This was definitely a disappointing meal here. The sushi was not fresh at all - the texture and quality was definitely not fresh. Almost all the dishes except their whole snapper were missing a good balance of flavour and execution.
The service was also the worst we've had in the town. When we asked our server for another drink, his answer was "what...what I'm busy, what do you want." That left us pretty speechless.

Great nice quality dinner and great service! We ordered the sashimi & nigiri plate, the sesame seared yellowfin tuna, and a tres leches which were all delicious. For drink we had the dragon fruit mojito and the Paloma which were both excellent!

It’s a very cute restaurant with nice staff. The menu was interesting has a lot of Asian inspired items. The red snapper was well cooked but could not get over the sauce . It was very sweet . The seafood pasta and the drinks we both got were good.

We have been in Dragonfly second time for my husband Birthday , my red snapper was huge and cooked perfect and my husband surf and turf , stuffed lobster with a crab and steak medium rare , as I don’t eat a meat the most of time I like his steak )), the food was delicious and the desert (fried icecream ) was superb !
Also there is a live music , if someone like it !
Really enjoyed this restaurant and would be back definitely

The food was actually AMAZING. Flavorful and fresh. They had an excellent selection of drinks, entrees and desserts. It was our most expensive meal in tamarindo, $142 usd for 2 people - but that included cocktails, entrees and dessert.

We had a fantastic dinner here on our last night in Costa Rica. Highly recommend the Buddha bowl (and I added seared tuna). The tuna was cooked PERFECTLY, and the bowl was so flavorful. Delicious tofu and the sauce was amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

Dragonfly is a nice spot for dinner for all types of occasions. Menu has a nice variety of options including sushi. We tried some gyoza, three sushi rolls, mozzarella empanada and the kale salad. Sushi was nice and fresh and the kale salad was great. They also had some light live music which was nice!!! We didn’t order drinks but they a nice selection to choose from.

This is the perfect dinner spot! Dragonfly was one of the best places we ate while in Tamarindo. They had a wide range of foods on the menu, great drinks, and quick service. I had sushi and it was so delicious! This restaurant may not be right downtown, but I am so glad that we tried it and hope you do too.
