Last December I bought the new shoes from The Met series at the Dr Martens store in Rotterdam. However, the laces were already broken the next day. I went back to the store and even though they didn't have the same color laces, the employees helped me as best they could. At home I decided to send a message to customer service. I was hoping they had extra laces lying around somewhere. However, they didn't have this and their solution was to return my shoes to the store. However, they no longer had the shoes in stock in my size so I would get my money back. I have decided to keep the shoes and buy laces elsewhere because the shoes themselves are fantastic. The only reason I'm raising this is that I think they give their customers who spend quite a lot of money on their shoes a better solution than; return the shoes. I think it would be a good idea to have extra laces in stock, for example.
