Dragonfly Hostels Miraflores

If you're given 'the terrace' room turn it down. They don't close the roof bar like they are supposed to so you're stuck asking people to be quiet until 1am. They have a kitchen that you can't access until 10am, so you have to have their breakfast which I haven't seen at any other accomodation in Central/South America. Location is the main benefit of this place, it's less than 5 minutes from Kennedy Park and 2 minutes from a large supermarket. They can also book you excursions, surf lessons, airport transfers and transport round Peru.

Good location if you like Miraflores. I had a single room. Very basic, no air-conditioning. Reasonably quiet. No hot water in the shower despite reporting this to reception. Decent bar on the 2nd floor terrace.

The Hostel is located in the central of Miraflores, the pickup service from and to the airport is reasonable and the staff is friendly. We just had a room on the side to the street, which was a little noisy.

It's a fairly standard hostel, which is a good thing. It checks all the boxes, and doesn't have major cons. +good location - not as beautiful as some other areas but a few minutes walk from everything + quiet - not party hostel, and no street noise, as it's within a plaza. + good basic roof and a small terrace + washroom+shower in room. I prefer it over having to walk to a shared shower. + good common area on ground floor - fairly small lockers - less security than I'd like. Room doors aren't locked (it is nice to not need a key though) Overall, really nice!

Pros: good location, fair price, pretty clean, fairly quiet, friendly staff. Cons: no towels included, no drinking water, small beds, crammed room (8bed), no bed curtains.

My brother and I stayed in a private room with private bathroom. The room was located on the roof top, with windows out to the public area, so it was not that private. During the night it was not quiet on the roof top either. The room was very small and the single bed even smaller. Friendly service, though, we got helped getting a cab to the airport.

The hostel is just excellent. The staff are incredible. The dorms are so comfortable and the bathrooms are really great with excellent showers. The common areas and breakfast are all equally brilliant and the location couldn't be more perfect. I highly recommend staying here when you're in Lima!
