During my visit to the Dr. David J. Guzmán National Museum of Anthropology (MUNA), I was disappointed to learn that non-citizens are charged **15 times the regular price** compared to locals. While I understand that many cultural institutions offer discounted rates for residents, the extreme disparity in pricing feels discriminatory and unjust.
The museum itself is a valuable cultural and historical resource, and I appreciated the exhibits and information provided. However, the pricing policy left a negative impression and made me feel unwelcome as a foreign visitor. Charging non-citizens such a high fee creates a barrier to accessing cultural education and seems counterproductive to promoting El Salvador's heritage to the world.
I hope the museum reconsiders its pricing structure to ensure fairness and inclusivity for all visitors, regardless of nationality.
