Dragonfly Hotel - The Art Hotel

We stayed at this hotel in Mumbai and had a wonderful experience regarding the facilities. The room was excellent, well-appointed, and the in-room services were top-notch. Cleanliness was flawless throughout our stay. The dining experience was a major highlight. Both breakfast and dinner (which was included) were delicious. A special thank you goes to the restaurant staff for their great service, especially the young man with glasses, who was incredibly attentive and professional. We also truly appreciated the room upgrade we were given; it was a very kind gesture that made our stay more comfortable. The only downside, however, was the indifference of the reception staff. As foreign travelers in a city as vibrant and complex as Mumbai, it is easy to feel a bit lost. We expected more guidance and warmth, but the only assistance we received was being told to 'just take an Uber.' A little more empathy and helpfulness toward international guests would go a long way. Despite the cold welcome at the front desk, we highly value the commitment of the restaurant team and the quality of the rooms. It is a great hotel, provided you don't need much help from the lobby

Recently renovated, Restaurant Cocoon, Mumbai offers a refreshed ambience that perfectly complements its outstanding food. We opted for vegetarian dishes, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional — a solid 10/10. The mushroom galouti kebab was soft, flavourful, and melt-in-the-mouth, while the royal hara bhara kebab was rich and perfectly balanced. The comforting dal makhani, paired with rice, was creamy, well-cooked, and deeply satisfying. Desserts truly stole the show — the rawa mawa with rabdi was absolutely super-ultra amazing, indulgent without being overpowering, and a perfect end to the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-class vegetarian food in Mumbai, especially if you appreciate refined flavours in a newly refreshed setting.

I planned a proposal and I had booked a stay as well. These guys are so amazing in service that they completed the check in process smoothly and seamlessly. They upgraded me to the premium room that felt great for a beginning. Everything went so smoothly and in a very nice manner, thank you to the team and dragonfly management Mayuresh did a great job and thanks again to the management and the team for the complimentary guitarist that made our evening even more special. She loved it and that was satisfying for me. So thanks again!!

The service at Dragonfly Hotel is excellent. The staff truly knows how to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Whatever is shown in the pictures—be it the décor or the overall setup—is exactly what you see in reality, which makes the place very trustworthy. It was an amazing experience overall. I must say, whatever they promise, they deliver exactly the same.

Dragonfly Hotel Dragonfly Hotel looks like it wants to be more than it is. The entrance greets you with Buddha statues and patches of green, but the path to reception is laid with small stones, a design choice that makes something as simple as pulling your luggage feel like a struggle. The reception itself is narrow and crowded, and the welcome from the staff carried no warmth. For a place that dares to call itself four star, the opening act felt hollow. The room told the same story. A large window wall promised light but only delivered a view of the road and buildings opposite. The designs tried for elegance, but the details betrayed them. The shower bottles, the coffee sachets, the chairs, all of it looked the part from afar but lacked the finish when you touched or used them. In the morning the façade collapsed completely. As I took my shower, the ceiling began to drip with water from the room above. What should have been refreshing became revolting, and it revealed not just a leak but a deeper flaw, a structural wound that will eat the hotel from within. In the common spaces, rows of cheap statues and imitation paintings stood as if to convince guests of some artful soul. But they felt like props in a poorly staged play. The breakfast was much the same. Complimentary in name, disappointing in nature. A handful of oily dishes, an omelette that was just acceptable, and coffee that was merely decent. The room was cramped and crowded, leaving no sense of leisure in what should have been a gentle morning meal. What soured the stay further was the insistence of the staff at check-out, pressing guests to give ratings before they had even set down their bags. It explained too much. The inflated score online was not earned by merit but forced by pressure. Dragonfly Hotel is not the haven its name suggests. It wears the mask of a four star, but beneath it lie leaks, cheap imitations, poor food, and service that chases numbers rather than hospitality. One night was more than enough to see through the illusion. 3/10

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff Mr.Tapan were incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help with a smile. The service was top-notch—from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. I also really enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service and comfort!

Had a wonderful stay at Dragonfly Hotel. The interiors are truly lovely stylish, clean, and very well maintained. A special mention to Mr. A.
