This is one of the very best Chinese restaurant we have experienced. The food was original Chinese, the service first class and the atmosphere perfect. If you are visiting Tamworth, then a meal at the Dragon Palace is a must.

Really a great positive surprise! Many courses are better than what we have in Sydney city. Ordered the Jade Banquet. Many courses and each course is well designed and served. Will definitely recommend and come back for it though we live 5 hours away from here!

My wife and I stayed overnight in Tamworth on our trip interstate and tried a takeaway from the Dragon Palace Chinese Restaurant for dinner. We ordered vegetable spring rolls (the largest we have ever had!), satay chicken and fried rice. Seriously, they were the most delicious and filling Chinese meals we have had for many years! The lady at the reception desk was very helpful too and explained the most popular meals on offer. We were not to be disappointed - all three meals exceeded our expectations!!! If we return to Tamworth again, we know which takeaway restaurant we will be heading to! A very well done to your whole team - the chefs and all your support staff! We now know why your restaurant was so busy with takeaways that evening!

Beautiful Chinese and Malay meal. Huge servings, so a second meal on the road to be enjoyed. Fried rice actually looked like it may of hit a wok at some stage, unlike the pale steamed rubbish you seem to get elsewhere. Our waitress ( I’m old school) was great, put her smile on the menu. Wine was nice, a bit expensive maybe If back in Tamworth again this place will be a must do.

Excellent service , excellent food .. We had a very late booking yesterday 2 June 2025 thinking that they won’t accommodate because we called couple of Chinese restaurants and all said NO .. but they said yes u can come in .. impressed with the call and the way they talked to us . Went there ordered food and finished all .. the food and service were excellent. Keep that up Dragon palace . It’s a compliment from a chef . I’m a chef and I know how the food should taste like , and they have done it !! Good job guys!!

Delicious Chinese food,feels like l am in my hometown.Everything here amazed me.Amazinggggggggggg!

Food was delivered (after nearly 2 hours) cold and was missing a dish. Tried ringing to rectify the problem but they had apparently taken the phone off the hook. Had to resort to Facebook messages and emails just to get a response 2 hrs after food was delivered.
