Dragonfly Hostels Miraflores

It's a fairly standard hostel, which is a good thing. It checks all the boxes, and doesn't have major cons. +good location - not as beautiful as some other areas but a few minutes walk from everything + quiet - not party hostel, and no street noise, as it's within a plaza. + good basic roof and a small terrace + washroom+shower in room. I prefer it over having to walk to a shared shower. + good common area on ground floor - fairly small lockers - less security than I'd like. Room doors aren't locked (it is nice to not need a key though) Overall, really nice!

The location is quite central, reception is friendly. The dorm has it's own bathroom, which is a plus. A pity the hostel and rooms have no heating thus it's quite cold duirng winter.

My brother and I stayed in a private room with private bathroom. The room was located on the roof top, with windows out to the public area, so it was not that private. During the night it was not quiet on the roof top either. The room was very small and the single bed even smaller. Friendly service, though, we got helped getting a cab to the airport.

The hostel is just excellent. The staff are incredible. The dorms are so comfortable and the bathrooms are really great with excellent showers. The common areas and breakfast are all equally brilliant and the location couldn't be more perfect. I highly recommend staying here when you're in Lima!

Decent hostel but our room was room T that opened to the rooftop bar. Thankfully it was quiet but if not it would have been a nightmare. Wifi didn't work in the room.

Owner and staff are extremely rude to guests. Wifi doesn’t work anywhere except right by the router in the common area. It’s too hot in the rooms. I asked to be compensated (which is the industry standard in hospitality but the owner is too stingy or ignorant to acknowledge this) and a partial refund but the owner keeps being rude calling it "blackmail". Avoid at all costs or prepare to be taken advantage of

Came for a room, went to draw money to pay. Came back a few hours later with a new intention of leaving to Cusco that same day and they made me pay for just leaving my bag. This has never happened to me in another hostel. They are only interested in maximising their returns without any consideration for you. Watch out.
