area and decided to step in just to look. This shop has a big selection of shoes and boots I tried on a few pairs and I bought a pair of water resistant boots (grey mare) . The sales lady sold me on these she even showed me how good the boots were. She poured water and it rolled right off the suede material. I was sold! I was with my family and the staff was very attentive they kept my 2 boys occupied while I tried on shoes. The staff is so experienced that I bought boots in the spring!!! Kevin entertained my kids with stickers, buttons, headbands and a ninja turtle toy. Very friendly I've shopped at shoe stores before and I liked the vibe of this place The staff was welcoming, young and attentive and on top of that they weren't too pushy on getting a sale it's like their main focus was for me and my family to leave happy with my purchase. And I am. I am actually looking forward to wearing my new boots. After we left we went next door and got the staff some cookies of appreciation from schmackary's

These people are INCREDIBLE. Ask for Selene & she will HOOK YOU UP. Best customer service. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I felt so taken care of & like a rockstar in my new docs. Couldn't recommend this store more :)

I stopped at Dr. Marteens in Williamsburg for some shoes for my daughters, the guy who was at the place greeted us kindly but was busy with someone (I supposed) Two more young people came out from the back, they passed us by without asking or offering help and when I asked one of them about the children's shoes, the answer was what is there that we have ... In contrast then I stopped at another shoe store in the area, the seller told me we do not have what you are looking for, but you can search our website and if we have you can order it and tomorrow you can pick it up here ... Wao! Quality customer service ... Some recognized brands should take this into consideration, the quality of their product is not enough. you need the human touch.

I highly recommend Dr Martens Williamsburg for any of your Dr Martens needs. Dwight the assistant manager went above and beyond to get me a pair of platform shoes for my daughter that are sold out everywhere online. The Dr Marten store in my city is no longer open. I picked the Williamsburg store randomly because its the closest to my daughter at school and Im so glad I did. Dwight was super accommodating, friendly and so nice to deal with even checking in to make sure my shoes arrived - which they did literally a day later. If you're in the market for Dr Martens go visit Dwight!

Absolutely love this shop. The staff was very helpful & very patient with me (Isabelle & Leon). They helped me find a pair of Docs to replace the beat up pair I had worn to the store. Both of them were stylish and really knew the products, and helped me pick out some shoes that would compliment my personal style. Ended up getting 2 pairs of studded Docs, as well as a shoulder bag to go with it! Next time I need a new pair of boots, I know exactly where to go :)

Jonathan at this location is phenomenal. I was struggling with a return and he was able to help me! I even had quite a poor experience at another store location in Manhattan, so I feel so lucky that I happened to wander in here on a day that Jonathan, an angel from above, was the manager on duty. So dang friendly and helpful, he restored my faith in a brand that I previously loved but have recently been struggling with. Doc Martens, never let Jonathan go - you'll regret it. Jonathan for president.

Walked in this afternoon to straight attitude, it started with a one of the associate there and it ripped to the behind the counter. Walked way and dropped my money at DNA, much better customer service there.

This was my first time buying Dr. Martens and I am very pleased with both my purchase and the customer service! They were very patient and encouraged me to take my time when trying on various Chelsea boots. I also appreciated the candid conversation about the difference between the classic boots and the vegan boots. Very satisfied with my experience here.

the employee who helped me out was a tall dude of color with a beard. he got me everything i needed and answered all of my questions. if you know who i'm talking about, he's definitely a valued worker. my first and only pair of docs i have are from when I was 14 (16 years ago). Back then I think they were all still made in England. The guy told me that the English leather is thicker, which is why mine have held up for so long. But essentially you just have to treat them well no matter where they are made. He also recommended i try insoles and now the new boots fit great. I polished them for the first time and I can't wait to break them in.

I unexpectedly strolled in to Dr. Martens and have to say I had such a nice experience. Especially with Leanna. I realized that store is like a candy store with so many good variations of product in platform, colors, heights, designs. Aligns with my style. Leanna is super genuine, helpful, patient and a pleasure to shop with. I know I'll get a good opinion and she cares about helping you make a good purchase. My husband and I bought our daughter her first pair of Doc Martens when she graduated from the eighth grade. Twenty-one years later, she is still wearing those beloved shoes! But now they have her heart's competition from a new pair that we bought together last week at the Bedford Avenue store. Our shopping experience was unbelievably positive, due in large part to our sales representative, Daiju. She was so personable, patient, and knowledgeable - we were all touched by her elegance and warmth. Thank you for making our day together in Brooklyn, our daughter's 35th birthday, so lovely and memorable!

I was in Williamsburg for Smorgesburg and decided to stop by Dr. Martens since I've never been to the actual brick and mortar store. It was really busy, but one of the employees, Isabelle, was super friendly and took her time to help me look and pick out shoes to try on. She was incredibly attentive and after trying on a few different styles, I finally found a pair that I really like. While I didn't buy that day, I just bought the pair the pair Isabelle helped me pick out online. Definitely will come back when I'm ready for a second pair.
