We had a wonderful time. The rooms are so unique. Everything was comfortable, from the bed to the couches in the common room. The front covered porch was so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Sherry was a wonderful host. She was very accommodating. We can only recommend.

Google
Absolutely Beautiful and Elegant! Our stay was nothing short of magical! The rooms were stunning—elegant, cozy, and full of charm. Each morning started perfectly with an amazing breakfast prepared by a personal chef—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The entire experience felt so special. Huge shoutout to the management team, especially Shelly, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. This place is a must-visit!

Love love loved my stay! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. My room was beautiful, downtown was a 2 minute drive and 8-10 minute walk. I have no complaints; will definitely be back!

Google
Our stay was 10/10. The design, decor, and location was fabulous. Sherry was so kind and made a phenomenal breakfast for guests. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently stayed here and loved every moment. The place has such a cozy and artistic atmosphere. The location was perfect. It was close to downtown but still quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and shops. My favorite feature was the selection of four amazing local tea blends available in the common area. It was such a thoughtful touch, and I loved winding down each evening with a hot cup. The breakfast food was also DELICIOUS! The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure we felt right at home.

Lovely bed and breakfast in a historic home. Even if you aren't vegan (I'm not) I enjoyed breakfast each morning. Smelled like a relaxing yoga studio (incense, not sweaty) as soon as I walked in. A couple blocks away from the riverfront.

Google
Really cool historic mansion within walking distance of waterfront restaurants and shops. We stayed in the 3rd floor and enjoyed the seclusion even though we had a variety of room choices. Rooms were comfy and the morning coffee/ breakfast was great. Enjoyed our conversation with owners Ross and his wife who were very helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to those looking for a unique B&B experience.

Google
The perfect destination for 3 nights in Wilmington. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Oceania, she gave us a tour and showed us the ropes and we were so glad each morning to see her at breakfast. The breakfast really exceeded expectations, smoothies and homemade granola with several other made-to-order options. Our room was quaint and just what we needed, clean and perfect for two. The hotel is on a lovely residential street and a very short walk to downtown, less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Beautiful Inn! Hung out on the porch. The host, Ross was very kind in answering all our questions and guiding us to our rooms.

Yelp
I'll start by giving kudos to their photographer. They did a great job making this property look appealing on the website. After driving all day, we arrived at 4:30, about 30 minutes past our ETA but clearly after their 3:00 or later posted check-in time. Without going into detail, our first impressions could have been better. After a few text exchanges, we were instructed how to access our room. We crossed a short mulch path and climbed a set of dated stairs to our "dreamy suite." I must also acknowledge the writing team for using "dreamy" as a descriptor. This suite is for you if you like "dreamy" in a rustic and dated way (with a bug or two thrown in for ambiance). Exhausted from traveling, we were sent on a scavenger hunt for our parking pass. We climbed several times up and down the thin wooden stairs before finding our $25 coveted parking pass. This was challenging because the stairs were old and narrow, with no handrails. I felt unsafe on the stairs and worried about my dog's ability to traverse these old steps. After we each slipped during one of our many descents, I texted to ask about changing rooms. The response was that this was not possible. Given my safety concerns, I told one of the owners we would check out a day early (by text, we still had not seen anyone). Given the situation, I asked that we not be charged for the next night. He rejected my request and told me to refer to their policy. He told me that if he could re-book the vacated night at the same or higher rate, he would grant my refund request. Needless to say, he could not. I understand the need for a cancellation policy. I can also accept a hint of hyperbole when used to slightly embellish a property's appeal. However, Dreamers DW's strict adherence to policy and liberal use of hyperbole is a terrible combination. I'm sure there are better choices in Wilmington.

Yelp
What an amazing getaway. The decor was so perfectly done..So quaint and relaxing. The staff is helpful and kind. They are efficient and punctual. Oceana was a gem. The vegan meals were phenomenal! Breakfast was included in the lobby, but you can order dinner or brunch from the Chef (for an extra charge), and it is so worth it! It was quiet and I was so blessed to spend some Birthday time there. Highly recommended. If you have thought about it, just do it, you will not regret it. I took a little walk at the Wilmington Riverwalk, then hit Whole foods and Trader Joes. There are tons of vegan restaurants in the area.

Yelp
First time in Wilmington, excited to see the city...Dreamers is in a great location...I paid the 40.00 for private parking but will opt out of that in the future. The private parking is awkward and did not offer me any easy ingress onto the property...nevertheless, the property is beautiful! I love a hammock or two! The minimalist decor...the greenery through the yard...lovely! Thankfully the young staff members helped an old lady with her luggage. I never quite figured out the TV and the wi-fi was inconsistent but it's a great space to relax and enjoy the moment. The bathroom is large and roomy...the bathtub is peeling (not sure why they don't just handle that!). There was no luxury robe or fresh diffuser/oil for me to try...but I was just fine with my accommodations. Hearty meatless breakfast..coffee..tea..all available for you. If in Wilmington, I would return.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous B&B! We were here a while ago for an event & it prompted me to try them for an overnight stay for our Anniversary (20 yrs, yay!!!). I'm amazed at how clean this house is, it's a historic house in the historic district of Wilmington (just a couple blocks from the river) and usually older houses tend to not be as tidy --- this place is SO clean! Going up the stairs you can even see the baseboards & corners & windowsills have been cleaned/dusted regularly. The whole place is surprisingly clean! We stayed in the "Visionary" Room, which was delightful - 3rd floor windows look out over the houses nearby & it's so private as you're above everyone else! But of course there are shades & curtains, lol. The bathroom in this suite was why I chose it, as the shower/tub are like a whole 'room' and it was really cool. The tub was fabulous - true soaker tub with claw-feet. I will say it just barely fit the two of us (we are average height & athletically built) but I used it two additional times myself for a soak - it's awesome! Water gets NICE & HOT! Bed had a cushy gel foam pad on top of the mattress, so it was very comfortable. Rooms have robes, thick towels, extra blanket, Smart-TV, Google-Mini, Water Caraffe & Soap/Shampoo in the shower. Our room also had a diffuser & they have oils there you can request and/or buy to use in the diffuser. Since our lovely new home (we are Wilmington locals!) does not have a tub - this B&B will be my needing-a-tub-respite location (most rooms have a claw-foot soaker tub)! Climate in the house is great, around 70-ish. Cool when it's hot & not cold when it's cooler outside. We were very comfortable the entire visit. The Breakfast food is fantastic - it's Vegan, but don't worry if you're 'not vegan' - you'll still love it! The Sweet Potato Hash is delicious & they had coconut waffles on our visit. Also granola & fresh fruit along with house-made loose leaf teas & wonderful coffee. The B&B is run by a couple and they are lovely, they care about each & every guest! She is a chef and does catering, which explains why the food is so awesome!! We walked to dinner, which was great to walk around downtown, everything is within walking distance! We tried Savorez for dinner & dessert (OMG wonderful food, but tiny place, so you may need a res on a weekend if they take them). Then walked to the River-walk at sunset, GORGEOUS. Lots of great restaurants & neat stores (try the "Better Basket" on Front street - such a cool shop/mercantile!). If you can, get the $40 on-site parking as it will save you having to find a spot on the street (which I think still costs $25). The B&B has ONE spot (you can fit a larger van/truck/suburban) and its just behind the house off the alleyway. It made it nice to not worry about our vehicle for the whole stay since we walked everywhere.

Yelp
My main gripe is with this really odd check in experience. I arrived and nobody was there. This is a bed breakfast setup btw. Drove down from Richmond. About an hour before arriving I got a call from a Dreamers employee asking when I was getting there. I told them and arrived exactly when I told them I would. Went in and there is a room with an iPad (which was close to dead) that you sign in on. After signing in it says someone will be with you shortly. Waited a while and no one came or contacted me. Finally I called the number that had contacted me and got no answer. I texted the number. Another 20 minutes go by and finally I get a text describing how to get into room. The room was upstairs with the door open. Why don't you just describe this ridiculous procedure on the website? Then a little while later there was no power in my room. Texted the number again. Nothing. Texted again an hour later and the person says they will be there in 15 minutes to investigate. They finally got there and flipped a breaker and power was restored. Which was good as it was getting dark and I basically had to get ready to go out with no light. The bathroom had a big claw foot tub. With a shower and curtain. The tub was almost completely stopped up the drain was so slow. Tell me, would you stay here again?

Yelp
What an incredible experience on every level! This was so much fun and a great experience to get to know other fellow elites enjoying an amazing breakfast. I loved the décor, it gave a retro chic feel and was just the right amount of captivating and cuteness all in one. In the dining area there are a few tables that have great window seats, a beautiful large mirror, and in another room a nice big couch to sit on as well. Now for the best part...the vegan sweet potato hash. I am whole heartedly a carnivore and this complete vegan dish was outstanding!!! I left feeling so complete and felt that anything else with it would have ruined the dish. The sweet potatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes were filled with so much flavor I could have ate another plate. The cream that was on top, I believe the Chef stated it was an Alioli of some sort, I put it on both my bread and the rest of my entrée and it was amazing. Queen Esther was serving an iced Raspberry flavored tea and I was sold, I ended up buying myself a different flavor that helps with your immune system (I recomend it! It's delicious also!) This B&E is located in a beautiful spot in downtown Wilmington, walking distance from the waterfront, store shops and many other activities. Thank you everyone and thank you Dreamers Welcome!

Yelp
Wow. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay! We stayed in the room "romantic" and it was nothing short of adorable, spacious and welcoming! From the outside, you immediately think "I wish I lived here!" The owners of the B&B are kind and friendly.. sort of like old friends letting you stay at their house. Very accommodating and easy to talk to yet give you complete privacy as you need. The place is very well kept with a calming ambiance that I desperately needed coming from LA. I will definitely be staying in the future and recommending to friends. Ps. I loved the complimentary breakfast in their parlor!

Yelp
This is a distinctive and unusual place to stay in Wilmington. It's just a few blocks (maybe a 5-10 minute walk) from the riverfront and it's in a peaceful neighborhood of beautiful period homes. There are a few reserved spaces where you can pay a fee to park, or you can park for free on the nearest cross street. I never had a problem finding one of the free spaces and it was a very short walk to the house. The house itself if an immaculately renovated Victorian style from the late 1800s. There are only a handful of rooms and they are all different. I stayed in The Traveler, which is the smallest of the guestrooms but was still plenty big enough to be comfortable for a long weekend. The design style is an interesting mash-up of South Florida and mid-century modern. The room comes complete with a scent machine with essential oils that you can use to set your own smell environment. The bed was plenty comfortable and the room also had a comfy lounge chair. The bathroom has a freestanding tub-shower combo. My only small issue was that the tub was not quite close enough to the wall and when I turned the spigot on, water splashed onto the floor and I didn't notice until the tile was soaked. But it was an easy fix. The tall windows had views of the fully-mature landscaping and the neighboring gardens. It's a very peaceful environment. The lobby area has a living room with a curvaceous sofa and a tremendous cactus in the corner. Everything is in soft colors and minimalist style, but it has impact. It's a neat place to sit back and have a beer from their honor bar. The staff is always available but not intrusive. The included vegetarian breakfast is smallish, but the white chocolate-raspberry scone was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. I went in the summer and it wasn't exactly cheap, but it was definitely a more memorable stay than at the chain hotels that make up most of the lodging options in downtown Wilmington.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary (12) and had a great weekend. We checked in Saturday night and departed Sunday morning. Because we arrived after sunset, the house had a spooky Munsters feel to it, but it just made it all the more enjoyable. We were greeted at the door and checked in. Our host walked us up to the third floor where our room was located. The room was very unique and one of a kind. With the building being constructed in 1889, they've done some upgrades, but it still maintained it's character. We ordered breakfast the night before and enjoyed that on time in the morning. Excellent seasoning on the avocado toast. An easy walk down to the riverfront area and all of the shops. We walked through the neighborhood the next day too, to better see it all in the daylight. The bathroom had a rainfall shower which provided a lovely hot drenching. Bathtub was slow to drain, but that's my only issue with the entire stay. I'd definitely come back here again.

Yelp
This is such a gorgeous property that I've been dreaming of staying at for months! Dreamers Welcome -- even the name exudes all the luxuriously whimsical vibes fit for a diva. But as my grandmother ALWAYS told me, "everything that glitters ISN'T gold!" First, the property was located in the "pet friendly" section of the booking site, but allegedly it's NOT pet friendly. Only TWO rooms are pet friendly and of course, my room was not. I found this information out one week prior to my trip, after the refundable date. I emailed to confirm my TWO dogs were on my reservation -- one of which is a legally certified ADA service dog. I received an email stating, "Two of our rooms are dog-friendly, however neither of our dog-friendly rooms are available for your stay... I regret to say that we cannot host your emotional support animal.... We can make an exception for your service animal only". I emailed back TWICE, asking if my reservation could be modified due to the inconvenience and additional costs I'd incur boarding my second dog. When I didn't receive a reply, I called and left TWO voicemails. Neither were returned. 48 hours prior to my check-in date, Dreamers texted me the usual: "We look forward to your trip, text us if you have any questions", again I texted and explained the situation to see if I could modify my reservation for the inconvenience. No response. The day of travel was a severe storm, but they made sure to text every 2 hours to find my ETA. When it was longer than the staff was willing to wait, I received self check in instructions. The Visionary room is absolutely breathtaking, definitely photoshoot friendly! Check-in instructions were simple, parking was easy and everything was in walking distance. However, that beautiful waterfall shower? Make it quick, because THERE IS NO HOT WATER. Cold showers for 3 days, anyone? While adjusting a gorgeous palm tree light fixture in the room, I sliced my thumb and was bleeding horribly -- I texted asking for a first aid kit or band-aid. The response? You guessed it... NO RESPONSE. I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast during my stay, taking photos and videos for social media. However, after being charged $100... A HUNDRED DOLLARS, more than my total and requesting a final bill, I discovered THE BREAKFAST IS NOT COMPLIMENTARY. I was charged "an additional" breakfast item, however when I asked for documentation, it could NOT be provided. What other charges were on the final bill? BRING-A-PET! Yes! Even though they failed to return my emails / calls / texts and refused to stay for proper check in, they added a charge for my legally, certified ADA service dog that had all tags / vests on, at all times, when in public spaces! A $50 charge!!! This is 100% illegal and I could and should file charges against the owners. When I texted regarding this, I did receive a response: "A pet fee is charged for all animals." When I expressed how this is ILLEGAL and included how I emailed / called / texted to no avail, to ensure zero issues beforehand, and even when cutting myself, there was no response, I received this response: "We are not staffed at all hours and are rarely by the phone to answer as we are a small business. We understand you are upset and we may not be the establishment you are accustomed to and prefer. Hopefully when you visit Wilmington again, you will be able to find a place that suits your desires." I was told they would refund me for the "bring-a-pet" & "additional breakfast item", but I've yet to see this reflected on my statement. Small business or not, prices reflect your accommodations / services and set expectations for any traveler. $1,000 for THREE NIGHTS at a property listed as "pet friendly" and "luxury" with "champagne service" and "in-room massages", but actually provides a community mini-fridge of white claws that operates on an honor system and in room dangers with no first aid readily available seems lackadaisical and is completely unacceptable no matter what desires I'm accustomed to. Just a slap in the face to my expectations as if Embassy Suites isn't cheaper! If nothing else, customer service should've and could've been top notch, but I was essentially told that I'm one dreamer who ISN'T welcome back. Don't worry Dreamers, in your dreams.

Yelp
Wonderful extraordinary hotel. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Our room was very clean, big, and uniquely designed. We love the rain-shower and dream of having one just like that (large enough to fit both a shower bench and a bathtub!). Very modern feel. Don't have to worry about losing your key because of keypads for each room. Also has certain rooms that are pet friendly. Delicious avocado toast and other selections for complimentary breakfast. We loved our stay here. While expensive for the holidays, worth every penny. Great location too and easy to find parking outside. Professional and very accommodating staff. They texted me each morning to see what I might need (room service, towels, etc).

Yelp
Dreamers Welcome offers the best BnB I have had the pleasure of seeing in Wilmington or anywhere else. Really well decorated spaces, warm, inviting lighting throughout the common areas and guest rooms, and more many thoughtful touches than the word count limit here permits. The room itself (mine was "Run of the House 2") was spacious and VERY comfortable. The bed... slept like a supportive hug all night. The bathroom and soaking tub are themselves worth returning for. And, don't forget to get your breakfast order in by 10pm for the next morning. The Sous Chef Tasha has enormous and uncommon culinary skills. The hosts are hospitality pros. Excellent communication, seamless administration, and lovely people to interact with. A+ all around.

Yelp
Loved the aesthetic of my stay. Loved the combination of old and new. Bed was comfortable. Only thing I'd change would be more throw pillows on the sofa for a more comfortable sitting experience

Yelp
Buckle up kids. It's gonna be a long one! My husband and I booked Dreamers Welcome for a quick 24 hour, phone free, unwind, relax, staycation. We live 20 blocks away! Dreamers Welcome was PERFECT. We were greeted by Ross who showed us the lay of the land. We booked The Romantic and it was just that. Beautifully decorated, spacious, there was a very large pitcher of sangria and a generous veggie plate waiting for us. There are instructions for EVERYTHING which I love. We spent the day napping, reading, & enjoying the clawfoot bathtub. It was divine. The complimentary breakfast was size-able and their coffee was excellent. I loved that I could have it delivered to my room at a specific time and that I just had to fill out a form the previous evening. No waking up to call for room service. The bathroom is MASSIVE. there were tons of amenities that we didn't use because there just wasn't time. But we will be back! Two things to note, not as a complaint on my part but things to keep in mind - the house smells strongly of incense, I always note smells because my mother is incredibly sensitive and I like to know where she may or may not be comfortable. Also, the Romantic Suite is located right by the front door, so if you need silence, you may want to choose another room. We heard no noise at night, but while napping, we could hear the other guests checking in and coming and going. Old house, heavy doors, wood floors, you get the picture. 10/10 for us. We will be back!

Lauren P.

Yelp
This place was a hidden gem with rich hospitality and a porch made for conversation amongst guests. While "vegan" isn't exactly my husband's thing, he thoroughly enjoyed the flavors, presentation, and care that went into providing a custom order breakfast for each guest. We paid for a few of the "extras" and they just made our stay all the better in our attempt to be slightly more pampered/served. Beach chairs and beach towels were available upon request so that made packing lighter and laundry less once getting home! (Less laundry is a perk for a mom with littles!) I cannot imagine the upkeep and constant maintenance that comes with an almost 200 year old home BUT the owners have tastefully and carefully taken what is old and preserved this home to wonderful and useful space. We will definitely stay here again and check out their other properties as opportunities arise.

Yelp
This is the best place to stay in Wilmington! I never expected to enjoy North Carolina as much as I did on my mini vacation, but staying at Dreamers Welcome made it such a memorable experience. The decor is beautiful and inspiring. Each room manages to highlight the historic details of the home while embracing modern style. We were able to walk almost everywhere, but all of the essentials (gas pump, drug stores, etc.) were a quick drive away if needed. The walk to downtown is just five minutes, and there are lots of sights on the way there. My favorite part of our stay were the amazing views of the greenery from our window, and the cool air that hits you as soon as you walk in (those North Carolina summers were rough for me!). I made so many new friends from all over the country during my stay, and I can't wait to return.

Yelp
Dreamer's Welcome was definitely a dream! My partner, myself, and our four-legged son stayed in the Dreamer's Suite for two nights and we loved it! Other than the fact that there wasn't much counter space in the bathroom, we completely enjoyed ourselves. The communication between the owners/staff and ourselves was effective and quick. The decoration of the entire house was impeccable and well thought out. We even had a great conversation with Ellie and it was so good hearing about the neighborhood and Wilmington from a local's perspective. The in-room breakfast was delicious too, the breakfast is on the smaller side, but the staff told us it was small, so no complaints with that. We also loved the location. It was smack dab in the center of the historic district and only 25 minutes to Wrightsville Beach (traffic-pending). Such a unique traveling experience and we cannot wait to go back! 10/10

Yelp
My daughter was gravely and was in the hospital for a week the week before I was supposed to stay. I reached out to the hotel to tell them about the situation and that I wouldn't be able to make it because I'd had to come the week prior. I was told they would be keeping the entire amount for the entire stay. No compassion for what my family had been through. Makes me sad that this is how people do business. Policies that they won't change when hardships hit. I won't ever be staying here because I would never give my business to anyone who doesn't have it in their heart to do the right thing.

Yelp
at first we me and my husband didnt know what to expect but when we got there one of the owners were super nice so that meant the world to me being a bi- racial couple it really matters because you can walk in places and feel vibes but he was just so humble and nice and he showed us around and it was so lovely inside and the peace the calmest of everything was awesome and we slept good had a very nice time music softly played it was just good the reason i didn't say great was only because i wanted some grits eggs and bacon but in reality i didn't need it ate so much at christmas and the fact we still had fruits coffee and etc it was overall great and we will stay again ty very much for the hospitality and he didnt make me say this we really enjoyed our stay

Yelp
Chef and host Anna Masteller takes modern Alice & Wonderland fantasy to extravagant heights in her historic rooms and suites (circa 1895), where vintage and modern lighting cast an amber glow, and dried floral arrangements and woven wall hangings are carefully curated for the space. Each accommodation is unique, though all feature sumptuous beds, high thread count linens, and some with Victorian soaking tubs. A special chef's breakfast (think whole grain peach fritters and fresh-pressed grapefruit juice) can be booked the day before to be enjoyed in your room or in the garden. Appetizer plates and some of the most sought after vegan wines can be ordered for a decadent afternoon or early evening on the front porch. The excellent staff are relatively hands-off, making this more of a private hideaway than a typical downtown boutique hotel experience. I had a hard time saying goodbye and cannot wait to return.

Yelp
I booked at this establishment a couple of months ago and hadn't read the cancellation policy. Due to Covid19, I had to cancel 3 weeks before arrival. There is a 50 percent cancellation fee here PLUS cc fees if you cancel within 30 day window. This seems excessive considering the current situation. Beware in case you think you may need to change travel plans within 30 days of arrival!!!!

Yelp
This Boutique B&B is beyond beautiful. The place is truly a piece of art. From the second you walk in, you get taken to a serene tranquil space that you aren't expecting. The smells from the various diffusers, the temperature in the foyers and throughout the rooms, sounds from the different speakers, and visuals from the architecture to the art work are incredibly breathtaking. Anna's gourmet vegan breakfasts were exquisite (And we're not vegan!), as well as her willingness to make sure our stay was always exceeding our expectations. We will definitely be back to Dreamers Welcome when we return to the Wilmington area! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Yelp
This place is incredible. I am so happy we found this place last minute. They literally thought of everything. We were created by the nicest young intern... Check in in completely paperless and she was honestly one of the best parts. I can't remember her name but she was so sweet. She really made us feel so welcomed. The room was so beautiful. They are completely eco friendly. You have your own google home which is so convenient I am going to get one for my house now. They have a large flat screen which is hidden with a cover which I think is so cute. The house itself is so beautiful. It has keyless entry so you can just type in a code to get into your room which is so nice to not have to carry a key. Everything is so clean. I wish I had a photo of the bathroom which was also so beautiful. I think we had the smallest room which was run of the house. I don't see any photos of our room anywhere. You are able to text the "the Dream team" and ask questions or ask for extra towels so you don't have to go find them. This place looks straight out of a architecture magazine. I took so many videos as inspiration for how I would like my house to look. The house keeper was also really nice and did such a good job keeping the room clean. The bathroom has a rain shower and a spray nozzle. I honestly didn't want to get out of the shower. The photos are after we stayed in the room for a couple days so they aren't as nice as when I arrived. I wish I could upload the videos I took because they showed the room when we arrived. I would recommend this place 10/10. It's so incredibly beautiful. The location is also so convenient. You can easily walk to river walk and all the bars/stores/restaurants there. Do yourself a favor and book here.

Yelp
If your looking for an absolutely unique and stunning experience, look no further. Dreamers Welcome is a totally relaxing oasis in Wilmington. Each room has been designed with its own special charm, so you can visit multiple times and feel like your having a new experience with each stay. The beds are super comfortable, the service is impeccable, a feast for the senses, I personally love the front veranda that has been furnished with a luxurious hammock and urban midcentury styled furniture, perfect spot to enjoy a wine while watching the sunset over the cobblestone streets. Thank you for a perfectly relaxing week away, I highly recommend, I will be back !!!

Yelp
Lovely, amazing, beautiful and perfect. From check in to check out, everything was 10/10. Beautiful historic house with gorgeous modern interior. Super clean and comfortable. Vegan breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about Dreamers Welcome! The most beautiful little spot, and such amazing hospitality. So thankful to have stayed here on a trip down the east coast!

Yelp
I have been a small business owner for 13 years, so I do not take writing a bad review lightly. I booked 3 rooms at Dreamer's Welcome for one weeknight for a business trip. The day we were supposed to go, a State of Emergency was issued by the governor of NC because of the gas shortage (resulting from the pipeline cyber attack), and I did not feel comfortable driving the long distance knowing I would need gas to get home (with 3 of my 7 employees). I asked Dreamers Welcome to cancel our reservation, assuming that a State of Emergency would warrant a refund. They said they would offer me a travel credit for a later date ONLY if the rooms were rebooked at an equal or higher rate and absolutely refused a refund. They never contacted me back to offer a travel credit (I saw that 2 of 3 rooms were booked for the night we were supposed to go, although I don't know at what rate). The person I emailed with, Ross, was incredibly rude and snarky (pointing out that his car can get from Charlotte to Wilmington and back on a tank of gas). I'm of the opinion that a business (especially a small one) should be more focused on gaining lifelong clients as opposed to being so rigid upholding their policy for a one night's stay. I won't do business with a company that treats people this way. Unless you are FULLY confident you won't need to change your plans for ANY reason, I do not recommend booking with Dreamer's Welcome.

Yelp
Just had a lovely stay at Dreamers Welcome. Came to the area to visit a sick relative, but wished we could've spent more time in Wilmington. Dreamers is located in beautiful, historic neighborhood. Great for exploring! The hotel itself is clean, and quiet - and the proprietor could not have been more helpful and obliging. Especially loved the vegan breakfast and zen touches. Even our Lhasa Apso was comfortable and happy in the Dreamers Suite! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Yes, all the touches are perfect! Vegan half and half, filtered water, rain shower head, luxiourious pillows and bed, perfectly cool place in the heat of summer, sound machine, ingeniously covered tv, and an amazing handmade map that lets you know of all of the great things to eat, drink, and do in Wilmington. It is a caretaker's dream place to stay...a place loaded with TLC. We will be back. It was hard to get out of the door each day because it is such a relaxing space.

Yelp
This was by far the most beautiful stay I have ever had. The house is gorgeous and sits in historical Wilmington. The whole vibe of the place is very relaxing and modern on the inside, yet still incredibly cozy. I'm so glad I found this place! The room and entire home was extremely clean and there was a claw foot bath tub in the bathroom which made for the most relaxing bath I've ever taken. The owner is also paperless and vegan which I love because I am all for being environmentally friendly and animal friendly. He brought us coffee as well and was very welcoming and professional. He made us feel at home and comfortable during our stay. We may have to come back to Wilmington just to stay here again! There was also a fireplace in the room and a tv that allowed for Hulu/Netflix as long as you sign in under your own account. The porch swings were also nice to sit out and enjoy some fresh air in such a beautiful neighborhood. I wish I could give this more stars! This was the most hospitality we've seen in the south.

Yelp
The Drift Away in Sunset Park was such a dream! We stayed there for a few days and loved the aesthetics, design, and location. The beautiful backyard was a great spot for morning coffee, meals, and general relaxation. Even though there were just two of us, it had enough room for many other guests to stay. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an intentionally designed space to unwind.
