We absolutely adored our stay at the Dream Inn for our honeymoon! The owners and staff were so helpful and accommodating, and provided us with excellent local recommendations. They have partnerships with some local restaurants for a guest discount, which was a nice bonus. Our room was lovely and very clean. This may actually have been the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in; we saw the cleaning crew cleaning and dusting constantly during the day. The hotel itself is very well maintained and updated also. We loved that we were able to open the windows in our room as well to let in the ocean breeze! There is a beautiful beach just a 5 minute walk away, and the hotel offers chairs and coolers for rent. We were provided with beach towels in our room as well. The sunscreen and bug spray in the lobby came in handy too! Oh, and don't forget to visit the pool & rooftop deck. So relaxing and the view was incredible! We can't wait to come back again!

Really nice hotel—super clean with great staff, very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited, but most of the time you’ll find a spot right in front. If you’re staying over the weekend, rooms facing the street can get a bit loud, but honestly, if you’re in Puerto Rico on a weekend, you should be out there making some noise too! 😊 if this could be an issue for you ask for a room that is not facing the front. I have stayed there twice and will definitely stay again.

Adorable inn close to restaurants, stores and beach. Jorge at the front desk was welcoming, accommodating and made our stay great! Inn has a zen/ industrial vibe and they serve coffee daily downstairs. Parking and very safe. I was glad to be able to park the car and walk everywhere. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent location--walking distance to a gorgeous beach and many delicious food options. The rooms are perfect for couples. Small, but really cute and makes the AC incredibly effective. Rooms were so clean. Great wifi. You also get beach towels included which was great. So convenient to have a balcony for wet clothes at a minimum. The rooftop is really cute as well! The staff were excellent--very helpful and welcoming. The lobby is very welcoming and has lovely incense burning. The check in and check out process is so easy even after hours. There's free parking in front as well. We also loved the outdoor shower to rinse off before heading up to our room. They also offer coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas at an additional cost, which is convenient. Would definitely stay again!

We picked this place to stay the night before our cruise because of the good reviews - and yes they are true! We had an amazing stay. The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean. The location is great - short walks to local restaurants and the beach. Staffs are super friendly. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a nice modern feel. We enjoyed the roof top at night and loved the city view. It is conveniently located near an Italian restaurant called Pirilo who has great pizza and the La Coffeetera has great coffee & breakfast. We walked to the beach and all around and felt safe. It was also easy to use Uber. There are a few parking spots available if you have a car too.

Google
We only stayed one night and picked it because it was close to the airport, but I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely and calm the space was. Beautiful architecture, friendly staff with a bit of that backpacker vibe (laid back, self service coffee in lobby, rules about quiet hours, etc). Good food in the neighborhood. Not as close to all the attractions but not that far either. If you have a car it’s a really good place to call home in San Juan, but the neighborhood itself isn’t as central to attractions as being in Old San Juan.

Google
We stayed here the night before our cruise and it was phenomenal. The staff were really nice and gave good recommendations for food and drink nearby. They also let us store our luggage there after we checked out because we couldn’t board the cruise until 4.

Yelp
We loved everything about the Dream Inn, the perfect getaway home base for our two weeks in Puerto Rico. A peaceful hangout (especially the roof deck), walkably close to the beach and to great restaurants, and most importantly, every single person serving at the hotel made us feel at home. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of service Gautam, Nimu, and especially Jorge put into researching the area to have recommendations always at the ready for us for excursions, restaurants, holiday hours, and even including all the hotel guests in ringing in the new year with their extended family from the rooftop, where we could see a myriad of fireworks displays all over San Juan. We loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat. (FYI we booked our room at the Dream Inn via AirBnB; it looks like some of their rooms are listed there by the owners of the boutique hotel, and others are available directly through their website.)

Yelp
Our family really enjoyed our stay here! Lovely little hotel in a great neighborhood. So many things nearby that are walking distance and centrally located to anything you need to drive to. Very clean hotel and friendly at the front desk. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this part of the island.

Yelp
I am so sad to be writing this review because it means I've left this hotel. This was my first solo adventure in a new place and I had extensively researched Dream Inn before I booked, so I knew I would love it. They have an amazing and coveted 5-star-rating on TripAdvisor, and I chose them based on a variety of factors including cleanliness reviews, safe and secure location easily accessible by Uber and close to the airport and convenient to areas I'd be traversing the most, their website says they have a generator and water cistern just in case any funny business outages occur in the city, and overall AWESOME VIBES. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Jorge was the main front desk person on deck during my 4-night stay and he was super cool, friendly, and SO helpful. The hot water heater is apparently solar-powered? I had no reason to be nervous though; I took a shower every night and the water was HOT, plentiful, great pressure, and didn't even start to get cool while I was in there (and I'm known for my longer showers). The entire atmosphere of the hotel is so zen and peaceful. The room doors do need to be "jammed" (?) shut, so you can hear when others are forcefully closing their doors, but this didn't bother me much. Every time I went up to the rooftop patio to eat a meal, or relax in a hammock, it was empty and perfect for alone time. At some points I wondered if I was the only guest at the time, it was so rare that I saw anyone else. I was in the Sunlit Room on the 3rd floor, which is the perfect size, and whoever was here before me had the TV channel set to Boomerang. I didn't even THINK I'd be watching TV while I was here, but every night I fell asleep to Tom and Jerry. The rooms do NOT have personal microwaves, but there's one downstairs in the bright and airy lobby, and I loved perching on one of the stools down there to have some lunch or wait for my Uber to arrive. Also, the minibar prices for water and soft drinks are probably CHEAPER than the local Walgreens I NEVER went to anyway, so there's no reason not to utilize them. I truly loved coming back to this home-away-from-home at the end of my day, and the quant, quiet, cozy feel of it all. If I ever stay in the San Juan area again, Dream Inn is my #1 choice.

Yelp
a nice budget hotel in PR, walkable to the beach and about a 10 min drive from SJU airport. it's nothing fancy, but the staff is super kind and knowledgable about the area. they even have sunscreen and beach chairs in the lobby that guests can use for free.

Yelp
We spent two nights at the Dream Inn in San Juan before embarking on a Caribbean cruise at the end of January 2023 - and highly recommend it. Minu (?) and her staff were remarkably helpful, and attentive to our every need. Her dining recommendations were spot on, and some even offered discounts if you told them you were staying at Dream Inn. About 3 blocks to the beach, beautiful roof sunning area, and in case you forget anything, a 24-hour Walgreens within two blocks. We would recommend getting a room on the side away from the street, as there were several instances of folks having a good time at night, but it wasn't a deal-breaker, so we chose to embrace it. A full 5-star recommendation!

Yelp
What a gem this place is-- easily my favorite accommodation (hotel, AirBnB, anything!) ever. The service is so great, and I really wished I would have caught the name of the man at the front desk that helped us out so much, because he was SO kind and helpful. The location is central to just about everything and the front desk provided us with a list of recommended eateries and bars nearby. Free coffee and water downstairs. The rooms were clean, comfortable, but the star of the show was the rooftop. Great views of the water, the city, and even the mountains a bit. And all of this at a reasonable price!Whenever we return to San Juan, we will be staying at Dream Inn 100%.

Yelp
Location is perfect! Close to lots of good restaurants, a 10 minute drive from Old San Juan and a 5 minute walk from a great beach. They provide you beach towels, mats and coolers to head out to the beach. Besides the location, the rooftop was probably our favorite part of staying here. There are two hammocks and tables with a view of the city, it's a great place to bring back food and eat. The rooms are clean but not impressive beyond that. Definitely recommend if you're on a budget or solo traveling!

Yelp
I booked this place for a pre stay before my cruise. It was a recommended nice boutique place in the heart of San Juan. I attempted to get the room early but was not able to. They did keep the bags so that was a good deal. On arrival we had a quick check in. They offered us tea and showed us around the hotel. The place was very secure. It had a key to get into the front and key to get out. The lobby was really interesting and welcoming. The room was small and quaint. It had a TV and coffee maker. There was even wine if you wished to pay for it. The wine opener was not so good. I purchased my own wine and had to request an opener. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly. They recommended restaurants in the area and other locations. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Yelp
Very cute boutique hotel near SJU (about a 6-8 mins) Uber ride (approximately $8.00). Very cozy and personable room, stayed just one night. Staff is remarkable. Only con, the shower wasn't clean (opted to wait and not shower there). Restroom could use a little more light. Accommodations were suitable for our one night stay.

Yelp
The hotel reps were absolutely amazing and helpful! Jorge and Yani made us feel like family as if we have known them forever! Very helpful in making our trip unforgettable! Almost like they were our unofficial travel agent! We can not wait to return!

Yelp
It's a boutique hotel which means it's smaller then your larger chain run one's. So with that you lose a lot of the amenities you're probably used to. Gym, large pool, large rooms, etc. But because it's smaller it feels more homey and personalized which pleased us very well! The property itself is nice, well maintained, and cute. It's a very relaxing environment especially the rooftop which exceeded our expectations. There's no place to eat at the hotel but so many places located nearby the selection is endless. I'd recommend La Coffetera, and Lana's Arepas. Kasalta is also located nearby but the food did not impress us and the customer service was zero so I would skip that for the coffee shop which is located next to it. An Uber ride to Old San Juan will cost about $8 - $15 depending on what time you request one which isn't bad. The staff at the hotel were so nice and friendly and that was all of them we encountered with. I left off one star just due to the room not seeming to cool properly even with the A/C working right. It seemed like one side of the room was always noticeably hotter and that was the side with the bed. Speaking of the bed it was comfortable and we slept very well on it. I'm not sure how big the rest of the rooms are but the room we were in was fine for 2 adults but definitely not any more so if you have kids I'd research some more. Next time we're in San Juan we would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I highly recommend Dream Inn, especially if you want a hotel that's a little off the beaten path with a little bit of local vibe. Jorge was excellent and made sure I had everything I needed for my weekend stay. He always took the time to answer questions I had about the best places to eat and hang out. Also make sure to take advantage of the free beach chairs, beach mats, towels, etc. The room was excellent, especially considering the price. I will definitely be back here.

Yelp
Happy that I read the reviews and booked here! This hotel is person is beautiful! The hotel was clean and secure! Only 15 minutes away from the airport. The lobby is very inviting and neatly decorated. There's a small body of water with coil fish. There's a small pool and rooftop deck with amazing views. The room was small, but had everything we needed - cable, shampoo, shower gel! The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel offers discounts at some of the local eatery's.

Yelp
My husband and I were here the first week of November and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Everything was clean and relaxing. They had a very cute pool area behind the building and their rooftop with hammocks had an amazing view. The moment that you arrive they greet you and give you places to eat around the area. What I loved most about this hotel was how they still use keys to open the rooms and not a key fob or key card. Our room was the perfect size for us and they had a bottle of wine and cute Hubby & Wifey pillow cases on our bed to celebrate our marriage. (Picture attached) The location of the hotel is 2/3 blocks away from the beach where it doesn't get crowded and you can easily walk down the beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be coming back!

Yelp
Not much parking but street parking is available. Nice small hotel with a great staff and comfy comfy rooms. The pool is gorgeous and it's walking distance to a few restaurants that also offer discounts to guests of the Dream Inn. I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place that isn't in the tourist area. No street noise so I slept well, the WiFi was also good.

Yelp
I stayed at the Dream Inn for a week in June and would definitely stay there again! I was traveling alone and the staff makes you feel at home and gives you tons of advice (if solicited) for where to go in San Juan. Joey was the best! My room was small, but perfect for me. I paid extra for a balcony and I liked being able to watch the neighborhood activity at night and having a good spot to quickly dry my swimsuit and beach towels. The water in my shower never got warm no matter how long I waited for the solar heaters to kick in, but I never complained bc it was HOT outside so a brisk shower was no problem for me. The pool is small, but a nice spot to cool off and relax and the rooftop patio had an hammock that I ended most nights in, just listening to the ocean. The neighborhood felt safe, though I didn't venture too far on my own at night. The beach is a VERY short distance away--maybe a block or two? And my favorite restaurant from my visit to San Juan, Pirillo is right across the street. I ate there three times and everything I had (including my sangria with almonds and sesame seeds!) was incredible! There is also a tasty Mexican place across the street (with the best churros and sweetest staff ever), a great all-day bakery, Kasalta that become my go-to for breakfast and sandwiches on the go for the beach, and a Walgreens where I picked up snacks and sunscreen. The hotel is about a 15 minute uber ride (around $6) from Old San Juan and I appreciated that it was not in a touristy area and away from the major traffic that I saw in the Condado. I would definitely stay at the Dream Inn on my next trip to San Juan. It felt like home!

Yelp
Tiny guest house, 13 rooms built on a tiny lot. Amazing use of space. Rooftop deck has the best view of local fireworks I have ever seen. Wish I could post video. Landed here because an old favorite couldn't host us for new year. Happy accident. Would book any holiday where fireworks are involved. Isn't that pretty much any holiday in PR?

Yelp
If your travel agent wants to book you at some moderately-rated major chain resort hotel in San Juan, ignore them. Sure, there may be the occasional advantage to staying in some of the big corporate hotels here or there, but the reality is none of them can offer you the personal service, charm and even budding friendship Dream Inn PR will, and my goodness does this place win you over. Nimu and her family will absolutely meet and exceed your expectations. This is a quality place to stay. Nimu, her son, Gautam, and staff members Joey and Bianca run Dream Inn PR with such exceptional care that you literally have nothing to worry about. They are a wealth of knowledge about San Juan, Old San Juan, and pretty much any place nearby. First timers visiting San Juan can rest assured that advice and insight flows freely from each of the staff. We were made to feel welcome immediately, and after four nights of staying here we feel like we now have extended family here, ready with arms open to embrace us. I truly enjoyed the conversations I had with Bianca and Joey the most -- two of the most charismatic and personable friends you could ever ask to meet. I was so, so impressed with each of them. Amenities and needs are met with everything from clean and fresh beach towels, beach mats, sunscreens, umbrellas, after sun care, cold and hot tea and water, vouchers for breakfast every morning at nearby Kasalta, and coupons for discounts and freebies at nearby restaurants; all are complimentary and made available generously. The cleaning staff ensure your room is neat, tidy, and clean, refreshed for you after a long day at play elsewhere. I was touched and delighted upon return from a daylong trek in Old San Juan to find a birthday spread on our bed with a bottle of wine with glasses and corkscrew plus festive decorations to welcome us back. It is this loving attention paid to guests that separates a masterful small hotel from its big-name brethren. Dream Inn evokes a tranquil, relaxed, very zen-like design; the rooftop deck has hammocks for relaxing along with beautiful views of the surrounding area. A small pool, koi pond, and intimate lobby all tie together the lower level, while spacious, non-cramped rooms with comfortable beds occupy the second and third floors in between. Dream Inn PR delivers on all fronts. To stay anywhere else is to shortchange yourself -- you deserve this kind of treatment, atmosphere, charm, and service. There's no hesitation in recommending Dream Inn PR; it's a must-experience stay.

Yelp
Proposed to my gf on the rooftop of this beautiful hotel during our weeklong stay in San Juan (she said yes after some initial shock). She'd kill me if I didn't at least leave a 5-star rating! But for serious, if you want to get to know Puerto Rico, this is the place to stay. Beautiful rooms, great views, and the neighborhood and dining choices are superb--truly reflects local flavor. Goes without saying that the wonderful staff goes way above and beyond to accommodate you. Parking was a bit of a concern for me, but we did not have trouble. On Friday night when they were more booked, we had to park down the street and it was just fine. Cannot speak enough about our memorable trip of a lifetime and it would not have been possible without the kind people at Dream Inn.

Yelp
Wow such a cool place and close to the beach and coffee and restaurants etc. But best of all were the people who worked there and who owned it. Jorge greeted us when we arrived late one night and welcomed us with a big smile and offered us ice water. He was dressed very sharply and quite professional. He discussed everything about the hotel and where to go to eat and how to get to the beach. The owners had beach mats and towels available and were very kind and accommodating as well. They also have a lovely small pool in the back of the hotel. The next morning we met Carolina at the front desk and she was so sweet and helpful. She gave us tips on dining and laundry. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Airconditioning worked very well. There is also a relaxing roof top patio with hammocks and chairs to relax in. I would recommend The Dream Inn to everyone visiting San Juan!

Yelp
The best place I have ever stayed! We stayed for 4 nights and never had any issues. The hotel is super clean. The small outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing. The rooftop deck has such beautiful views, and really comfy hammocks. The vibe of this place is so chill. The people at the front desk are SUPER helpful and thorough with any questions. The don't have breakfast but they do have tea and coffee in the lobby and with the room key you get great discounts at a few nearby restaurants. The location is really nice because its close to the beach, while also on a relatively quiet street. There are great restaurants, a 24/7 Walgreens, McDonalds, and a 99 cents store all within walking distance. From now on this is the only place I want to stay when visiting Puerto Rico. Aquí en el Dream Inn lo pasamos muy chevere. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, que ofrece mucho. Super limpio y los empleados son todos muy amables. De verdad que nuestra estancia fue un sueño. Gracias a todos!

Yelp
I had an amazing time at Dream Inn. Nimu and Gautum were incredible hosts. Gautum took the time to chat about the building and how their family created this architectural gem. It's a wonderful story if you get a chance to hear it. This is a great location if you're just arriving Puerto Rico. I would recommend two nights min! - Tamarindo margaritas to go at La B de Burro - Beach time at Ocean Park - Sunset dinner at Pamela's - Breakfast at Kasalta - Bike in Old San Juan (San Juan Bike Rentals) - Momfungo at Punto de Vista Restaurant - Beer, Wine, and Cocktails at La Factoria - Beach Time again at Ocean Park - Dinner at Pirilo Pizza Rustica (make reservations!)

Yelp
What an incredible and comfortable stay at the Dream Inn! My boyfriend and I were greeted by the nicest staff members who helped us find local eats, non-touristy beaches, and unique excursions. Carolina was so kind and even made us a fresh cup of coffee right on arrival and told us about the DELICIOUS restaurant "La Casita Blanca". The property is clean and well-maintained and felt very upscale for it's reasonable price. The rooftop had a beautiful view of San Juan and plenty of space for relaxing in the hammocks with a glass of wine. The Dream Inn offers a continental breakfast for $6 at Kasalta bakery where we ate local foods like Mallorca bread every morning (such a perfect option). The location was just what we wanted. The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes away and the hotel provided chairs, towels, sunscreen, and more. This area is a bit windy, so be ready to set up and watch the wind surfers and big waves. We spent most of our beach days hopping around and exploring the island's numerous options, like Luquillo. The staff was helpful in providing recommendations based on what we were looking for. Additionally, the area is safe and the hotel is very secure. Parking is right out front and there are plenty of extra spaces on neighboring streets. This boutique hotel was PERFECT! I could not have been happier with our experience. In terms of recommendations, here is my advice and MUST-do's!! -Lunch at "La Casita Blanca" (daily menu written on a chalkboard) -Kayaking in the Bioluminescent Bay -Explore Luqillo beaches and eat at the kiosks -Eat lots of Mofongo!! (Our favorite was at Bebo's Cafe, very local) -Rent a car and explore El Yunque, hike for swimming in freshwater -Walk around Old San Juan

Yelp
This is a very Special Place for me and my Boyfriend we used to come to this hotel every anniversary and the staff is always greeting us with their smiles and amazing hospitality. We stayed there during our 2 year anniversary and we had a blast so much amazing things to explore. From The continental breakfast at Kasalta to the amazing Pizza at Pirilos and the amazing bear at La B de Burro made our stayed the most upbeat and relaxing of all the vacations I had in this life and the other. The most amazing thing happened; my boyfriend said we had to go to the rooftop of the Hotel and there he was near the most beautiful and humble Statue I have ever seen and with all my respect it was very breath taking for the View that we had and the calmness that we received. If you are looking for the next Vacation and Peace of mind this is the Hotel to be. I wish I could Go back but I know I will when the 3rd Anniversary come. Till this day my hear and my memories will be happy because of my stayed. Jonas & David

Yelp
A very nice bed and breakfast type stay in Condado area. Room- small but cozy and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. It has a mini fridge, direct TV, and WIFI. There is a small balcony and the rooftop is available for all guests. The rooftop has a nice breeze, very relaxing place to just chill in the hammock, chat with friends, exercise. It's a great spot for quiet time like yoga/meditation/praying/reading. Location- excellent, close to many nice restaurants Parking is free Free breakfast at a nearby bakery named Kasalta which is a top rated bakery/cafe. Nimu, the owner was very helpful in giving us some local tips. A very relaxing foyer/reception area with water fountain- free ice tea, water, hot drinks. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in San Juan, Puerto Rico,

Yelp
If i could give 10 them 10 stars I would!!! DREAM INN was very accomodating when we arrived, they even offered if we want coffee or water and knowing they're only few blocks away from the beach is just amazing!! They also few steps away from this Famous Bakery/Restaurant in Puerto Rico which is Kasalta! They also have pretty neighborhood area. I HIGHLY recommend Dream Inn if you planning to visit in PR, you won't be dissappointed.

Yelp
My husband and I were happy to have made it out of Orlando with a smooth flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico last night, ahead of hurricane Irma. We were one of only a couple flights that landed yesterday. The power was out over most of the island, and it was very quiet (except for generators humming in every direction) but things seemed to be fairly normal. Cab drivers were eagerly waiting at curbside for passengers when we left baggage claim. In spite of just weathering a hurricane pass the day before, our hotel, the Dream Inn PR, was more concerned with our happiness than being without power. They had a generator running and showed us to our room, where we saw this. It was so lovely it brought tears to my eyes. This is our second visit to the Inn, and it will remain a special place, thanks to the owners Nimu and her son Gautam. Thank you for making our crazy honeymoon better!

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this cozy, awesome little place. We got back from our cruise hours before check in time and they told us to come on over and they would keep our luggage safe while we did some things around town, waiting for our room to be ready. They also offered us use of the pool and beach while we waited. This is a small place, but don't let that fool you - it is beyond charming. The waiting area is lovely, with a fish pond, comfy furniture and an area with coffee. Beyond the check-in desk is where the pool is. Very clean with lounge chairs all around. There is a bathroom at the side of the pool area, which is convenient. The beach is a short walk away and they offer towels, etc., for guest use. When we checked in, the young man at the desk was so nice and friendly. He gave us a list of restaurants in the area (it actually listed them by what was to the left of the building or to the right LOL so cute!) and some of them gave a discount if we showed our Dream Inn key. He suggested one of the places for lunch and he was not wrong. Our lunch was out of this world! (La B de Burro) We were also given a coupon for a free breakfast the next morning at Kasalta. I can't remember the name of the place we had dinner, but it was on the list and also excellent. The elevator is very slow, which amused us. The young man at the front desk took the stairs, while we took the elevator with our luggage, and beat us there. LOL It was only a couple of floors and we were on vacation, so no big deal. It fit in with the relaxed vibe. When we got to the room, I was not surprised to find it as clean as the rest of the hotel. My general pet peeve is usually hotel bathrooms, but not this time - Dream Inn's bathroom was spotless!!! It is the cleanest hotel bathroom I have ever seen. And I like that they use solar energy to heat the water. Very efficient. Honestly, you could have eaten off that bathroom floor, that's how clean it was. The room was very cozy, nice comfortable bed. I slept like a rock. The next morning after we checked out, (a very nice lady at the desk this time) they once again offered to keep our bags until we were ready to head to the airport (our flight was early evening) so we could shop, sight see, etc. That was really helpful. Great accommodations, great staff, clean, clean, clean, great location. I would not hesitate to stay there in the future, and I do plan to. We did not get around to going up to the roof, where I understand there is a nice patio, but we will next time.

Yelp
Best hotel staff that I have EVER come across. They will help you in any way that they can. They give you vouchers for free food at the famous bakery down the street. They give you a list of great local restaurants where you can get a discount just for being a guest at the hotel. They have free beach towels, chairs, sun block, tea, coffee, and books. The roof top hang out area is amazing. This place is a certified gem!

Yelp
AMAZING! The staff is so sweet and friendly. The rooms are clean and always ready to go for you the next day. This place is very close to all of the most convenient locations in Puerto Rico. I would recommend this place over any other suite in Puerto Rico! They are THE BEST and will absolutely provide you the best service.

Great location, cozy and comfortable, great amenities and the owners/staff are so accommodating. I'm really glad I didn't book a hotel in the super congested part of San Juan. I love the architecture of the building too--very zen, hip and modern. Their facilities are kept very clean and up to date. We've stayed for 2 nights so far. Every morning they have coffee made in the lobby, and they have vouchers for free breakfast at one of the most famous bakeries in Puerto Rico, Kasalta, right across the street! Walgreens is a block away, and there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. If I have the chance to come back to Puerto Rico again I'll definitely be coming back to this place!!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I searched for weeks for a place to stay in Puerto Rico, we discovered that every big chain hotel CHARGES for PARKING, 15 to 25 DOLLARS PER DAY. During our search Dream Inn always came up because of its Red Facade and after having discarded the possibility of choosing this hotel, we found that excellent things do come in small packages. Dream Inn is a one of a kind place, the hotel has just the right things needed for a perfect vacation. The design of this eco-friendly hotel, offers a small but intimate pool. The lobby has a fountain filled with Koi fish and the rooms are very well maintained. Safety at Dream Inn is a number one priority for the staff. The rooms at the front of the hotel offer a balcony making the rooms in the rear a bit larger. All the rooms come equipped with a small fridge, cool air, cable TV and wi-fi. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispensers and a body sponge. Dream inn offers all guest complementary breakfast at Kasalta the local bakery/restaurant located one block away, Incredible place! I left the best for last, THE STAFF. Nimu owner/manager, her son Gautam co-manager and Shana the receptionist, they would do everything possible to ensure that your stay at Dream Inn is pleasant and relaxing. Gautam is a young man that has incredible knowledge of the island. Gautam knows a vast majority of the places to see and eat, from a small diving hole next to a river in the mountains to a great Kiosko in Luquillo Beach to a well known local restaurant named Salitre Meson Costero. Thanks a million, my friend and brother. Shana, is very helpful and everything she does for you is done with a smile, thanks. Nimu, what can i say about this AWESOME lady, the morning we arrived she treated us with such respect and kindness, the time we spent in the lobby of your hotel just talikng will remain in our hearts for ever, you showed us a side of humanity the we rarely see any more. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did for us, we spent 10 days in this wonderful place but the frienships we made will last for a life time. TO ANY ONE WHO READS THIS, choose this place not only because it has plenty of places to eat around it, a beautiful beach 3 blocks away, Walgreens 1 block away, KFC, Chinese food, Starbucks, a Supermax supermarket, within walking distance, access to the Highway just 5 blocks from the hotel, a 10 minute drive from the Airport, 10 minutes to Old San Juan, free breakfast and FREE PARKING! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! 2016 HERE WE COME!

Yelp
Too bad I can't give this place 10 stars. That's how good it is. Amazing staff. Nice, NICE, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Spacious too. Quiet (we had a room that's not facing the street), good night sleep guaranteed. You don't have to worry about beach towels and/or chairs/sunscreen/etc 'cause you're going to get all of them. Mini fridge in a room! I really like the fact that they actually use solar panels for hot water and that they won't change your sheets or towels unless you say they need to be changed, yay for this eco friendly place! Free WiFi (: Cable TV. You even get discounts in few restaurants nearby if you're staying at Dream Inn. Not to mention that the Ocean Park Beach is literally 3 minutes away. Seriously, everything was amazing. Everything! I know where we gonna stay when we return to PR!

Yelp
A little belated, but we just have to RAVE about this gorgeous inn. My bf and I stayed at the inn on our last night in PR (only because we were travelling throughout the entire island during our weeklong visit), and we have to say that was the cherry on top of our vacation. Nimu and Gautam are awesome! We also loved the eco-consious aspect of the hot water being powered by solar energy! If you ever visit San Juan, you have to stay here! You can even get a coupon for Barrachina, the restaurant that created the piña colada. So many good things about this place, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to stay here on our next trip to PR!

Yelp
Amazing looking place! Went to go stay when they first opened doors and they were so helpful with everything. Its arquitecture is out of this world and its incredibly gorgeous. We got a complimentsry breakfast from the bakery nearby called: Kasalta. Our stay was more than pleasant they never hesitated to help us in any way every place you can think of is either walking distance or less than 10 mins away even from the famous Old City. Its less than a 2 minute walk from the beach and a bus station. I'm so happy i got to stay here i wouldn't think about it twice to stay again. I would recommend this Inn to anybody who would even ask me a place to stay.

Yelp
Dream inn is the "dream" inn. If you want to experience the local culture this is the place for you. The staff are very hospitable. We felt at home. Nimi and Gauthem (her son) are very caring and provide the best service you can find anywhere. They provide you with information about the places to eat and go to. They have instruction about attractions inside and around San Juan. The breakfast is from a restaurant close by with variety of options. We couldn't wish for a better stay. They also provided beach chair, sun screen, and off. The ambience and architecture of this place is very unique too.

Yelp
Dream Inn has make the great recovery from Hurricane Marie and has it all. The architure and interior decorating is unique. You won't forget it. Check this review again, I have good pictures I'm going to post. It's most secure so you certainly feel safe. The full roof is all beautiful patio. Cool swimming pool. They will make good coffee at anytime. I've know a handful of people who have stayed there for a few days and for a few months. I've been here and around here for five months now. The people I know and other reviews mention how Nemu the manager is the nicest. And all the other people working there. I've worked with people staying here and I hear them telling others about how much they love it and showing pictures of the building and rooms. Walk across the street to the famous Kasalta Bakery, known for the bread and they have a great menu. It's by other good resturants, Walgreens, etc. Three blocks from Barbosa Park, a big park with a lot more than I expected from a community park including a a running track, used for walking, fields for soccer, etc. Across the street the full length of the park and beyond is all Atlantic Ocean beach. People swimming. Yes, you can get to anywhere on the island from there.

Yelp
Last minute my sister and I needed a place to stay in PR and we came across this place. It is so cute and has amazing staff. Our concierge Jorge was so accommodating and really welcomed us, he gave us a run down of the area and offered great local advice. Jorge is truly a gem, I would return solely based on his incredible customer service. The property has a great pool and nice amenities like umbrellas, SPF, coffee, tea, soft drinks and some alcohol. It is walking distance to local restaurants and the beach.

Yelp
This family run adorable hotel is a true find. It's located in Ocean Park, just 2 or 3 blocks from one of the best beaches in the world. The architecture is marvelous- the photos just barely capture how cute it really is. The pool, basically a cold-plunge pool great after a day of sunburning, is cute & gorgeous. Everything you need is within walking distance, and cab service is very easy to get. My ONLY reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the beds- they are a bit too hard for my taste (sort of like sleeping on a slab of cement), and the linens really should be cotton. I didn't really 'dream' at the Dream Inn, but I did very much enjoy my stay.

Yelp
Should've written this sooner...my BF and I stayed here for almost week in April. We were treated like family (actually, my family isn't this nice! lol) Very clean, comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking a couple of delicious restaurants (best pina coladas!!). The hotel has a lovely little pool, perfect for cooling off before heading out for the evening. Nimu (the owner) and her son gave us lots of recommendations for things to do, and she even booked a rooftop massage for us. On my birthday she had roses, a decorative pillow and a bottle of wine waiting on a bed tray...my BF asked her to help him do something sweet and she came through! The beach is a short (under 5 minute) walk through a safe neighborhood, and the breakfast coupons for Kasalta bakery was a nice touch. There's a nice area of restaurants and shops that are rebuilding after Katrina. Anything we needed...it was supplied. Super quiet building with a cool vibe...love the koi fish in the open air lobby! I highly recommend this hotel over any cookie cutter, chain hotel...plus you're helping out the locals. Such wonderful people!

Yelp
If you're in ocean park do yourself a favor and book your stay at Dream Inn. We were amazed how incredibly sweet and accommodating Nimu and her family were. We went during the power outage and luckily they had a generator going. Even after we checked out they allowed us to hangout on the roof till it was time for our flight. Easily one of the best experiences at a hotel, the staff was ridiculously sweet. If you have a problem with this place, there might be something seriously wrong with you. 5 stars across the board.

Yelp
Here is the review I wrote from another site: Close to the beauty of Old San Juan and the high rises of Condado lies Santurce and Ocean Park-- a quieter, hipper, up-and-coming area of San Juan. Dream Inn is a small paradise of a boutique hotel in this neighborhood. Owned and operated by an attentive and kind family who practice the art of hospitality everyday, this place is truly a gem. The property has been renovated and is a beautiful example of modern architecture. The rooms are clean, well decorated and with very comfortable beds and showers (the rooms are small, but you won't notice). And you are directly across the street from Kasalta bakery where you can eat every morning (you get b'fast vouchers with your stay). And there is a lovely pool for a quick dip after a long day exploring PR. I cannot say enough good things about the hotel, but what really makes it is the service. I look forward to returning to the island and staying at Dream Inn again. It lives up to its name. I would add that Nimu (the owner) and her son Gautham helped make my trip to PR wonderful. They not only assisted with getting a (cheaper) car and giving me maps and helpful hints/directions each day, they made me feel warm and welcomed to their little paradise inn. I truly appreciate their genuine desire to make my vacation a wonderful experience. Go go go to Dream Inn!

Yelp
We loved this place...#AMAZINGNEIGHBORHOOD... local merchants that support one another. The beach is in your backyard. Nimu, the proprietor of the establishment is an awesome hostess. Her son & herself freely guide you to the nearby eateries, clubs & hangout spots in Condado. The main lobby has a coy fish pond which is therapeutic. There is a pool on the premises. The rooms are daily cleaned, the shower is great... she also leaves fresh fruit out daily...we will definitely recommend....

Yelp
Unbelievably hospitable!! Nimu and her team are super helpful and have lots of suggestions depending on what you want to do. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and eco-friendly. The inn is a block away from the beach and steps away from several awesome restaurants. I cannot say enough nice things about Dream Inn! I would strongly recommend you ditch the big hotels and their antiseptic feel and stay where you can have authentic experiences. Very, very convenient (10 minutes from old San Juan), I had a wonderful trip and can't imagine coming to PR and staying anywhere else! Thank you!!

Yelp
I can't begin to describe the friendliness and hospitality that we received from the owner, Nimu, upon arrival and throughout our stay here. The location was extremely convenient to nearby stores, restaurants, and the beach to which Nimu gave us recommendations on. None of the recommendations disappointed. Our room was clean and comfortable with cable television and Wi-Fi readily available. I admired the overall ambiance, architecture, and zen style of the guest house. As crazy as it seems, I loved that there were four or five parking spots reserved for guests; it's first come-first served but way better than paying $10+ a day like a lot of the hotels around PR do. Needless to say although we weren't here for long, I've already made up my mind that there isn't any place I'll stay other than Dream Inn whenever I'm in San Juan.
