Dream Heaven Haveli-Pichola Lake/Lake View Cafe in Udaipur

The hotel is very near to Chandpole which is a very busy area of Udaipur. Most of the attractions are very near. We have Lake Pichola view from the Hotel roof and its just awesome. Baghore ki Haveli is just on the opposite bank of the lake.|They have a roof top restra and offer good food. We liked our stay at the hotel.|Given they are friendly and helping in all aspect. We visited with our pet child which they welcomed.|Only drawback is the staircases, they don't have lifts. Given the old classic way of stay, it is neither expected.|The parking of personal vehicle is little far as the place it just on the main busy area.

Don't deserve 1 star also... Worst of the worst. Had very bad experience. Recommend you to stay at zostel.. if family then can check Baba Heritage hotel/Devaraj niwas.... The building of this hotel is under renovation... Service is worst.... Water smelled soooo bad. Not worth the money... We had booked for 4 night stay... Got out from there on 2nd morning only... When the building is under renovation they should let us know in advance and cancel the booking... They didn't even know that they had a booking on the day we went... The person who is responsible there calls us to rooftop to talk about payment. We just left the door open and came back... Didn't feel safe either... Recommend you not to go... The person locks of before 8pm.. we waited out for 20mins to get that gate opened.... Morning also same issue when we call the person he says go to rooftop and wake up the guy he will have key... it doesn't have lift also... Attached the photo of current entrance... Other side full construction going on.... Please don't go and regret....🙏

The hotel has an amazing view of Lake pichola and the environment is peaceful. It is a heritage hotel. Staff and manager behaviour is very good and supportive.|Food is the best in quality and price is also reasonable as compared to other rooftop restaurants. It is the best place to chill out with friends and family.

This hotel made my trip even more better. Best thing about this is mouthwatering food and humble staff. The hotel is at a great location, you can enjoy the view of pichola lake. I have never seen a better rooftop than this. Must visited place in udaipur. I went with my family and we were pleased with the service offered.

We love this place! We came here 7 years ago and we remembered it since than so we came back. We like the owner, the view from the terrace, its quiet rooms and the food they prepare in the terrace restaurant. The view from the terrace is amazing, it's just above the lake on Hanuman Ghat. Hanuman Ghat is cosier than the very touristic Lal Ghat. Highly recommend 🙌

This is definitely the best place to stay in Udaipur, I spent two nights there and I was so sad to leave this place. Hotel has rooms and restaurant with an incredible view on the lake because it is situated super close from water, the team is amazing they will take care of you like their own child and the food was really really REALLY great ! Thank you so much, I wish you all the best and I really hope I will come back one day ...

Cozy, vintage stay. Nice rooftop restaurant to get a view of udaipur lake. Walkable distance to haveli and ghat, nearby to walking bridge. You can also spot some cafes on bank of the lake. Good comfortable experience, we stayed 3days here.

I chose this place based on trip advisor reviews but something must have happened during covid because my experience does not match up with pre covid reviews. I paid extra for a delux room but this wasn't delux by anyone's standards. There was mould on the wall, the sheets were too small for the bed, the bathroom was pretty rusty and there was only one working plug socket half way up a wall that fizzed when you plugged anything into it. There was just one super bright strip light in the room, with the switch the other end of the room from the bed, there were only net curtains on the windows which didn't block out any light. Only one small towel provided and most places do provide toilet roll for westerners but not here. I didn't feel it was good value for the price I paid. yes you get a good view of the lake but I would still say it was overpriced. Online it is known as dream heaven haveli but locally as dream heaven guesthouse, perhaps if I hadn't booked online I would have got a much better price.
