This is the first time I write such a long review. In short, AVOID this hotel. If you are literally an enthusiastic fan of Hyatt Brand Explorer, this place is NOT worthwhile for a long stay.
Initially, I thought Dream Hotel could give a sweet dream experience, but what I had is a feeling of bizarre dreamcore. This weird dream started when we arrived at the hotel. The reception was understaffed and not well-trained. Only one lady was there, answering the phone call. After several minutes of struggling, someone finally came for help, so I could finally start my check-in process. She was sweet, but was probably overwhelmed by the work. It took a while to pull up my reservation, and almost forgot to return my driving license.
When we have the room keys, it again took plenty of time to locate the room. I never expected to get to my room by taking a drastically shaking elevator in a noisy restaurant, but for here, it is the reality. I even lost my way when I stepped out the elevator.
What's more, I cannot say there's no room amenity and hotel facility, but the condition was really poor. Nothing can be seen from the pool at the top of the building because the sea view is blocked by the building itself. I stayed at a Bronze King room, in which a restroom and a fully transparent shower room are along the less-than-3-meter aisle. Behind the screen of the aisle was a king bed, and almost only a king bed. In such a small room, the light was dim, and noise insulation was so weak that you could clearly hear the TV sound from the other room. No wonder why there were two pairs of ear plug!
If it is a hotel for only $50-$80, I would not complain. However, it's a Category 5 hotel under Hyatt, and the price when I reserved was $300+ with all fees or 20,000 Hyatt points! It makes no sense to me, as I could use fewer points to have a better, even luxury room in the nearby property!
