Very disappointing and misleading experience.
I called Dream Exotics 2–3 times before arriving to confirm the exact price for a Lamborghini Huracán for 3 days. Each time, I was told the total would be $2,700 + 20% tax, which comes to around $3,500.
I even paid a $500 deposit to make sure they would secure the car for me, especially because Las Vegas was hosting a major Truck & Car Show, and everything in town was renting out quickly.
When I arrived to pick up the car, the representative (Mike) suddenly started adding outrageous insurance charges and random fees that were never mentioned on the phone. I told him I already have full coverage with GEICO, but he kept pushing extra insurance and upselling. I dint take it !
Then he showed me a screen with a total price of over $7,500 — more than double what I was quoted. I explained that we had confirmed the price several times, and he simply said:
“It’s hard to get a price over the phone.”
What a joke — that’s the whole reason I called in advance.
I refused the rental, and he said they would refund the deposit.
But the biggest issue was that because of the large event in town, every exotic car was already rented out, leaving me with no options after trusting that Dream Exotics would honor the confirmed price.
Before renting here, please read the other 1-star reviews — many customers report the exact same pattern:
• Low bait price online or by phone
• Huge surprise charges at the counter
• Pressure to buy unnecessary insurance
• Final price ends up 2–3× higher
• Reservation does not guarantee the actual price
I do not recommend renting from Dream Exotics.
Your reservation and your quoted price mean nothing once you arrive. Don’t waste your time — choose an honest rental company instead.
💯P.S. Maik - You won’t get far treating people like this. Customers travel from other states, stay in Las Vegas, and plan their entire trip around these rentals. You don’t realize the situation you put people in when you change the price at the last moment. Stop misleading customers. Be honest upfront about the real price so people can make their own decision to take it or not. It’s unfair, it’s stressful, and it ruins their experience.
