Dragon Inn Chinese Restaurant Leyburn

Ordered a prawn dish and got given chicken. I’m pescatarian so meant I had no meal as we do not live in Leyburn and couldn’t come back. Main concern is if it happened to someone else who had an allergy and not just a preference. Understand mistakes happen so just a pre warning for anyone else to make sure to check when collecting their order.

Omg, looked at the reviews thought still give it a try wish I didn’t, ordered curry rice and chips orange curry crazy colour chips ok rice half cooked yak went in the bin. I ordered chilli pepper ribs, absolutely awful greasy no flavour and zero meat. The lot was binned I really wouldn’t recommend you’ve been warned.

Ordered from Aygarth lodges, ignore website they do deliver and take payments over the phone. Food was nice. No complaints :)

Lady serving in the takeaway was lovely but that was as good as it gets. Sadly, the food was terrible. We barely touched it and most went in the bin. Mushy fried rice, slimy omelette and the rest just tasted weird. Chips/salt and pepper chips weren't horrible and apparently the chicken curry was ok - but not good by any means. I would have sent it back in a restaurant but paid cash in a takeaway when on holiday. I'm confused by the positive reviews, maybe they have different chefs so can be a bit hit and miss? For us, on a Monday night, it was a huge miss! Incidentally, it would have been good value if the food was good.

I was down in Leyburn for a few days for a family wedding and had the displeasure of experiencing the worst Chinese I've ever had. Chicken fried rice was boiled, chewy and insipid looking. The spare ribs were bare and had no meat on them. The chips were admittedly very good but not enough to carry this awful meal. I truly feel for the country folk of Leyburn who don't know there is better Chinese food out there. AVOID.

Order food and got it quickly .got to our friends home and got food out . Only to find out wrong order was given to us. Went back to sort out. Not happy with there service.
