Wow doesn’t due it justice. I have eaten all over the world, this place is one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to experience. Food, service, atmosphere all on the mark. You just have to go there yourself and you will be amazed. Reservations suggested.

We had a wonderful dinner at Dragonfly last night. Food, service and atmosphere is top notch. Shared sushi. It was excellent. The two sauces very nice. My husband had sea bass, large plate. I had Fiery Thai steak. Cooked as I wanted medium rare. Then shared a tre leches cake as desert. Coctails were very well prepared as well. Like anything, restaurants are not inexpensive in Tamarindo. Take that in consideration.

One word WOW!! First off, always make a reservation (check the website, multiple ways to reserve. I reserved via whatsapp and within a minute i had confirmation). What a beautiful location, the vibe, the decor, the music.. everything fit so well! The service was fantastic, the waitress was super friendly, gave great advice on food choices. Food was fast, and AMAZING! Everything was so delicious, so beautifully presented. Hats off to the whole team at Dragonfly Bar & Grill. From the minute we walked in to the moment we walked out, everything went flawlessly. The way the team works is amazing! Thankyou for a lovely evening

The most PERFECT location for our rehearsal dinner! The food and drinks were fantastic - everyone raved about them all night. Service was great and super quick, especially since we had over 30 people. The atmosphere is one of the best in town. We’ll be back!

We did not have reservations, but they got us a table right away! It was the best filet mignon I've ever had! The staff was amazing! We will definitely return when we go back to Tamarindo! 5 stars! The espresso martini was also delicious!

Food was good, not great, especially given the prices. The sushi was very fresh and seems to be one of the best items to order here. Lots of covered/indoor seating, but the wooden chairs are primitive and uncomfortable.

Didn’t live up to the hype. Really nice atmosphere and somewhat decent service, but we expected so much more from the food. Aside from the fact that the prices are crazy, the food is just so mediocre. I’d definitely avoid the sushi - more rice than fish and they don’t really know what they’re doing. The whole fish was cooked well but just bland. Croquettes were delicious and was the one standout dish, but the beet salad was another huge rip off, literally like 4 slices of beets? Bathrooms are also a bit awkward We won’t be returning to this one - much better food within steps of this place!
