Dragon Bridge

One of the icons of Da Nang. It has a fire and water show every weekends on 9pm. I wouldn't say that it's a must see, don't fret yourself if you're only at Da Nang during the weekdays, the city has other beautiful places to see and go to. But if you're at the city during the weekends then it wouldn't hurt to see the show. The show looks more better from a distance, because if you're close then you wouldn't see the whole bridge. If you're going to watch it up close I suggest you bring an umbrella since you'll be within the spray area of the water. You can wait until the show starts at the nearby Son Tra market. Have dinner or buy merchandise there, then make your way towards the bridge 5 to 7 minutes before the show starts so you can secure a spot.

The bridge is perfectly placed for a riverside walk, with easy access to cafés, night markets, and viewpoints along both sides of the river. Whether you cross it on foot, drive over it, or admire it from below, it’s a must-see symbol of Đà Nẵng’s modern, energetic spirit.

This Bridge and the surrounding areas have a special vibe. Evening times are pleasant. You have the fire and water show conducted on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 pm till 9.15 pm. The whole bridge is lit and the show is awesome for kids and Adults alike. Be there on the right side of the bridge by 7.30 Pm and reserve the best Riverside seat to watch the show.

Very nice bridge 🌉 they make the show for the dragon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 pm. The show stay until 9:20 pm. Be early there to have good place for filming. There is a night market under the bridge very nice ❤️❤️❤️

The Dragon Bridge is an easy and tourist-friendly stop, with a night market right next to it. The fire-breathing dragon show runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9:00 pm and can be viewed from both sides of the bridge and from the bridge itself. Around Christmas, expect limited viewing spots. Street vendors often set up tables and chairs limited for their own customers, and a large Christmas tree and decorations can block some of the best views. Finding a clear spot can be tricky unless you squeeze in a photo opportunity in between trees or watch from a nearby café. The dragon only breathes fire a few times before switching to water, which was a bit disappointing, and the whole show lasts less than 5 minutes. On our visit, the bridge was closed to traffic about 15 minutes beforehand, allowing people to walk onto the road and take photos. Security was visible, and everything felt safe and well organized. Worth seeing once—just don’t expect a long or dramatic show.

Spectacular show, we enjoyed it a lot, the show is only on the weekends (Friday,Saturday and Sunday) which begins at 9 pm and end by 9:10 pm. Make sure to reach early and get a perfect place to watch the show, it gets crowded. If u are on the bridge near the head of the dragon would suggest u to carry umbrella or raincoat as the water show will surely drench u fully.

I’m really not quite sure what’s special about this show… the bridge itself looks quite nice. Came 1hr early to get a nice front row spot to view the show! Only happens Fri-Sun at 9pm. However was utterly disappointed. The dragon only plainly spit Fire and Water several times, with intervals in between. Really not worth my time.

Its definitely an attraction. The main event is the Fire and Water show every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9p. The dragon shoots fire and water at the crowd and last like 10-15 minutes. It’s a crowd pleaser for tourists and locals. I do suggest seeing it up close during the day and also at night. It is an architectural masterpiece.
