I love this hostel! I'm over 30 and have stayed in my fair share of backpacker hostels.. Dreamcatcher is super low key, respectful guests, quiet at quiet time.. yet I was still able to make friends with some of my bunk mates and go on a hike together. Walkable to downtown and the urban trail. 10/10 no notes!

We had a private room which had a bunk bed and its own bathroom. The room and especially the floors were very clean (due to the no shoe policy). There might be noise if you have loud neighbors next to your room. The staff was very friendly and there is a shared kitchen and common area on the ground floor (including big fridges for food etc.). Parking was never an issue, loads of space available. There are also a couple of restaurants nearby which are within walking distance.

Spacious hostel - lively & vibrant living space, the dorms were clean & well maintained. The kitchen was HUGE ! Loved cooking there. Plenty of utensils to use. Everything was very organized. Felt like home. The bathrooms were sparking clean and spacious too ! We stayed here for two nights to visit Yoho National park . This is a great place to rest for a couple of nights if you are coming to Banff / Yoho National park from the west (Vancouver)

Amazing place great atmosphere. I stopped here Bike packing across Canada and It was the perfect place to catch some sleep. There is a great kitchen area, which I was able to cook my food from the grocery store just one block away. In the morning Ann was super helpful letting me keep my bike inside an area and then waking up at 4 AM so I can get an early start on the day. Amazing experience.

Amazing clean and hip hostel. The bunk beds were awesome, comfortable and the private bathroom in our suite was clean. The people here are friendly and asked us to join them to watch the northern lights. We extended our stay to two nights. The price point is also really good between 110-130 CAD per night. There is a nice kitchen, comfortable sofas and common spaces for eating food and chilling out. Coffee and other amenities were included. We will definitely be visiting the hostel back in golden!

We were a group of 22 people visiting from BC, and our stay at this hostel was absolutely amazing! The place was clean, spacious, and worked really well for a large group like ours. It’s in a great location — close to the Golden Skybridge and other popular spots. Just a heads-up: since it’s a hostel, you should expect to share the space with other groups too. That said, it was a fun, social atmosphere and we’d highly recommend it!

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. All the front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. All 3 washrooms in the first floor were clean during my 4 night stay. Located in the main part of town with plenty of parking and many restaurants around. There’s a nice size kitchen and good storage space available for your food items. Had good WiFi throughout my stay. If you want to check out Golden or do the one hour trip to Lake Louise, this is your budget friendly option. This place is so much cheaper and cleaner than staying at Banff area hostels. Highly recommend!!
